. Joe told me he'd be at my house at 8 a.m., and he was there at exactly 8 a.m. Joe is the kind of handyman a homeowner apppreciates. He comes in, is very quiet, and gets to work. He had the entire job done in 3 days and did an excellent job.

Stan Smith showed up on time on 3/11/13 and immediately started working to get the bathroom ready for remodeling. He removed the toilet and sink in our 1/2 bath in our basement. He then roughed out the walls to get them ready for plaster board. Unfortunately, he had to wait for the plumber who was going to move the drain for the new shower. He installed the plumbing, toilet, sink and shower. The plumber did very nice work, hopefully he buys a watch with what he made on this project so he can show up on time. Enough about him. Stan and Mark finished the drywall, insulated the bathroom, redid the electrical, installed all the trim work, primed and painted (two coats) in the bathroom. Stan also installed a tile floor. Because the plumber was late everyday Stan's work was delayed. Stan was very concerned about customer satisfaction and actually worked on Sunday to complete the job. I would recommend Stan to anyone looking for good solid work.

I called him for an estimate ... he told me he wouldn't be a good idea for the work I was doing because it wasn't big enough. I do respect him for being that up front, but of course was a little disappointed.

They did me a favor to come out and do the work because they are out of my area. He came out and was a nice guy. Just lacked in plumbing. I don't blame him I blame the company because they sent out someone who is not plumber. He was very nice to me.

Michael Macunovich built me a solid oak bench that has compartments in the seats where you can store things and a table that exactly fits the kitchen dimensions with a fold out extension. Its beautiful oak and everyone falls in love with it.

The service was excellent. They were prompt and very professional.

The handyman arrived promptly and performed the service well. While HandyPro is not cheap, I saved money over calling a plumber and cabinetmaker.

Unbelievably happy with HandyPro Handyman Service Inc. Punctual, friendly, efficient and affordable! Unlike other contractors I've hired (with and without the help of Angie's List), the workman cleaned up after himself, engaged in personable conversation and asked if he could take my old parts to recycle them. I would absolutely hire this company again and I would certainly feel confident recommending them to family and friends.

The young man that came out seemed quite unsure of himself. Had to call his boss in the middle of the estimate, esp. after I told him I could print a coupon from Angies. They quoted me and outrageous amount of $600.00 with the $100.00 coupon applied. They said they had to replace 2 lines on one of the sinks, but it was still way too much money for the service. I found a handyman that works in my condo complex to do the work for $25.00 per faucet.

The job went very smoothly from start to finish. They were prompt with their proposal and met all the timing dates contained in the quote. Mike M., our carpenter on the job, was a pleasure to deal with and we appreciated his suggestions as to the size and location of the closet. We eventually requested a change to place the closet in a corner that contained a heat duct in the floor. They accommodated our wishes and built the closet around the heat duct and vented it through the wall of the closet with no problem and at a minimal cost (mainly for the added duct work). I decided to do the painting and the staining. They accommodated me by bringing the materials and giving me the time I needed before they came back to finish the job. The drywall work, finish molding and door casement work is first class. The best thing is that the closet looks like its been there from the beginning. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone considering remodeling job of any size. I know I'll use them again when the need arises.

We purchased a new dishwasher that could not be installed by the sullpier. HandyPro did the installation and even updated the plumbing connections.

Several companies were contacted. Two came to the house. One looked at job and left without even talking to my father. Handy Pro, not only understood the problem but also knew how to fix in the most economical method possible. My father was very pleased because he feared the entire window assembly was going to have to be replaced. Serviceman "Lee" was extremely professional and was able to order the necessary window parts and fixed. He even cleaned his work area to the point where it was cleaner than when he arrived. Now it's the best, most thermal efficient window in the house. I will be using Handy Pro again to make repairs to both my father's and my houses.

