In the beginning this company provided me with facts and information, without high pressure sales, Gladly answered all my questions, and respected my time constraints. The worker that came to measure my windows was prompt. professional and efficient, again answering any questions I had, and was respectful of my time constraints. They scheduled my installation date, after my windows were made specifically for my home. The installers called me the morning they were to arrive. with an exact time they would be here. They had estimated it would take 2 days to install, but they worked through lunch and breaks, and never left until the job was done on the first day!. It took about 7 hours to complete the whole house! They laid down floor covers throughout the entire house, and vacuumed the floor everywhere they had worked. The yard was cleaned up of all materials, and they took away the old windows. You would not have known they were even there, except for the beautiful new windows. Before they left, the crew leader did a walk through with me to be sure I was satisfied with every window, and answered any questions. This company exceeded my expectations at step of the process! The windows are very energy efficient, and easy to clean, and are made here in Michigan. That, in itself was very important to me...supporting local jobs!

It went fine when windows were installed. Follow-up service in past years has been fine also.

For windows I used WeatherGard. I like them because they were commercial grade windows, I liked that. They were fine.

WeatherGard Windows was in our area replacing a neighbor?s window. A gentleman appeared at our door asking if we had an interest in their services. Typically, that sales approach sets off a big warning flag. We agreed to see their salesman regarding a replacement front door. The salesman appeared in a day or two. We went through his catalog and found a door to our liking. We were quoted a price of about $11,400. This was certainly way more than we expected. Next he pulled the old scam of if you buy it today it?ll only cost $9,200. To give the man credit he stated he was required by the company to do this. I?m sorry, but whenever I hear this line the price becomes $9,200 regardless. What also bothered me was there was no written quote or estimate, no information left behind on the door we selected. I actually had to take notes in order to document even the price. In the world of automotive mechanics this practice is illegal (PA 300). I don?t know about home improvement contractors. I found what I thought was a comparative door at Home Depot for a couple thousand. That?s a big difference! Due to what I feel are shady business practices, I?ll be taking by business elsewhere.

The service was great. The quality of the windows is why we would recommend them. They are the nicest windows, and it has the longest warranty. My house looks brand new with the new window. They took the original wood windows from the 80s. It was cracked and so it all looks brand new.

Eddie was our salesman and he was great. Straight forward and knowledgable. He helped me get the best deal for the windows that I really wanted. We did the whole house including two new sliders. I have to wait a few weeks before they will be installed, but the other companies had the same wait. I'm not hanging up the plastic this winter! I suggest you give WeatherGard a chance. I'm really glad I did.

Salesman was very professional and detailed. His presentation was excellent and product seemed to be very high end. As much as I wanted to commit to Weathergard, unfortunately the price was out of my range, so I went with another contractor on more of a mid grade window. I would recommend getting a quote from Weathergard based on my visit.

He was very good at explaining why he charged 40% more than any body else and he brings out the demonstration, he shows you why your going to pay that much, their windows are so much better in his opinion and he demonstrates why they are better and he was right they are better. His price is higher than others but you get what you paid for.

We are very pleased with the windows they installed. They are an excellent company to deal with. The quality of their service is great. The windows are very easy to clean and are very sturdy. Our neighbors have also used this company for window installation. Their prices are really good and we have no more drafts. We live next to a very busy street and I do not hear the cars going by anymore. The technicians were very professional and completed the service within a day. They knew what they were doing and the sales person was great.

We love the new windows. Our salesman was very personable and polite. It took longer than expected from the time we ordered the windows to the time they were installed. However, once they notified us that the windows were ready, the installation process went quickly. The workers were polite and professional. We are very satisfied with the quality of the product and would definitely order from WeatherGard again when we are ready for additional windows.

They were a pleasure to work with. From the initial sales call to the completion of the job, it was nothing but good! The entire staff that interfaced with us was polite and professional. I'd recommend them and would use them again.

All the windows and doorwall were replaced in Oct. 2013. Then we called them back to replace our front and back doors including storm in front in January 2014. This is what adds up to the total price above. Mick was the one who replaced the windows. He had help the first day only, which then I believe made the job take an extra day and a half totalling 2 and a half days. That being said, the job that was done for us we could not be happier with. All the windows are commercial grade and the installation was done to perfection which also includes the beautiful trim job on the outside of each window. We also had 4 windows that were crank outs turned into sliders, which was more work to cut out the center wood plank to turn them into one single window vs two. Mick was a perfectionist, and did a beautiful job. We would recommend him to anyone. Very friendly and professional. Then in January we had the doors replaced. They were done by Dave and another man. They did a beautiful job on the doors and we are very happy. There was a ding in the front door, so he reordered and did come back later to replace it with no problem. All in all we would recommend Weathergard to all. They were great to work with, they were careful with our property, and they took away all the garbage and cleaned up very nicely. We had the coldest winter in years this year and these windows have been great. It was so warm and cozy and here this winter and now that the weather has turned warm, it is nice and cool in here. And the quietness is great too. We hardly here the wind anymore. We could not be happier with out purchase of these windows and doors.

