They do a great job! Lots of our neighbors were getting roofs done in our area so we had multiple quotes from different contractors. Avalon was not the cheapest of the price quotes, but they were fair. Randy was friendly and was sure that our roof would be started the coming week. He even went as far as climbing back on our roof after taking his measures and holding his shingle samples up against the edge of our roof so we could select the color. Our roof ended up taking a few days to finish due to rain, but the crew leader kept us informed of what was going on. They finished months ago and I just called them to see if they have any extra shingles that match our home laying around that I may have to finish an outdoor Rabbit hutch I am working on. Not only did they provide matching shingles and the under layer they use as well for free, but they delivered it to my doorstep. Very pleased with that service.

We couldn't be happier with the job they did! When Billy Webb came over to inspect our roof, he was very professional and assured us it would be done within a week. When the crew got to our house, they didn't waste any time! Before I knew it, they were cleaning up. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive but the materials used were high quality as was the installation. I trust this company to ensure high quality work is completed on my home. In addition to having them install a new roof, I also had them replace an exterior door. Again, high quality product and work.

Let me be clear, they did a fine job on the roof, but there was gutter damage, awning damage and I cleaned up so many nails from yards .. I did expect some of this but once again, good job on the roof!

Technicians did an excellent job and cleaned up everything when they were done. One small leak was noticed with the first rain and they came out the same day I requested service. No problems since then.

I was highly impressed with Avalon. I reached out to them after having a contractor I hired tell me he was too busy to get to my job. I researched them on review sites and gave them a call based on their ratings. It was super easy to set up an appointment. Chris showed up to my home and easily identified the issues as I had a leak where my flat roof and pitched roof adjoined. He provided me very detailed information on exactly how Avalon would fix the problems. Everything sounded great, but I was worried with Michigan weather that I would be stuck in the same situation I was at with my previous contractor. NO. That didn’t happen. They acted fast and got to my pitched roof completed within days of signing. I was not home for the whole installation as I had to work, but received updates throughout the day from their roofing manager, Adam. He even gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him day or night if I had any concerns, which really gave me comfort. I arrived home from work to a roof that looked beautiful, all delivered materials were gone, and there was no mess left behind. My flat roof was completed until a month later. However, they let me know ahead of time that it was due to needing higher temperatures. Adam, again kept me informed as to when people would be arriving at my home. The best thing about Avalon is not that my new roofs look great, they got to my quickly, or that I have no more leaks, but the fact that they fixed a cosmetic dip on the corner of my home’s overhang AT NO EXTRA COST! A cost that I was originally quoted by another company at $6,000. This company is smart, honest, and truly goes above what is expected. I highly recommend them.

The workers did a great job on my roof when they showed up. The first crew was 2 hours late. They did work non stop til job was done. Had trouble getting the second crew started. They also worked non stop when they came. As for customer service from the main office it lacked communication. I had to call them to see what was going on. A two day job turned into a week. I would hire the workers again but not Avalon to get them there.

Quality of work was good. Installers were friendly and helpful

took a very long time to get the windows once they were ordered. Had trouble getting them to come out and installl too. Customer service sucked. Happy with the windows once installed.

My experience with Avalon Building Concepts was the worst I've ever had with any contractor I've hired. I believed in their polished sales hype & on Sept. 26th I signed a $24,300 contract for a porch to be added to the front of my house. I gave them a $12,150 deposit and was told that construction would start at the end of Sept. or the first of Oct. Even after repeated requests for a start date, I kept getting put off with endless excuses. Then I was told that they had under bid the contract and wanted more money, to which agreed. I still never got a start date. By Feb. I was fed up and requested my deposit back. The following June, I was again contacted by an Avalon rep. who wanted to re-bid the job. His estimate was nearly double the original I had contracted for nine months before. Clearly, there was no way I would ever contract with this company. This was a terrible experience and a bitter disappointment for me and my family.

Avalon Building Concepts, Inc. has and is the Absolute Best at what they do! Their crews came to put a new roof on our house and did a phenomenal job. From start to finish everyone from sales to building, to billing was awesome! You couldn't ask for a better organization to work with and We Highly Recommend them to everyone! We will be working with them again in the future. A+

Avalon was very good to work with, they provided great information, were very professional, handled the financing issues and the insurance company, provided a 50 year guarantee on the roof, completed the project quickly and did excellent work. I was also very happy to see that the workers used proper safety procedures and protocols while replacing my high steeply pitched roof. I highly recommend Avalon and will definitely use them again in the future should there be a need.

We are thrilled with the workmanship, quality of the product used and the professionalism of the work crews. We had Installation, windows, doors, and siding done. So happy and it looks great! I will use Avalon for any future work that we need done. Excellent job all around!

If they tell you it'll be done in two weeks, don't believe it. Mine took 6 weeks before they even started. Once they began , the work was done quickly and looks good. They had the roof finished about 12 hours before the first snow. Clean up was so-so. Most trash was taken away, but unused supplies and pallets were left, and I'm still finding nails (dozens of 'em) in the yard. Still, the job appears to have been done well (no leaks so far...) and the cost was very reasonable, so I would recommend them. Just wish they were more upfront about the time frame.