Did an awesome job. Seriously, was completely satisfied. The only area that was a slight bummer was the fact that he charged more than the estimate, and that was discovered when the invoice was distributed. Would have preferred to know about the change in price when it was discovered.

The worker arrived on time and worked consistently until the job was completed.

No one ever contact me or showed up for the appointment.

Arrived on time, rainy overcast day. Had to go and get some parts, very pleasant and seemed very competent. Appeared to be a hard worker. His wife was his assistant that day, and she was equally competent and pleasant.

I was happy with the office personnel but not completely happy with the handyman they sent. He didn't seem to work quickly and talked the whole time. His work was OK but one of the rods needed to be redone and leveled. (The date could be way off.)

Steve gave us an estimate and timetable, he and his crew did excellent work and finished on time. I plan to have them remodel my kitchen in 2113 and paint my living room. I would tell anyone who needs work done on their house to use Steve and his crew!

The guy was good. I wish I would have known the walls were sun damaged before I began the painting as it took a lot of paint to cover the walls.

Overall, it went ok. They came out and did an estimate, and then did the repair about a week and a half later. The price was reasonable, I got 4 quotes and they all came in at around the same price, so I do not feel like they were too expensive. The gentleman was very nice. He had the work done when he said he would, and actually did a different/better style repair then we had discussed at the estimate, and that made me happy because it meant I could step on the stair immediately instead of waiting 24 hours. Since the staircase leads up to my bedroom, this was good, and I appreciated that he was able to do this. He did a nice job of cleaning up after himself. There were a few things that irritated me. He turned on a bunch of lights to have light to make the repair (which was fine) but then he left all of them on after he left. Also, he never asked me about removing his boots in the house, which I would have appreciated (this is really being respectful of my home more than anything else). I didn't mind that he had his boots on when he was on the hardwood floors/tile, but at one point he walked across my living room carpet with his boots on. I was not happy about that because I had just had my carpet cleaned the previous day. The last thing is that he REEEEEEEKED of cigarette smoke smell. SO STRONG. I am very smell adverse at the moment and I had to step out of the house on a couple of different occasions because the smell was really strong and spreading throughout the house and making me nauseous. He left a while ago and it still reeks of cigarette smoke smell in here. Overall, I was happy with the job and I would call them again, but I would request a repair person who did not smoke immediately before coming into my home or outside during the job (in his truck) because the smell was just too overwhelming.

Job was not done to high prices

The price quote was much higher than two other competing bids that I received. What sold me was the willingness to call in other people with more experience. In this case, other HandyPro associates were called in with more duct experience. I'm glad that I chose experience over price - I am fairly certain that the unexpected complication (through no fault of HandyPro) would have stumped other handy-men. At the day of installation, the two installers discovered that the duct work would be much more complicated than originally expected. The two men didn't compromise and made sure that a good duct system was installed to properly fit with the unexpected in-wall obstacles. The two men stayed much longer than originally expected - a 3 hour job turned into a 7 hour job due to these unexpected complications. Nevertheless, they stayed to get the job done properly and well (much more important to me than getting the job done quickly) and stuck to the original price quote. To top it off, they fixed what appeared to be a factory defect with my range hood. Everything worked perfectly when all was done. That is integrity and honesty to me.

They didn’t allow enough time to do the job in one day as I requested. They did a good job, but too expensive.

He went to get parts for the kitchen cabinet and it took him 2 hours to grab the part. He had to help someone at Home Depot and that is why it took him so long. He replaced the part of the cabinet that helps the door swing open. He was very nice and pleasant. i asked him to check the faucet outside because it was dripping. He told me that it wasn't a big deal and to just tighten it up.

I needed some siding nailed back in place near by roof. The handyman came out and evaluated the job on a Friday. Originally the job was supposed to be done on Friday but due to extreme heat was done on the following Monday. I didn't need to be there. He left a billing sheet so I could call in the payment. He did a good job. I was neat, and just what I asked to be done. He was very polite and explained the job on Friday as well as the price.
