Had a roof leak in the middle of the night on July 4th. We were planning on reroofing the house and installing gutters on the other 2 sides of the house this summer anyways. I emailed Avalon that night that I needed a quote for a new roof. The next day I was contacted by one of the ladies in the office. She said someone could stop by at 7 p.m. that evening. She also said it would probably be 6 to 8 weeks to schedule for the work to be done. Will Harris came by that evening and inspected everything. He found that the leak was coming from one of the vents in the attic and put a plastic tub under it for me. He quoted me a price comparable to ones I had gotten last year and told me that they would be able to schedule to have it done in a couple weeks. By the end of the week I was left a message to call and schedule the date of the job. I stopped by that day to drop off the deposit. I had a concern with the contract but Will was giving a quote and couldn't be reached. The owners personally came out and took care of the issue. One of them also scheduled the job for the following Thursday. The materials and dumpster showed up on Wednesday, the roofers were there the next day at 7:00 a.m. to start work and the dumpster was removed Friday morning. Will showed up about 9 a.m. on Thursday to check on things and said he'd be back at the end of the day to follow up. Before leaving he went to the neighbors on both sides of the house and left a card for them to contact him if any debris needed to be cleaned up in their yard after the job was done. That evening he inspected everything and cleaned up the yard some more. He also walked around the house with a magnet and got a few more nails. He said they would be calling in a couple weeks to schedule the gutters to be installed. I got a call August 2nd from Aaron asking if it would be ok to come by around 2 p.m. to install the gutters. Aaron and Eric showed up and knocked it out in a few hours. Two of the nicest guys to deal with. In fact, everyone I dealt with through Avalon was very friendly and eager to make sure you were taken care of and happy with their service. The reason I chose Avalon was because of the reviews. I know they can't please 100% of their customers and some customers just can't be pleased no matter what. The majority of the reviews are positive and that's exactly the kind of service I got from Avalon Building Concepts. I will be using them again in the future. Will also texted me after the gutters were done saying he will be doing a final inspection next week and address any concerns I have.

They finished in 1 day, which surprised me. Everyone (friends & Family) complimented how great of a job they did. Two different people came and checked the roof. They had to do a little more work on one area. No more leaks. Was very happy with the work.

They work hard. Very little communication from the work crew.

If anyone came back to check the job when it was completed, we haven't seen them.

Did not perform the job as bid. Had written in to the roofing project to install a new vent for my bathroom. Vent was not installed. For what was done, the quality appears to be good, but I won't know for sure until the next major rain or snow storm.

Very professional and efficient crew. Hard workers. Left the job site cleaner than it was when they started. Will came back several times to check on the work and make sure everything was OK. Highly recommended!

Avalon replaced our roof, the soffits and fascia and siding. The workmanship is outstanding and the quality of materials are far superior to any other company we got quotes from. Additionally, of the four quotes we got, ranging from $68,000 to $42,000, theirs was the lowest for the highest quality product we were shown. They were also super fast. We have a traditional two story house, and that is 2200 square feet, and they did the entire roof, including removing the old materials and replacing a lot of rotting boards, in a day and a half. They sided my house, wrapped all the trim and replaced the soffit and fascia in a week. The people we worked with from their salesman Chris to the workers they sent were kind, respectful and patient, answering all our questions and making sure the job was done the way we wanted it. We did not choose them because they were the least expensive, but because of the quality product that they offered and the other reviews we had seen. I wouldnâ t hesitate to recommend them to anyone or to use them again if I needed too

Lots if shingle pieces and some nails that werenâ t pick up around the house. Other than that it looks grear

I am still waiting for them to complete repairs to the damage done by their installers. As far as value that remains to be seen.

They made many errors, and it has been difficult to get them to come back and redo a good portion of the roof. They billed me and did not even complete the job. I have talked to them several times and still have not gotten good results.

Excellent! The roof was replaced and all cleanup accomplished in one day. This review is being written Two years after the roof was replaced and it still looks good as new.

