We contacted Avalon after storm damage to our shingle roof. Excellent work crew. A fast, professional team that cleaned up the work site when finished. Most teams have someone in training. We overheard one team member asking if he had done something correctly. He had. As a retired member of a military team, I was impressed that he was not afraid to ask. The best teams succeed by communicating. The company scheduled the roofing for a very cold day--a high of 38 degrees. A former roofer told me that the shingles would not adhere properly, so my anxiety level was up. I trusted Avalon, but waited several days to verify how the roof handled a storm. So far, no problem even when trees were being toppled by winds. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

GREAT! Thought I had a flat roof leak (after 15 years, it really needed it!), so Jeremy came out and provided a wonderful new product. However, first storm and rain came pouring in... and the team came rushing back right away! Andy - who usually installs gutters for them - did not give up until he found the issue and it was on the slanted roof, not my flat roof. They did not try to rip me off by saying I needed a complete new roof, they just fixed it - and it was quite a fix! I also had a bit of a crazy design on my flat roof and a raccoon had taken over my soffit. In minutes, Jeremy had an idea to update that was in my budget and looks Fabulous! Wonderful job by all!! Then the fascia folks came out - found rot everywhere. Jerry and his awesome wife did all the fascia work... my house has never looked so good. Andy came back to finish up the gutters. Team was fast, professional and cleaned everything up very well. Jennifer, Laura and Nate in the office were tops!! I only gave 4.5 stars because they are a bit pricey...well worth the cost, however. I can't really complain. I will be hiring them again.

This company is a joke. They come in and give you some great sales pitch about how they can't be beat in price and quality and their customer service is second to none. From the moment that they dropped the materials off in my driveway in front of my garage and left garbage scattered all over my yard to all the debris and nails that they left all over the house- it was ridiculous. They replaced a piece of decking over my garage, and covered one of my vehicles with debris and nails all over the garage floor and didn't even bother to tell us or clean it up. We picked up shingles for 2 weeks after they left. They took our tv dish off the roof and had no idea where or how to put it back up, nor set up an appointment to have someone from the dish company come out and take care of it. We had to do that. They told us they would have a manager come out and see how things went- never saw them. Not even a phone call. I called and told them there were things that needed to be fixed. I was told they opened a work order and a crew would be out to correct them. Never saw anyone and they wouldn't return our calls. We hired this company based on the reviews on this site- must have been fabricated from the experience we had!!! Hackers!!

Honest and upfront about everything. When finished I handed the installer cash like I said I would but was distracted and forgot to ask for a receipt, this was a Friday just after five. I realized what I had done Saturday and called and left a message. They said,"yes, paid in full. We'll mail you a receipt." I was very thankful I had honest people doing the work at that moment. That man could have easily taken my cash and vanished or said "what cash?" They a great job, and did exactly what they explained before I signed so no surprises.

The service was not performed. They never got back with me to set up install. I called them after a month of not hearing from them. Was told they would soon call to set appt. with me. After another month of NO communications from Avalon. I called cancelled & request my deposit be refunded. After several calls, I finally received my deposit back. I feel that this company has terrible customer service, and I do not recommend.

The crew was very friendly, a lot of fun Our eating area used to be much cooler than the living room. Johnny showed us that it was 55 degrees in the eating area, and now it is 68 like the rest of the house.

The roof had been slowly leaking for a couple of years. We went with Avalon because of the reviews that we saw online. Everything has worked out fine so far.

Excellent quality windows. Installers were the very best. Dave and Greg (the installers) were terrific. Went out of their way to make sure we were totally satisfied with the entire job. Great customer service from Jennifer.

Good value, only took one day

Service professional was very professional and timely. He said "Yes sir." "No sir" Took off some siding and put some flashing underneath it to divert the water.

Had leaking on the roof, couldn't get the original company to come out. So I asked my church who to use and they recommended Avalon. They have customer service nailed. Everybody was great. I would highly recommend Avalon.

The team showed up promptly in the morning and worked hard all day, completing my enormous roofing job in only 1 day! The roof looks beautiful as well. The customer service was great- very friendly and informative, though sometimes they did not return my calls or texts until a few days later, otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars. I felt the price was a little high, though we were paying for the better warranty and the faster, more efficient team, so for the most part it was worth the cost. Overall, we were very pleased with the roof replacement and would definitely recommend Avalon Building Concepts to others and consider them for future projects on our home.
