Description of Work: Did not respond to text, email or phone . Would not acknowledge anything . I only had a couple of questions about the job and got silence !!!

Description of Work: I sent a message to them on 8/19 asking about an estimate and availability. I never received a response.

Description of Work: Repaired two shutoff valves, replaced shower diverter, replaced dishwasher flange on kitchen sink and replaced thermostat for heated floor in bathroom. Very happy with work, very friendly and professional. Would not hesitate to use them in the future and will pass their name to friends and family.

Description of Work: installed 3 door cabinet, painted exterior doors and cut/intalled crown molding

Description of Work: They removed countertops and sinks in the master bath and the second bath. They also removed mirrors from the walls and disposed of one of them for me. The also installed two ceiling fans. After new countertops were installed they returned to installsinks and rehang one of the mirrors. They worked with my crazy schedule when family matters surfaced.

Description of Work: Wire a 110 outdoor outlet to a panel box for my hot tub. I asked both the owner and the electrician to wire the outlet independent of the hot tub function. When he was through I had to leave the hot tub on or remove the hot tub wires and add a circuit later. He would have fixed it right but would need to add time on the job. He was pleasant and told me how I could complete the work. Since I had purchased all the materials and was still charged $45 dollars for their minmum charge of $60 for less than an hour's work I decided to finsh myself.

Description of Work: It was a little expensive, but they did a good job repairing my deck.

Description of Work: He only gave estimate on kitchen countertops. Did not give us estimate on bathroom countertops. We emailed back letting him know he only gave us a partial estimate and he never got back with us. Price seemed very high for just the kitchen so we did not have him do the job anyway.

Description of Work: The workmanship was very good. Our cost was more but it was due to "our" choosing to replace the entire area vs just the effected area. We had a time constraint due to travel, and they did everything possible to complete before we were leaving. We are looking at a bigger project....and we are comfortable choosing Dales husband for a day!!

Description of Work: We had a large pergola built on our deck. Dale, the owner of Husband for a Day, did the design with our input and set a date for construction. The building was done in two stages. Dale and another gentleman cut the boards for the top of the pergola, with the scalloped edges. They hand notched the boards so that the cross beams could be fit in during the build. A crew of two men completed the pergola the next day and it turned out beautifully. We have had Husband4aDay do several projects for us over the last two years. The price has always been fair and the quality of work has been excellent. When we can budget it in, they will likely do our bathroom remodels too.

Description of Work: The scraped and painted around the outside of our windows and repaired a short piece of gutter. | |They are difficult to get in touch with. However, their workmanship and promptness in coming to do the job were great.

Description of Work: He removed old glass fireplace doors and installed my new ones, removed an old ceiling light fixture and installed a new one, changed a burned out bulb in my stairwell and repaired my doorbell. The doorbell required a new solenoid, which he didn't expect, so he ran to Lowe's to get one. Very pleased with his work.

Description of Work: Installed light switches and outlets, repaired fascia along my roof line, installed a hand rail in my stairwell, replaced a porch light fixture and properly reinstalled my dishwasher which had been installed by another service incorrectly.

Description of Work: Installed Kitchen ceiling fan (new wiring, switch) didn't have a fan in the kitchen before. Replaced cantilever under the fireplace, painted specific areas I could not reach, drywall finishing and ready for paint, caulk master bath shower floor, removed and replaced shower door in downstairs bathroom. The jobs were done in a timely manner and they were great to work with, the workers were very professional and always cleaned up after doing the work. I would recommend them to anyone interested in home repairs at a reasonable price. My only concern was when I called I usually had to leave a message and was unsure if my message was received. However they did follow through with what ever I had said on my message but I just didn't know until the worker showed up if they got my message when I would be home.

Description of Work: They remodeled our master bathroom, and far exceeded our expectations. The tile work is beautiful. As is "all" the work done! Chris & Jim were the workers who did the work. They were both so professional. They were hard-working, pleasant, and always amenable to any questions or suggestions my husband and I had. They got the job done in the time allotment they quoted. We would highly recommend them for all home renovations. A gentleman named Dale is the owner of the company. Again very honest & sincere. He e-mailed a quote for the job within 1-2 days after his visit to our home. Andrea his office manager was also wonderful to work with. We have had other work done in our home, they are by far the best!