Roof was installed in fall 2018. That spring, it started leaking. I called and left a message with no call back. Waited. Called back and got no reply. I had to call 6 times this past February alone before someone with the company would talk to me. They sent someone out to said it was not installed properly and they would fix it. They put in a service ticket. A month later, they still hadn t fixed it. Then, today, the owner told me it isn t their fault and it s outside of the warranty, they wouldn t fix it, and they told me if I wanted it fixed I ll give you a list of lawyers and you can see me in court . Why would their service guy admit it was installed incorrectly, they submit a ticket to repair it, only to later say it wasn t their fault and try to go back on it?

We had Avalon replace 2 leaky skylights on our back porch and were very happy with the job done. They sent someone with a few days of calling to look at, and quote the job. Their price was competitive or less than my 2 other quotes. The installer did an excellent job, worked well past dinner to finish the job. I would use Avalon again when needed.

Jason was a wonderful project manager and he was easy to talk to and understand what we wanted done on our roof. we had an issue with the roof and he was quick to find a solution.

Tyson was quick to notice missing shingles and provided excellent and friendly service. Everything was done in a timely manner and the new roof looks great!

Doug Draper was friendly and knowledgeable. We needed a slider and we got a great price from him, yet again. The installer was thorough and left our place nice and clean. We were pleased that after the job was done, they checked back with us to see if we had any concerns. Thanks again guys!

I bought a new house in June of 2019 and I absolutely hated the roofs faded shingles. I called Avalon not knowing what to expect, and Michael Thompson came out to my house to measure and get me some quotes. He suggested a partial Metal roof and walked me through the recess from financing to the installation. I Absolutely LOVE my new roof and so glad Michael Thompson helped me choose what would look best for my New home. Michaelâ s customer service is amazing. He helped ease all of my concerns & was available for all of my questions during the process.

The sales person did a teriffic selling job. The end result did not look like what was promised and they did not fix a roof leak as promised.

The Avalon crew arrived at 7am and got to work. Finished our roof in 1 day! We love it! All our friends and neighbors compliment the workmanship and speed of shingle installation. Thanks to sales rep chuck who is a man of his word. Highly recommend Avalon Roofing.

Upon completion I am 100% satisfied with the work done by Avalon. Salesperson Jason stayed in touch and administered several contract changes without any discrepancies. All did excellent work and Roger and Brad did excellent work on the house roof repairs.

I know it has been about 6 years since we had used Avalon, but, please continue to read. My hope is to save someone else from the problems I am now facing. We had Avalon come in and put all new replacement windows in, a egress window, siding on the front of the house, close off a door and install a new sliding glass door. The cover we wanted for the egress was supposed to be a hard-on and something you could walk on if necessary. Well, we received the cheap plastic one because they ordered the wrong egress. OK, deal-able. We had to call them out several times for a piece of siding that kept coming off. The finally nailed it when it should not have been nailed. We called them out because the slider was leaking onto the floor. They just added a bit of caulk, but never really checked it. M00y laminate floor was bowed and I could have had them replace it, but did not. The door must have kept leaking under the floor, but we were unaware as the floor was already bowed and we covered the area with a rug. We are now remodeling our home and pulled up all the flooring. Our slider is starting to tilt and our floor needs to be replaced from the leaking. I can almost put my finger through the floor! Another contractor told me that the seal between the slider and the house under the door was not installed properly. Avalon said that I had a lifetime warranty. Never said that it was not on labor. I called and the lady on the phone was quite rude and told me that my house was settling and it was my fault I did not check it and maintain it. YOU COULD NOT TELL FROM THE OUTSIDE! My home is 40 years old and I do not believe would be settling much more, and not enough to cause this problem in this time frame. Now I have to pay someone else to lift my slider and replace my floor. I hope and pray that there is no additional damage below the surface! Again - this was about 6 years ago, but still, should not continue to have problems - If we had not decided to put new flooring down, my slider would have went through the floor.
