A bit of siding along the roof came down in a storm. We didn't notice it until we started getting water damage inside. Thomas was booked solid, but came over anyway between jobs to get it put back up because more rain was expected and timing was critical. While putting the siding up, he doubted that's where the water was getting in and so inspected a little more and saw some possible culprit areas. He then sealed those.

We had a couple sections of roof shingles lift off during the strong historic wind storm of 2017. I went up to inspect and determined it was something we couldn't ignore. Got a hold of Tom and came right out the next day to handle the job. He came at his expected arrival and was done in less than an hour! I haven't gone up to re-inspect the job, but I believe it will be to my satisfaction. When the weather breaks again, I'll update my review!

Went very smoothly. I called Thomas around 11 am and he was on my roof making the repair by 1 PM. Really please with the work he did and his willingness to work me into his schedule on such short notice.

Thomas returned our initial call quickly, visited us soon, and gave us a quote in a reasonable amount of time, then scheduled the work for the following week. Thomas did a good job on the installation. We had a few concerns that showed up post installation that he came back the same week to fix. Thomas addressed all our questions and concerns throughout the install/post-install and communicated with us in a timely fashion.

The work was done professionally and on time. Tom had to cut through face stone, which no one else seemed to know how to do or were willing to do it. He created custom frames for our 2 outside windows. He asked us if what he was planning was what we wanted ahead of time and checked in with us periodically throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Tom for any of your projects.

They worked with me over the phone and showed up when they said they would. The repairs were done correctly and they even took pictures of their work and sent them to me. Very professional and easy to work with.

I called this provider several times telling him what I needed done. Asked him to call me back so we could make an appointment. Got a message one day because he thought I was somebody else. I called him back and told him he had the wrong person and repeated my request, name and phone number. Never heard from him again. Left him a last message telling him that I was very disappointed and didn't know why he was on Angie's List if he wasn't interested in working and all he had to do tell me is that he didn't have time or didn't want to do it. Wasted all week trying to get in touch with him.

Thomas was very professional to diagnostic the problem and provide a quote. The repair was properly performed according to the plan and no surprises. We are wiling to hire Thomas again for another project inside the house

He called us after fixing the problem to make sure the issue was resolved. My husband still noticed some water on the driveway from a potential leak so he promptly came out again to look things over again and treat the area. He is professional and easy to work with.

Thomas exceeded my expectations. When he came to give me the proposal he recommended enhancements to the room that I had not considered, that increased the value of the finished work. He was prompt, professional, and did an excellent job. He was willing to work with me when the estimate was greater than my budget, and the work done was well worth the cost. Tom Southwell came over the same day we called him. He checked out our roof and discovered a large strip of shingles had been pulled off, probably by a raccoon. Fortunately, the critter didn't get into the attic, but he did cause quite a leak! While Tom was up there, he found some other areas where the shingles were damaged and discovered that the chimney cap was badly cracked, leaving the chimney susceptible to water damage. He took pictures of the damaged areas so we could see what we were dealing with. Within hours, he emailed me an estimate to fix the roof, chimney, interior repair of the ceiling and a few other miscellaneous jobs we asked about. His estimate was broken down by project, so we were able to choose what we wanted to have done right away. We decided to try to do the interior work ourselves, but hired Tom to do the roof and chimney repairs. Since he was already working on a job Tuesday and Wednesday, he started our work on Thursday. However, he came over on Wednesday to cover the area that was missing shingles, just in case it rained. By Friday afternoon, the work was completed, and we are dry once more! Tom was pleasant, professional and competent. We would recommend Wells Thomas LLC to other homeowners who have jobs they'd rather not tackle themselves. We will hire Tom again.

Timely estimate, easy to schedule, good communication, and quality work. Would definitely use again for a batch of jobs around the house. Just got a good impression in general too - thanks :). Cost was a little high, but the character of the work and professionalism were worth it to get the work done. I definitely recommend bundling services.

