I've used Handypro in the past and had a great experience. This time was able to set up an estimate without any problems. Employee came out and was very professional. 5 weeks later (despite 3 phone calls) - no estimate, no word. Not sure if they are just too busy this spring, but 5 weeks isn't acceptable without at least some notification why

He did call, but we wanted the job done sooner. We even had to make special arrangements to be there.

IA handy pro man came out and met with my wife (since they were not very flexible on when they could meet with me after work). I can't remember the man's name that came out, but he was to send us a proposal the next day. A few days passed and I called the office to ask about the proposal. The lady that answered the phone called the estimator and the estimator told her (and she told me) that he was a little behind, but he would have a proposal for me tomorrrow. A week or so went by and still no proposal. I called the office and asked to speak to the manager. I was forwarded to his voice mail, where I left a message on how disappointed I was with his estimator's service and if he could call me back. No call back. I had used HandyPro from the Plymouth location in the past with good service, but this really disappointed me. To not return calls to potential or current customers that have an issue tells me a lot about a business.

I didn't end up using them as I completed the projects myself, but really appreciated their recommendation

Made sure new fan was working correctly, including getting the remote re-programmed to work only with new fan and not interfere with the other two that I have.

Company was extremely professional, prompt, attentive to detail. The original contractor who gave me estimate was unable to complete the job but a supervisor sent another crew (calling in advance to let me know). They worked 6.5 hours to demolish and remove the structure. My patio looks great!!!

They sent an estimate by email about a week after visiting my house. It looked correct, clear, and the price quote was fair. We were able to work out a day that was best for me. On the agreed day, the worker did not show up on time. I expected him at 8:00. At 10:00 he called and tried to reschedule the work for later in the week. This was after my voice mail, additional phone call and an email to the company. I insisted that it still be done that day and he offered 2:00. He showed up on time. I checked on the progress an hour or so later and discovered that some parts weren't being done correctly. He made the fixes and it looked like the job was complete. It took about 3 hours. The next day I discovered that a drain elbow was not correctly installed and would allow water to collect near the foundation. I decided I could fix it myself but the worker's boss called me that day to get my credit card information to pay the balance owed. I then decided to tell him there was a problem. He said he'd be over right away and would take care of it. It took him much more time than he expected, but he fixed the issue. A good thing because it was more trouble than I originally assessed. I'm happy with the results and still think it was a good price.

Contacted the provider, was informed immediately that they did not work in my area.. The problem with that is they noted that they covered the Wayne County area in their coverage area, my area in Wayne county is Detroit. They did not have any notes stating Detroit in Wayne County, they did not perform/provide services. I sent a reply back via email to the person that contacted me by email asking for an explanation, Never received a response.

All of the grout in my tile kept breaking apart and coming out. They came out and chipped out all of the rest of the loose grout and re-grouted the entire floor. Looks awesome. They were clean, efficient, and quick.

He showed up exactly when he said he would, and did the repairs quickly and efficiently. Very friendly and professional as well.

Came checked out loose siding. He the straightened the bent panels He nailed down all loose pieces.

Left work early for no reason! They never showed up and never called. Very unprofessional!

the handry pro rep arrived on time and on the designated day as promised. initially he wasn't sure if he could fix the problem but eventually was able to get the handle reattached. so far the handle is still firmly fixed to the over door but the handy pro rep did warn us that if it should fall off again it probably can't be reattached and a new handle will need to be purchased. the handy pro rep was professional and he took care of the problem.

Quick initial response time. Came out to assess the problem. Listened to my request for a particular gutter system replacement. Although they did not deal with the system I requested, they did provide a fix. Work was completed on scheduled day (earlier than expected) and was professionally done. Also took care of another gutter/downspout problem in another location on the house.

He didn't charge me for the service even though he certainly deserved it. He was pleasant and professional. I am completely impressed. I had to check the calendar to be sure this was a company doing business in 2014, not the good old days when people were nice!!!!

Very helpful, promptly returned my calls and offered invaluable assistance. They will certainly have my business in the furture.

Jay was great to work with. He provided me with all the details of what my options were and completed all the work in the time specified. They also accepted a groupon that I had which helped with the cost a bit.

The technician, Joe Awula, came out to do an estimate and told me that he would have to contact his boss about some of the work that I was needing to have done. The boss was out of town, so Joe said he would have to get back with me, but I never received a return call. I contacted HandyPro again a few days later and asked to work with a different employee. They sent John out and everything was fine. He was able to send me a quote, but again, I never heard back from them after that. I am disappointed that I had to go out of my way several times to get in touch with this company. I have decided to hire someone else.

Everything went well. all the people were professional and on time. the work was well done.

The day of my appointment, I was told the contractor the contractor would be at my home between 4:30 and 6:30 in the evening. I left work a bit early to get home to meet the contractor and then waited...and waited. 7:00pm rolled around and no one showed up. I called an left a message asking what happened. Sometime during the afternoon of the next day I finally got a call back and was told that the contractor said that this was outside of the scope of work that they performed and gave me a number for someone else. I found this fairly irritating as I feel if I didn't call and inquired about the no call-no show I wouldn't have heard anything at all. I am thankful for the referral to another company, but the whole situation could've been better handled by Handyman Pro.
