Edward Lidzbarski is the tech that came out to our home. We were having issues with when washing clothes the drain in the floor would back up. Concerned since we have only owned the home for 2 years we didn't know what were dealing with if would have been root collapsed pipe didn't know what to expect so we wanted the camera to see what might have been the issue. Edward was very professional and went straight to work. He cleaned it out and by the grace of god it was just a build up of lint and a little grease. He advised the pipe looked good no root issues and help to put our mind at easy. If that is not enough he mop up the mess the overflow of our drain made and it smelled so clean. I would recommend this company and this tech with my whole heart. This really has made my day. Now if they could have helped with laundry :) just joking. Service technician was on time and showed me exactly the condition of our main sewer line. He gave me a detailed explanation of what I was looking at on the snake camera and told me the probable causes of any blockages. He informed me that the Angie's List service that I purchased would cover a full cleaning if I were to go through with the purchase of the house, but because of the root structure of the large tree near the sewer line, that I may want to excavate and have the system replaced in the next couple years. Overall he was very courteous and informative and would go back to Cregger in the future for our plumbing needs.

Was still backed up after they left. Redid the drain myself including the stutor vent for @$65 in parts. This did not fix the issue. Called another plumber, they snaked from the laundry drain and had it cleared in @ 30 minutes. Was grease and lint.

He was efficient and knowledgable about what problem was and took care of them. I was completely satisfied with the work, and he cleaned up after work was done.

Work was done timely with excellent workmanship! Additional work that could have been charged was included. What a nice surprise!

Original service call was on 9-18-2015 for a toilet that would not refill after flushing. I was offered a choice to special order the parts for my very old toilet (installed in early 1970"s) or get a new one. I opted to have both old toilets replaced. Plumber, Paul arrived as schediled, worked quickly & cleanly, removed old unts. I am extremely pleased with service.

I purchased a deal for $111 for $200 of Plumbing Services! Cregger came out and did a great job installing my washer and dryer. I was very impressed with the service that I received.

The leaking shower drain was part of a second level major bathroom renovation which was completed 4 years ago. I don't know how long the shower was leaking. It appears to have been a very slow, minor leak for some time, at least at first, as I was not aware of a problem until recently when I observed damage to my kitchen ceiling. At that time, I contacted the company who performed the renovation work but it took them more than three months to return to "fix the problem" which they said was a cracked washer in the shower drain. After I noticed black spots on the newly plastered ceiling, I contacted Cregger Plumbing to inspect the plumbing repair and Jason showed me that the shower was still leaking. He was very good about explaining the problem with the shower drain, that it would be very difficult to crack the rubber gasket, that the problem was that it was probably not tightened sufficiently, thereby causing the leak. To avoid future similar problems, I had Jason replace the shower drain. I plan on leaving the ceiling open for a while to make sure the area has a chance to dry out and that there are no more leaks. However, I feel confident that the repair has been done correctly. The exterior & bathroom sink faucets are replaced & no more leaking! My only problem with Cregger was that I first called the Southfield location & found that the receptionist was not very helpful - not rude or impolite - but not friendly or helpful as were the individuals at the Birmingham location who were extremely pleasant (Holly & at least 2 others whose names I do not recall, maybe Nicole).

excellent communication from booking the appointment and the day of service as to the arrival time to the plumber. all questions were answered and review of work completed was done before invoice was presented. I will call Cregger Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

The gentleman was prompt, courteous and very easy to speak with. He was able to locate my cleanout line and put a camera through the line. At about 40 ft in, we found the blockage. After snaking 75ft and cleaning it out all the way, we are finally able to be unclogged and we are so grateful!

Both guys arrived promptly in the morning to start work on all the repairs that needed to be done. Old vanity was removed and new vanity sink and faucet put in. Did a very nice job. Replaced old garbage disposal in the kitchen. Again, did an excellent job. In the basement, I had major pipes that needed to be replaced to the laundry tub and a new laundry tube installed. The new tub was installed with back-up valve, new faucet, new valves for washer, and all new copper pipes with shut-offs. Again they did a very nice job. It was also discovered that the main shut-off valve to the house was broken, so they replaced it as well. Overall, I'm very pleased with the work they did.

The contractor came in and accessed and fixed the plumbing problem. I had paid the day before through Angie's List but the technician did not have any records that service was paid. He asked my son to call the company to verify payment and then he asked who had he talked to. I told my son that the technician should be calling the company to verify payment since it had been paid.

They arrived punctually on the day they came to give the estimate. It was the owner, who also brought his son who was "in training" for the family business. They were able to see quickly what was wrong, and scheduled a plumber to be out just 2 days later. They fixed the problem quickly, and were even nice enough to let me know about their deal on Angie's list as I had heard about them from elsewhere. I would refer them to anyone in the area looking for a plumber, and will actually be calling them myself for another job that we need done.

We have a problem with our sump pump. The water is coming out from overflow vent instead going through underground pipe. I called several companys and they all asked service charge just to come in and take a look at it. So I found Cregger plumbing from Angies as I never heard them before locally. Emily picked up the phone and clearly explained what could be the problem. She offered to send one of the supervisors Bill at no cost. The next day Bill came with a camera and showed us that the underground line got jammed or broke and he cant take risk of sending the probe further as there is water in the line. He recommended to put a new line. So spoke to Emily again and she quoted the job and I agreed to go ahead with the project. Mark and his team showed up on the job ontime ...oh man its a tear up. I mean its very big job. They need to dig out 3 ft or so below for the whole length of 60ft all the way back to storm drainage. Any way the job was completed in two days. Its a pure hardwork on Mark. Connecting the pipeline to city storm was a nigtmare. Every one of them from this company are very professional. Emily, Holly, Mark, Kevin and Bill. They also offered me 7 year warranty on the job. Hope what they did is correct but I will never go back again to do this. Now here is the bad part. With all the work my grass and grading every thing got ruined including my patio, Even though they put the dirt back again it left a huge hump on my yard. They told me that its my job to fix the damaged lawn and yard and patio. I have to spend another $4K to fix this. The whole project costed me over $6K for just stupid sump pump discharge. What a world we are living! Any way it was my bad luck. But as far as Cregger, even though they left my yard destroyed I will go again to seek their services as I can trust them with the actual plumbing work and corteousness. But I need to time tested on the job what they performed.

Good first impression. Technician shows up, has a tablet to take notes, etc. Listened to what I wanted to have done. Promised estimate in 3 days. 2 weeks and 3 calls later, received an estimate that was hard to read (lots of spelling issues, but the itemized list was one really, REALLY long text all jammed together. About 1,000 words. I know how to do the work, but can't execute it. Be your own judge on the value of their labor. I was not paying that amount.

The employees were professional and completed the job in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I now know that my sewer system, which is old and strange, is in good condition. In a previous visit, Cregger cleaned and evaluated the sewer line from outside portal to the street. This time, they thoroughly evaluated the sewer from inside to the outside portal. Since this is my second time using Cregger, I was pleased that the person on this call, Keith, was even better than the first man, who was just fine. Keith worked efficiently and fast. I didn't even know when he had finished cleaning out the lavatory sink trap. He also was nice enough to stop a leak in the shower. It didn't take long, but it wasn't included, so I appreciated it a lot. Both times the men have been young, very well trained, polite and personable, and really efficient. I will continue to use Cregger as my plumbing company.
