They were very nice, and I would recommend them.

It went terrible! They have an ad running in the Angie's List magazines i receive and i feel this company should not be on the list.

It is an older home so there were a couple of snags but overall it went good

Travis arrived about 11 on a Sunday. Very impressed that he called me and said he could do the job on a Sunday (two days after I originally called to schedule the service). He completed the job at 7:30pm. First I want to praise what he did well. He asked if he had questions (until he didn't). He installed 10 door handles (replaced existing) and was meticulous. Did a good job installing knobs on bathroom /kitchen and Utility room cabinets (there were lots). He modified t-molds I had purchased as transition strips (my fault) so they would work (he removed the under mount and used finishing nails to put them in place). Through no fault of his own, this will not work in the long run as they have already started coming up but I appreciate him doing his best to make them work. What I didn't like. Wearing booties over boots and bringing a small vacuum to clean up really goes a long way to make a business look professional. I would suggest HandyPro subscribe to this practice. After Travis had installed the handles on drawers in the main bath, I asked that he mount them in the center (both across and up/down) of the cabinet when he moved on to the master bath. He mounted them all at the top of the drawers. When I noticed this I reminded him there were more drawers in the kitchen and he needed to mount them in the center of the drawers. Note: Kitchen drawers (large) required two handles be center across and in the center (up/down) of the drawer. He mounted all kitchen drawer handles again at the top of all three drawers. When I asked why he did this he said there was wood (thick) on the inside of the drawer so he couldn't mount them any lower. This was true for the top, more shallow drawer, but not the middle and bottom drawers. He knew this wasn't what I had asked but didn't even bother to tell me why he was going to do it the way he did. Then he moved to the other side of the kitchen where two small drawers remained. He put two handles on one small drawer. We didn't know he did this until he asked where we got them and offered to go get two more. I could live with the way he did the rest of the drawers (although I would recommend he use a template to be exact in the future), but two handles on a small drawer looks ridiculous. He said he was tired ... which I appreciate since he had already been there about 7 hours. We said we would get the hardware and install the two remaining handles ourselves but that we had no choice but to have him drill holes. So he did and moved on to finish the transition strips and we notice three holes in the last drawer. We said, what happened?? He said he was tired and he messed up. He's human and I get it but it was like he thought we wouldn't notice extra handles or holes in the drawers. That's what makes me angry. I have decided I can live with everything except two handles on two small drawers. I left a message for Joe this morning in hope that he will make this right for me. Either by sending someone out to fill the holes/sand/and stain the drawers and place the hardware (one handle) in the center of each drawer, or replace the face of each drawer and install one handle in the center. I am confident, based on the good review of this site, he will make it right. I should also note, Travis removed the charge for the drywall repair and took an additional $25 off because of his error. I did appreciate that gesture. I would recommend the company again, but will be sure to ask for staff who have actually done the work I requested.

A person came out for the quote, and actually quoted a competitive price. My issue with HandyPro is not the price. Rather, their professionalism leaves much to be desired. We decided to hire them, and a guy came to my house. I will say that it was raining that day, and true that cannot be helped. I don't fault them for that. However, it was what transpired after that really soured the situation. The guy that was at my house told me he could come back on a fixed date (let's say date X). Two days before Date X, I tried to confirm with him that he was coming. But no response. Date X comes, and no one shows up. I wait until two business days after Date X, and call the HandyPro office. A woman there told me they would investigate and return a call to me. Since then, I have heard absolutely nothing from this organization at all. I had a serious home improvement issue that I needed assistance with, and decided to hire this company. Obviously they can't be bothered to keep appointments. While I am not sure the reason, that really shouldn't matter. Recommendation: try to make your appointment with them when you know it will not rain for a while.

I needed a quote and did not hire this company; therefore, I can't rate them.

He was nice and he seemed like he knew what he was doing. It wasn’t cheap, but not expensive. They charge you for every minute. Some of the things had issues and some of the things were ok but overall it was good. They did ok to good job and the interaction was nice and we were comfortable dealing with them.

The first gentleman they sent out, I would give an F. They then sent out a new technician and he did an excellent job.

