It was originally expected to take 2-4 weeks to get the door in at the company. It was already in stock so he was able to perform the installation sooner than planned. The gentleman said it would take approximately 3-4 hours to install and he finished it in that amount of time. He performed the entire job by himself.

Prompt response. Initial visit: Garage door made safe and able to open and close. No charge. Estimate received shortly thereafter. Garage door replaced day after estimate accepted. Both technicians were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend this company! Judy C Okemos

Contractor answered call first time, no need to leave a message, and they came out same morning I needed them.

Came on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. Service people were both professional and friendly. Finished in approximately 25 minutes. While I was completely satisfied by the work, thought the price was a little high for the small amount of effort involved to fix the problem. It would not stop me from calling them again.

Initially, they replaced the garage door. They were excellent. They showed up when they said they would. They did what they said and gave us options different options to choose from. They were reasonably priced.

Overhead Door Company of Lansing do what they say they are going to do at a fair price, they provide excellent service, and they are punctual.

They did a good job. They've always been great when they've been at my house. I was told it would be a $95 service fee, which included the first hour. It only took him 5 minutes and I provided the ladder for him. They were going to charge me the full fee, and I called his boss and discussed this situation with him. They dropped the fee down to $50, which I thought was nice.

We called overhead door to inquire about replacing our broken garage door. The service rep said he would have the sales guy call us back, this never happened. We had to call back a couple times to schedule an appointment. On appointment day we waited until a half hour after the appointment and then called to find out where the rep was. The informed us that he had to leave for an emergency appointment, which is fine, but it seems someone should have called to let us know our appointment was canceled. It really felt like they did not care to put forth any effort to get our business, so they will not. Their products may be high quality but the service is very poor, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They were able to send someone out the next afternoon. When I made the appointment they gave me an hour window (3-4pm), I let them know later would be better. Tech called me when he was about 10 minutes away at around 3:30. Took a little over an hour to replace both springs and make sure everything was working. It has been about a month and everything is still working.

The best thing to do is to get at least 3 estimats and anyone who specializes usually relies on Angies list for good reports and this company uged me to report my story. It is two separate garage doors that are made with very thin metal and they repaired just the broken panels and then installed overhead struts for both doors so the bending of the doors will not happen again.The struts certainly should have been placed in the beginning.

It is absolutely fabulous. I wouldn't have it any other way now. Things worked out well. I will use them again in the future.

Very well. Had requested a two-light opener. They brought out a one-light opener and installed it to keep me going. When the proper opener came in, they immediately replaced it. I was not billed until all work was completed to my satisfaction.

They came out quickly and did a fine job.

My brilliant daughter backed into the garage door which knocked it off the track and dented the door itself. I called Overhead Door and they sent a repairman out that afternoon. I was concerned that they were going to try to tell me I needed an entirely new panel but instead he banged out the dent as best he could and also got the door back on its tracks. We decided to live with a slightly dented door and he put no pressure on us to replace it. No parts were involved so we were charged only for the service call (which was quoted to me on the phone). I have used Overhead in the past and would use them again.

I spent $225 on the job. They were a little late. Rather than repairing the door well, they more or less thatched the job. It was satisfactory. I will use them again in the future, only if required.

The installation was done very professionally without much delay. When I called back this month to ask about a "key chain" remote, however, I never received an answer.

The man to give the estimate was late, I called the office and he was there (I think he forgot) but he promptly came after that. Estimate was read off a piece of paper, according to size, and what I needed. We set up an appointment for installation. The installer was prompt, polite and efficient Door works fine, no complaints.

I called the company shortly after they opened on Monday 5/17/08 and told them my torsion spring on a double light-weight garage door had broken and I wanted them to replace it. The agent asked if I wanted one or both springs replaced. He quoted the replacement on one at $155.00 and the replacement of both for $180.00. I chose both. I advised I would leave the pedestrian door of the garage open and asked him to repair the door during the day even though no one was home. The repair person arrived at 3:05 PM the same day and left the bill which I paid through the mail.
