J & E Installation

He was pretty prompt. He came at the right time. He did what he said. He gave us a good deal. Most people were charging more than that. The staff was good. It was a one-man crew. He came when he set the date. He did a pretty good job.

I was very pleased with them. I never had issues with them. One of the doors was a bit slack so they came back out and put in some extra heavy long screw to anchor it in better. Ever since they did that it has been perfect.

They did a great job. Very fast service and very knowledgeable. The installers did a wonderful job and the end result looked great. Will for sure use them when its time to do our windows as well.

This company was so great to work with. There was no pressure on the selling side and the installation went exactly as planned. The door is beautiful and the customer service was great.!!! I would highly recommend this company.

Jeff the owner was very helpful and knowledgable. We ordered the custom doors in December but because of the weather this winter in MIchigan we had to wait until the temps were at least in the 30's. They removed the 10 year old builder's doors and re-installed the new Sunrise doors and they are so much better. We have 3 panels of glass on our doors so they aren't the average doors. We are very happy with the quality, installation and experience of using J & E Installation. We would highly recommend them . We have a higher end home and they were up to the task completely!

The job went very well. Jeff provided honest pricing, expert service, and best of all quality products. Since the first job went so well, I have ordered an additional 8 interior doors from J & E Installation.

The doors came in within the expected period of time quoted. The installation was seamless. The installers were amazing and very respectful of my home. What I liked about J&E was not only the sales process but that they would paint all of the moldings before installation, unlike most other companies that install moldings unfinished and you have to do the painting after the installation. I had been to many door companies but non offered this service. Their prices while not cheap were right there with everyone else. These are quality doors and worth every penny I paid. This has been a brutal winter and my heat and electric bills are less than last year with a much milder winter. If I need any more windows or doors I will go right back to J&E.

They were always on time with a call before showing up. All workers were professional and they cleaned up behind themselves. There was one small problem with the keying of the doors but they came back and took care of it. Jeff, who handled the sale, was very friendly and honest about the sale and the products that he used. Great price for a fiberglass door and an Anderson window.

We had an excellent experience with J & E! From start to finish they were extremely helpful, professional, and detail oriented. A great family owned company with personal service. Ed, one of the owners, helped us figure out which kind of windows would be best for us and was great at explaining the options for our first time window purchase. He was even there on installation day to work with the team and make sure everything turned out perfectly. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend J & E.

Our journey started off with deciding we would be staying in our home for many years to come. We cruised thru Angie's List and found J & E. We went to the showroom and we were greeted by Tina. We checked out their extensive collection of doors and windows. Our questions were answered and we felt a degree of comfort. We then left and checked out several competitors who were also in the area. Home to the computer to read more reviews. The next day we went back and scheduled an in home estimate. What we liked most about the showroom was seeing the quality of the products offered. Being able to see and touch them versus looking at pictures. A few days later Ed came to our home and asked us what we wanted to do. I let my wife explain to him what we were looking at doing and the two of them came up with a game plan. This is where J & E pull miles ahead. After deciding on products, we then went to custom staining to match our home interior and exterior colors. Although it took a few weeks to get our products in and stained the way we wanted them, it sure was worth the wait. Craftmanship is the only way I can think to describe the quality of the work that was done in and outside our home. Extra steps were taken because that's how they do things. We never once felt that anyone was trying to hurry to "get it done". In fact even after the work was done, Ed came back because he didn't like one the handles on a window. He apologized and ordered a replacement. Hands-on, on-sight, and available while all the work was done. We didn't experience any "surprises" in our final price, even though we did get some extra staining done "because it looked better". Ed made sure everything was perfect. The clean-up afterward was excellent. We definitely recommend J & E if you want quality work done by someone that really cares.

If you are a customer who feels that your time is valuable and that communication to you is critical, and a MUST, then perhaps J&E Installations is not the organization with which you should do business. A very nice visit to the showroom where Tina gave much input. An appointment was set but at the time when the representative, Ed, should have arrived at my home he was a no show. No Ed, no call to advise, no nothing. When I contacted J&E to determine the status of my appointment I was informed by Tina that things got hectic and apparently Ed let his appointments fall by the wayside. In business and well as life the unexpected happens. Stuff just happens. However, then is when follow-up becomes most critical and the need for communication becomes paramount. So, if you are a potential customer who values your time and expects communication to occur then perhaps J&E is not the organization with which you want to do business.

Very good experience. The owner personally visited, measured and helped us choose the right door and hardware. Very helpful recommendations. The installation team was very professional and did a great job. The door exceeded our expectations. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant, professional and prompt. We would recommend this company.

The customer service, product selection and final installation were exactly what I hoped for based on the other reviews here. My biggest problem was making the final decision on the door handles! I appreciated the opportunity to see the some of the door selection in their showroom as it helped with the decisions. The gentlemen who installed the doors took the time to ensure that the frames and doors were hung correctly (without gaps); cleaned up their work area and answered any questions I had at the time. I am very happy with how the entryways look now and have already recommended J&E to another friend who is considering replacing her doors.

J and E installation did a great job installing a new sliding patio door on my home. The price was fantastic and their service and work was top notch! I would recommend them highly!

They were very polite and prompt when giving us an estimate, but delayed several times getting the actual job done and installed. They were harder to get in touch with during that time.

They do excellent work and its a family owned company. I found that they were very honest and upright. They have a great product.

I thought J & E Installation did a decent job. The serviceman did an efficient job, he was fast, and he did good work. He was a very pleasant person. One thing that bothered me was that during the initial meeting they didn't tell me that the threshold would be much higher. With the replacement doors the sills were higher and I stumbled onto that. I asked if they could fix that and he said that they do that occasionally and it cost me $2 more. I wish that had been quoted to me. The quality of the work was darn good. I went with them because they had a good reputation and price wise there wasn't that much difference between them and another company I talked with.

Jeff Esker came out and we walked through the home to assess window replacement. Jeff had some very good ideas on some window changes I could make. I took him up on them and love the results! There was a small glitch with the built in blinds that was NO fault of J&E's, but Jeff handles it professionally, expediently, and properly. We are very satisfied.

The work was completed on-time and on budget. They were very friendly when they came out to quote the job and perform the work.

They were quick and precise. I was satisfied with the work.
