I absolutely LOVE my New WeatherGard windows !!! From start to finish the whole process went super smoothly. Everyone I met from the Company were very professional and very friendly.. from my Sales Representative who thoroughly informed me, and answered all my questions about my new windows to the installers who did an Awesome Job when they came out to install them. Could not be happier. I had out 4 different 'Middle Man' Companies that purchase their windows from factories from out of state, and one that was made in Canada (Magic Windows) and resell them here in Michigan, and from everything I saw, I'm glad I decided to go with WeatherGard, not only because they are made right here in Farmington, MI, but they ARE By Far The Best Built window, and truly stand head and shoulders above the rest. Again, I can't recommend WeatherGard any better. If you need new windows, don't even bother with the rest. WeatherGard is your best choice.

WeatherGard installed my windows, roof, gutters, and entry door. I would never use anybody else. They make windows in Michigan for Michigan. Fiberglass may be great in Arizona, but not here. Recycled vinyl is flimsy. These are commercial grade windows and they are permanent. And gorgeous!

I contacted WeatherGard. I believed based on my own research that WeatherGard was the best option of every other company in their same lane. I did not want any fast talking salesman and told the lady on the phone that whoever contacts me back please be good! The sales manager first contacted me. He was extremely professional and very nice. We set up a Zoom call. I wanted a ballpark figure to get an idea. He was able to help me with that over the phone. It was a bit more at first than I thought, but still much less than Anderson. The owner was so good. His demeanor was as patient and honest as it could be. He helped us on selection and pricing to really make us feel good about my moving forward. With a slight bit of back and forth, I could not see myself even thinking of calling any other companies. Shlome the owner flat out sold me on himself and his company and why I should go with them. I cannot say enough good things about how they handled us. This was such a breath of fresh air because trying to find a good and honest company to do business with in the Midwest can be very challenging. Shlome had the knowledge, patience, professionalism without any high pressure or poor sales techniques. He showed me pictures and even what he did in his own home. WeatherGard to be the one. My wife and I made the drive to meet Shlome at his headquarters in Oak Park. He had a mask on when we arrived. It was the weekend and he met us there and again took all the time we needed face to face. We looked in the showroom and I sat down with Shlome and told him what we wanted. We have decided we wanted all the doors and windows for our 5,000 sq. foot home to be white on the inside and black on the outside. My office I wanted wood grain to match the woodwork. He showed me their wood grain finish. Not a laminate or sticker, but more of a dip. Super look. Not cheap at all. It would take some time to get the job ready for install. We left happy. We felt relieved with WeatherGard and excited. We loved how the windows had more than just 1 seal. My wife did not want bugs or air coming in and with their windows we see that is not going to happen. All Cardinal glass. Looked great. My job is ready for install. Chris, his brother on his crew Todd and Joe all showed up. They are so good! They are so professional. Yes they had masks on and they covered things in our home, used drop cloths everywhere and cardboard to walk on so not to damage our floors. They cleaned up after themselves. They never got annoyed with me watching them or asking a million questions. They used so much insulation which was my big thing. They made sure every window and door went in level and perfect and with all the foam and insulation they could possibly fit. This is their normal. They did not rush, they took their time. I’m telling anyone who is reading this, that this has been one of, if not the best experience of home re-mod I have ever had in my life. They were here 4 days in total. They trimmed everything so darn beautiful inside and out. I told them that as good as the product looked in the showroom that I felt it actually looked better installed in my home. I could not be happier. I tipped all 3 installers $200 each. I was not sure how much to tip them. I always like to tip workers when they are good and work hard and handle me with care. I just felt $50 or $100 would have been in insult. I don’t think they even expected it, but for me it’s just how I am. They were so gracious and so appreciative of my tip. As crazy as this sounds, I am sorry to see this crew leave and feel like this experience was so good that I did not want it to come to an end. How crazy is that?? It was like having friends come stay and vacation with you and when they leave to go home, you feel depressed for a day. I know, but I am telling you I am over the moon with WeatherGard, their approach, their management, their installers, their product and the entire experience from the moment they returned my call to the moment they pulled away from my completed job.

We had our windows replaced in our home and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Amazing product and great price. With a Lifetime Guarantee on an incredible product you couldn’t ask for anything more.

BAIT AND SWITCH: The salesman's extra-long pitch sold us on windows that are good at keeping out UV rays. These windows were switched to the lower quality windows when we asked for a better price. The switch was never told to us. The contract (through inventory numbers only) that we signed was for cheaper windows. Now, when the weather is hot, the rooms warm up faster than our old windows. And, our air conditioner has to work harder. But, to Weather Gard's credit, THESE POOR-PERFORMING WINDOWS LOOK GREAT!!!

They did the work quickly and seemed OK at fist but in 5 years have had to call them twice. First time they came and took care of the leak immediately. Now I have been trying to work with them for 2 years and am about to seek legal solutions to my problems. Their service department is great in promises but horrible in following up. Buyer beware, go with a roofing company not these guys.

Windows were installed within 3 weeks. Crew did an excellent job. Now if I can only get them out to install siding and gutters. They already have cancelled three install dates. Started in early may, now end of June and still waiting.

