Delet Door, Inc

It went very poorly, which was surprising because I have been their customer for about 15 years. I only had two hours notice at 8 AM of their arrival on the first day with no idea they wanted to come that day at all. They began their work before even telling me they were at my house. I wasn't sure the adjustment of the storm door was ok, and I needed to go inside to ask my mother if she was having problems opening it- he became very ANGRY WITH ME!! When I got back to tell then it was ok, they were already getting into their truck without even a word of Thanks for my business! It was so outrageous I could not believe it!!! I wanted to ask them about my garage remotes and was obviously unable to do that, so I drove to their office. that same day. They had previously told me I could have them checked there, which I agreed to. HOWEVER, they did NOT tell me that by doing their work there, they were actually re-programming them, and that I would need to get on a ladder at home and re-program them again myself!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?? Absolutely NO communication. I told them I was unable to do that, and they would have to come back to my home to fix it. I stood there right in front of them, and they DID NOT TELL ME THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR THIS!! WHEN THE SERVICEMAN ARRIVED ON MAY 11, LO AND BEHOLD THE REMOTE WAS STILL WORKING- AND I DID NOT NEED THEM TO COME AFTER ALL! THEN, HE TOLD ME THERE WAS A CHARGE, AND THAT THEY LEFT ME A VOICE MAIL ABOUT IT. I DID FIND THE MESSAGE AFTER THAT- BUT I WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS UNTIL THEY WERE ALREADY AT MY HOME. I'M TOTALLY DISGUSTED AT HOW I'VE BEEN TREATED FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS. I DID NOTHING TO DESERVE THEIR DISGRACEFUL TREATMENT AND SUBSEQUENT CHARGE TO HAVE THEM COME TO MY HOME FOR THEIR OWN MISCOMMUNICATION AND UNPROFESSIONALISM. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR OVERHEAD- I'VE GOT OVERHEAD TOO. THE ISSUE WITH THE REMOTE WAS TOTALLY THEIR FAULT, AS MUCH AS I HAVE APPRECIATED THEIR COMPANY IN THE PAST, I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. ALSO, THE STORM DOOR WAS SCRATCHED DURING THE INSTALLATION, AND THEY DID BRING TOUCH UP PAINT, BUT THE WAY IT WAS APPLIED LOOKS SLOPPY.

Worker showed up at time promised removed old garage door and opener, installed new door and opener. He did the installation all by himself !

When the door was installed, the installer handed us a package with the garage keys. (See original review from this service below) The tech came, did the repair listed above, and left. After he left, I noticed some warning labels in the key packet from the original install. They were supposed to be placed on the garage door when it was installed. I called the company the same day the tech came out on 7/1, to informed them about this. They company informed me that the warning labels are not necessary for the garage door. I informed them that the warning labels need to be on the door for liability purposes and that it was important for the labels to be put on. The warning labels should have been installed at the original service and I still do not have any resolution. I called them again today, 7/9/15, and the woman I spoke with informed me that they would put them up when they are in the area next, but did not give me a date/time to expect them and she had no sense of urgency to get this resolved. Update: They have since come out and installed the stickers. I have adjusted the score of this review

I called them on day one and they didn't let me down. It was kind of an emergency situation. They were really good. They did a great job. They're very accommodating. They did a great job. They're fairly priced.

At first, there was a problem with the manufacturer of the door, but Delet handled the situation well. Thanks to them, we found another company that provided us with the door that we had originally requested. Furthermore, the installer was excellent, and we've had no issues with the new doors.

I am very thankful for Delet Door! I was on my way to work one day when I opened my garage door. It started to open and then all of a sudden dropped shut. I am a single female so there was no way I could lift that door all on my own. I called Delet door and they were at my house in just a few short hours! They showed up quick, found the problem (a spring had broke) replaced it immediately, had my garage door working so I was able to pull my car out. I highly recommend.

We were very impressed with Delet. Our original 1950s garage door finally bit the dust. They came out the next day after we called, had the most reasonable price and scheduled the install for that Saturday. We got an insulated door, new opener and they had to actually do some minor construction to prep our old garage all for $1200. The installer was professional and thorough and took away our old steel door for free. Great company. I definitely recommend!

They came out and show me the doors Delet had. The price was right on 3/12/14 they door was put up.

My garage door torsion spring broke on a Sunday morning. I left a message on their answering machine and was pleasantly surprised to get a call at 7 a.m. the next day. They arrived when promised and quickly had my door back in working order. I wouldn't use anyone else.
