Description of Work: He arrived shortly after I called. |He replaced hinges, and pounded out vents; oiled the hinges and did other minor adjustments. |The garage door now is very much better - repaired in every way.

Description of Work: I was expecting to need a new coil roller or even a new opener. But the problem turned out to be the opener getting stuck on a bolt that had come loose. I only had to pay for the service call. They also lubed the door track for me.

One day out of the blue a link broke in the chain our opener uses to open/close the garage door. After a few web searches for reviews I decided to call Tim at Dexter Garage Door. Tim came by a couple of days later when his schedule permitted and replaced the broken link in the chain. He also lubricated the hinges and the tracks, telling me I should be doing that every three months. I'll be calling him again to install a new opener I just bought. From what I've read online, do-it-yourselfers are taking 6 to 8 hours for the installation. Tim said he'll be surprised if it takes him more than an hour. We'll see!

They did a very good job and I was very pleased with them. They were very prompt at coming out to give us the estimate the price was good. They also provided us with alot of feedback as well.

We called them at 7 or 8. The guy said he was not doing anything and he came out. We were basically trapped; our cars were stuck in the garage. I don’t know how I would have gotten to work the next morning. It was a huge deal he came out that night.

Tim was extremely quick. I called him and he was able to come over in about 25 minutes and did the work in about a half hour. He was very friendly and willing to explain what he was doing and why. I would recommend him since he is responsive and does quality work.
Description of Work: I had the two torsion springs replaced on my 2 car garage door. Tim replaced them with 20,000 cycle springs.