I told the door-to- door rep., the guy who set up the appointment and the salesman when he came to my house, that I was getting other quotes and would NOT be making a decision that day. Despite those very clear statements, the salesman became rude and huffy when I wouldn't buy for the discounted price only available that day. He said that I told him that I had already gotten quotes and I told him again that I had someone coming out next week to give me another quote. He left very quickly, acted angry, while disparaging me for giving up a great deal. I continued to be respectful and thanked him for his time. During the sales pitch, he made several negative comments while trying to make me buy, saying that this job (one doorwall) was very small and that they didn't make much money off of it, putting down other companies products etc. The actual product seems impressive for keeping out heat and cold, which was demonstrated with a heat lamp and sprayed dry ice, but is quite expensive ($3100 for a 5 ft doorwall-or $2500 if I had bought on the spot and allowed a sign in my yard for 2 weeks) and the salesman never actually gave me information regarding the factors used in the energy star ratings, only that their's surpassed the minimal standards of the energy star rating. Some information found in the brochure he gave me, conflicted with what he had explained (like argon/no argon but titanium in the glass, spray coating/titanium mixed into the glass and several different options for handles/only white). I fully expect a follow up sales pitch, but would not consider working with a company with such sales tactics and rude employees. Negatively affected my day. I have other appointments lined up for additional quotes.

Wrong number of windows were counted for installation, but, after contacting BBB they installed the last window at no cost.

Because of our dissatisfaction with the customer service we went with a different company for the downstairs. We would not use them again, although because of our contract they’re the ones who have to service the windows when they get broken.

The experience was what I expected. It wasn’t a good/bad, it’s just they came and they fixed it and then they were gone. It was free, it comes with the contract. I would use them again because of the contract and the window has to be serviced.

The representative who responded was Shawn Healey. He was punctual and professional. There was no high pressure sales tactics or deception. Shawn was candid with me, and I was very comfortable dealing with him. I did not use Weathergard as it was more money than what I wished to spend, but I believe the company has an excellent product which it stands behind. If I were looking for a top end product, I would be comfortable with this company.

Had a sales person come out. Told them before the visit that this was just to take window measurements as husband is in TX and wanted a quote. They agreed. Guy came out, was rude when he couldn't give me the "sales pitch" and then ran around my house taking measurements. Then, once he got measurements, he left in a big hurry without any kind of word to me. I felt very disrespected. We had been upfront with the company as to why they were there and that my husband wouldn't be there. Then, to make matters worse, when my husband called them to get the $ quote, the idiot tells my husband that he "lost" all of the measurements so they aren't able to do a quote at this time. Guess what, you are going to do a quote for us AT ALL! I'm much too busy to deal with incompetent people like this.

It started a little rocky with the sales person we worked with initially but Shlome took over and it ended up fabulous. It's great to see a company who wants to do right by their customers - super impressed with how he worked to make sure everything was PERFECT for us. I would highly recommend WeatherGard.

Setting up an estimate appointment was simple and we scheduled for noon on a Saturday. About 11:50am, WeatherGard called saying their salesman was still with another customer and the earliest they could get someone out was 12:45pm. I said it was fine, but I had to leave for work by 1:15pm. My wife is perfectly capable to collect any information and obtain an estimate for us to discuss later - and honestly, if she wanted it, she'd had got it. The caller expressed no problem with this and said he would dispatch someone immediately. "HW" arrived to our house at 12:50pm and initially was very personable, interacting with our 2-yr-old daughter and commenting on our home and neighborhood. I politely expressed that we needed to get down to business as I had to leave within 20 minutes for work. He snapped back why we scheduled such a late appointment; I kindly said we had a noon appointment and it was his company that dropped the ball, not us. Subsequently, he refused to do anything for us beyond rescheduling for another time. No information, no estimate, nothing. I only gave Weathergard D-ratings because I understand scheduling problems can occur, and ultimately this is a reflection of their dated 1950s business model that may appeal to older folks. We only wanted an estimate and had absolutely no intention of signing anything that day. Unfortunately we couldn't get anything from Weathergard but a desire to write this review and never buy from them. Time was wasted for all parties involved.

Weathergard Windows offer a commercial grade window which may be superior to a certain degree in construction, but not for $20,000. When the salesman quoted me that price and I told him I would have to consider it, he asked me that if he called his boss and got his approval, and lowered his price to $14,000, would I sign that day. So obviously the company was still making a profit at $14,000, but this salesman was ready to charge me an additional $6,000 without a second thought I told him to get out. I went with a company with a very good window for under $10,000.

Workers showed up on time. Watched them install the windows including insulation around the windows that a lot of companies don't do. Caulked very neat lines and cleaned up completely. Never really could tell they were there. Also installed a beautiful bay window in the kitchen.

In the beginning this company provided me with facts and information, without high pressure sales, Gladly answered all my questions, and respected my time constraints. The worker that came to measure my windows was prompt. professional and efficient, again answering any questions I had, and was respectful of my time constraints. They scheduled my installation date, after my windows were made specifically for my home. The installers called me the morning they were to arrive. with an exact time they would be here. They had estimated it would take 2 days to install, but they worked through lunch and breaks, and never left until the job was done on the first day!. It took about 7 hours to complete the whole house! They laid down floor covers throughout the entire house, and vacuumed the floor everywhere they had worked. The yard was cleaned up of all materials, and they took away the old windows. You would not have known they were even there, except for the beautiful new windows. Before they left, the crew leader did a walk through with me to be sure I was satisfied with every window, and answered any questions. This company exceeded my expectations at step of the process! The windows are very energy efficient, and easy to clean, and are made here in Michigan. That, in itself was very important to me...supporting local jobs!