Thomas is a skilled and experienced problem solver who worked tirelessly to complete multiple tasks on the exterior and interior of my new house to my complete satisfaction! Thomas arrived with an assistant (Jim) who began working immediately on my gutters. I initially hired Thomas to clean and repair my gutters and to replace some missing pieces of siding on my garage. On the day Thomas arrived, I added a few additional tasks to the list, which he was happy to complete. Thomas arrived with all necessary equipment to complete the tasks I had explained to him in advance. Some of the additional tasks required a trip to Home Depot for supplies. Both Thomas and Jim worked until 7:30 PM on a Friday without complaint in order to complete all requested work--WOW! Thomas and Jim were professional and polite, and I enjoyed having them at the house. I hope they enjoyed working on my house as I would like to hire them again soon for more home repairs!

I couldn't be happier. My kitchen had not been updated in years. Thomas removed 50 year old kitchen with a forrmica back splash and counter top. Then installed new counter top, sink, faucet, and disposal, new hardware on all my cabinets, repaired drawers where slides no longer held the drawers up . He waited for the counter top I ordered to be delivered and came back the following week to complete the job. He put new ceramic tile on the back splash area and sealed it. Looks fantastic. Installed new fans in kitchen and bathroom; one of which had been set in plaster when house was built in 1958. Replaced three lights -- one of them twice. I was so pleased with his skill, dedication to doing things correctly even if it takes more time, advice on what to purchase, neatness and communications. The two assistants who work for him were very good alsol I won't hesitate to call him again.

Thomas is very easy to work with and is willing to go the extra mile to make things come together. It was easy to communicate with him and his crew and they were always checking that things were going as we planned. The work was completed to our expectations and beyond. It was a pleasure working with Thomas and he responded in a professional and friendly manner whenever we requested additional assistance. The crew worked hard to keep the site clean and the house as undisturbed as possible. We have future work lined up with Thomas and will continue to call on him for projects as needed.

Once started they were there every weekday until complete. He was good about making major changes to the original quote. It took a couple days longer than anticipated without additional costs. They cleaned up every day before leaving. Everything was done fairly well and completed according to the quote. However, they installed the drywall over two existing walls leaving the room with three walls, in hindsight I would have had the two existing walls removed. In addition a few of the 12x12 ceramic tiles are crooked, the shower door is not level causing the doors to slide to one side. It doesn't seem like the grout for the shower surround was sealed, or at least it needs another coat of sealant. Everything in my garage is covered with tile dust because they cut the tile in the garage (there really was no other option, but it would have been better if things were covered with plastic while the tile was being cut). He is a good handyman, but I do not recommend him for big jobs like total room renovations.

All renovations are taxing; however the renovation went well do to the professionalism of the owner I allowed the lead, Thomas, access to my home during the time of the renovation. He contacted me everyday when entering and departing the home. This worked well. We worked together to pick out all finishes. I would go to the store to select them and he would pick them up. I love my new master bath!

He came at the appointed time, was courteous and efficient. He helped out with two other things. stayed longer than he charged.

Called for electrical service. When he promptly returned my call, he suggested a few things on the phone which solved my problem. Appreciated the call and the fact there was no charge. Will call again when I need work.

Great! Thomas and two workers came when they were scheduled, did the work he was contracted for, and completed job in the time he said he would, for the cost he quoted. Thomas took time to make sure he got the correct color of paint. He investigated the leak in windows and doorwall, found the problem, and did the repair. He and one of the workers took time to install proper weatherstripping on bottom of door. One of workers suggested installing weatherstripping around door which it badly needed. The two workers were polite, conscientious about their work, cleaned up work site, and didn't mind my dog barking. They installed a new doorbell free of charge, and Thomas gave me a discounted rate on some labor. Thomas and worker returned day after job was completed to fix a couple things. All in all, it was a pleasure doing business with them, they did good quality work and my door looks fantastic. Thomas and the workers care about the work they do.