Quality of installation was top notch. Outside sealing around brickwork was very well done. Crew was quiet but didn't give much feedback, not that it was needed. They did the job in about 7 hours and that was it. No complaints.

I own the house jointly with my mom who is in a nursing home. I would be paying for the windows. Weatherguard was asked a lot of very rude questions about whether my mom coudl be present for the quote anyway, and whether I have power of attorney over my mom, which made me highly uncomfortable. It is totally none of their business. They are selling windows, not getting involved with my mom's finances. I told them I was uncomfortable with their questions.

I cannot express how happy I am with Weathergard. Fantastic sales process (Marvin) and an AWESOME install crew (Chris and his team, Joe and Jim). The install team showed up on time, worked their butts off, kept the entire operation moving along, cleaned up while they worked, as well as after they were done with the job (Joe vacuumed every nook and cranny of the work area(s)). Even better they are enjoyable people to converse and engage with - I'd welcome them back in my home on any given day. Real professionals and craftsmen. Another mention needs to go out to Schlome. He worked with me on the design of my new door, ensuring that it was going to meet mine and my wife's needs (to be happy with the end product). He truly gave the process a personal touch. And I need to mention the unsung heroes; the fine craftsmen and craftswomen who make the excellent Weathergard product. Kudos to ALL!

They were great, they were excellent in everything that they did and they were meticulous. They did everything, they made everything look perfect and they just did everything to the highest level of quality. I was very impressed by them.

I was happy with their windows. The guy came over and it was one of those where the guy wants to give you an estimate and then they pressure you into the sale so I wasn't excited about that. The deal seemed alright and the windows are very good so I guess I am happy about that. It wasn't a great deal but it was decent. I would use them again.

The whole process form start to finish was good. The salesman came out prompt. He was very clear etc on his explanations of the products and such. Did bring to my attention a code issue that another window company that I had gotten an estimate from did not either know or follow the code. And they were going to put windows ion that did not meet code issues. The cost of the product was a little more BUTas the old addidge goes you get what you pay for. After I choose to use Weathergard, we set up the installation date and they came. The installers were very nice and polite. Cleaned up everything. If were not for them asking me a few question I wouldnt really have known they were here. So overall very pleased, with the work and quality of the windows. And with the process of the purchase.

They arrived on time. Very professional and pleasant. Cleaned area up. Windows are high quality, super insulated. Commercial grade. Very nice looking windows, inside and out.

I cancelled the appointment for an estimate. The man who came to my door did not seem to know what he was doing. It made me too nervous and I no longer could trust the company based on this man's behavior. He also said the company was out of Detroit. I live in Lansing. Good grief I want a local person doing my windows.

The estimator came exactly on time. He was personable and professional. After discussing our situation and examining our windows he suggested that we didn't need to buy new windows. He gave us some suggestions as to how we could maintain our windows to help improve their performance and where we could get replacement parts. We really appreciated his candor and honesty. We feel we got good advice. We would recommend this company even though no service was contracted.

3/11/14 - Rec'd call from some lady in the office to confirm appointment. When she found out that my husband was not going to make the appointment; she canceled it. I called back and asked who the owner/manager was only to be transfer to him. I believe his name is Tony. He apologized for the rude behavior of the lady and said someone would be at my condo for the appointment with only me. He gave me an entire sales pitch about why pitching to spouses was statistically better. I told him that was a stupid company policy. 3/12/14 - A gentleman named John B. showed up on time for the appointment, was professional and polite. He left saying he would email me an estimate by the weekend. 3/18/14 - John called me while I was at work and asked what I had decided. I told him I hadn't received an estimate or any product information. I also reminded him that I had to send it all to the condo board so they knew what I was purchasing. He again said I would see this information via email by the end of the week. 4/10/14 - I have not heard back from John since, nor have I ever received an estimate or the product information. He had showed me print outs of Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau stating that they had a good rating. Well, they didn't do me any favors and I would never considering using this company. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU SIGN AN AGREEMENT AT THE FIRST MEETING SINCE THEIR FOLLOW UP IN LACKING.

| |Crew was early at the jobsite and worked tirelessly throughout the day to complete the job. When they left, the area was very clean and, other than a new roof, you could not tell that they had been there and done all that work. I will definitely recommend them.