Omg! Matt is wonderful. Personable and on time. He has taught me a few things I didn't know about repairs. I am already working in collaboration with my son for several more estimates and repairs. Honest, hardworking and cost effective! Highly recommended!!

Not very well; handyman Matthew left a 3/4" gap that was unacceptable, even though I had called his attention to it! The next day I called Joe, the supervisor to get the work done correctly. Very poor communication between Joe and Matthew.

Great! Wallpaper border was most difficult to remove, but Jamy persevered and did a beautiful job removing it and painting the bedroom. Also removed old baseboard and installed new baseboard. Looks great. Looking forwards to him working on my next project.

We called to schedule an appointment for an estimate, then later in the day had to cancel. The contact person was rude and sarcastic. I'm glad now we had to cancel, because I don't like to do business with people like that.

I received the estimate promptly, but I have spent the past week trying to talk to the handyman to schedule the work and agree on solutions for the floor. I would contact the main office, they would tell me that they would have the handyman call me. For two days I never got a call. I finally got a call after repeated calls to the office yesterday and he said he was on the road and couldn't talk details and that he would be sure to call me back in about an hour. No call back, so I called the service this morning and cancelled. All they could say was they were sorry and that they don't do business that way. But, obviously they do!

Vern, The handyman showed up on time for both the quote and the work. He also called ahead both times to check. The work was done within the time estimate. Vern took care to keep the mess down and cleaned up afterwards. The final bill was within the estimate and he met me at the end of day from the another project to settle up. I definitely plan on asking for Vern again from HandyPro.

He was kind of frustrating. He didn't scrape the paint before he painted, so I had to have that redone. He installed my doorbell, but proceeded not wanting to make the adjustments for the bell setting that I wanted. He ended up doing it, but it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Very disappointed. You sent me an email saying to give you a call to schedule an appointment for a quote and then when I call you tell me that you are not working in that area. For the record the city was given to you on the original email. I guess I'm better off not having you do the work. You seem very disorganized. My phone conversation with one of your employees was not a real friendly one either.

I posted a job on angieslist. The company replied that they would be happy to provide an estimate. When I called, the receptionist said they would send the company's license (but they never did). I scheduled an in-home estimate. The craftsman was on-time, but unlike other potential installers he took photos instead of measurements. He was polite and very social. He said I would receive a quote that Friday. Friday I called and he changed the timing to Saturday. Monday I followed up and he changed the timing to Monday evening. I received the emailed quote Monday. I told him the quote was significantly (over 50%) higher than others. He said he'd contact me on Tuesday with quote adjustments. That didn't happen. He was planning to help me with a delivery on Wednesday evening. I decided to go a different route. So Wednesday morning I informed him of that. He said I would have the adjusted quote later that day. That didn't happen either.

HandyPro came on the scheduled date to perform the work and provided the electronic pictures of a before and after as had been requested. The pictures were not of the highest resolution but were clear enough to provide some insight into the situation that existed on my roof. HandyPro was however unwilling to negotiate the price of the job. Given the services provided and the time involved in the job, I believe this service was overpriced.

Someone punched a hole in the wall of my newly decorated home which was being listed by a realtor. I found a buyer and needed the wall repaired and some electrical outlet covers installed before closing. I still had paint leftover from the original job. The property was in another state. I asked a friend to meet the HandyPro rep at the house to explain the work to be performed. HandyPro was able to get the job done within the week.

Beautiful! Jamie was so pleasant and easy to work with. Even helped me move some of the heavier furniture. The job was completed in one day. The next day you can't even tell where the stress fracture was. So pleased. Looks great. Thanks HandyPro.

It was excellent! The guy came, he was timely, and he did a good job.

No one from the company gave me or sent me any estimates .

.The updated replacement doors were individually fitted to our existing (1968) door frames and molding. Steve did a great job installing and fitting, which was challenging on some of the doors. He made them fit very well and did a little modification on one door when I asked. Along with doing a great job, he was professional and pleasant. He also cleaned the areas where he worked each time. We opted to paint the doors ourselves, but they look great already. We are very pleased.
