Overall it went extremely well.

They did everything that they were supposed to do, right on schedule, and cleaned up afterwards. Their price was much lower than the other estimate I got. I would happily use them again.

It was a great experience. These guys were also very nice cooperative and gave me the chips after they ground up the trees.

70 foot maple tree had split. All limbs were cut and tree was chopped into pieces. Branches put into shredder for wood chips. Very professional job from start to finish. We also asked for another tree to be trimmed while they were on site and they were able to do it. Good crew. We would hire them again for sure.

I've used a large landscaping company to do the same work, but have never felt that I was more than just the next customer on the list. I don't feel that way with Majestic Tree Service.

At his advice, I took a sample to MSU to get a diagnosis of what was wrong with my tree and he told me how long to wait before having anything more done to it.

They were prompt and on time. They were very friendly and were competitively prices. They did very good work efficient. My property wasn?t damaged from the work and they were very thorough.

This was my second time using this company. I called them up on a monday, received a quote the following day and had them on site by Friday. Removing the dead ash tree was a bit tricky. The tree was located on the property line, between my shed and the neighbors garage. To make matters worse, the tree had grown around an old fence, meaning the tree could not be taken down to ground level. The guys removed the tree in sections, without damaging my shed or the neighbors garage. They had to leave a 4 feet of the tree on the stump due to the fence. But, that was expected. In the front yard, they trimmed up two large silver maple trees. On one tree, they removed a large limb hanging over the house. On the other tree, the trimmed branches away from wires. For both trees, they raked up twigs and sticks that fell during the process. In all, a very professional job done by very skilled and very professional workers. Highly recommend.

I was very happy that Jon listened to my concerns about the damaged branches and immediately tried to alleviate the problem, successfully removing the dangling limbs over my neighbor's driveway. Because of all the severe weather this summer, there was a backlog of people needing tree services this summer. Jon was able to fit me in early the following week, phoning me on Monday to let me know he'd be there the following day and I could leave a note for my neighbor to not park in the driveway so Jon would have access to the tree. When I got home from work Tuesday, the tree looked great -- thinned out with no more deadwood hanging over my driveway or the neighbor's. Jon even managed to avoid mashing my struggling roses trying to grow about five feet from the tree.

Jon stopped by to meet us before performing the work and gave us a full explanation of what he planned to do. He arrived on time and completed the job as promised. He also did a great job cleaning up afterwards. The tree looks great and I highly recommend Majestic Tree Service.

I had a great experience with Jon and his crew. They didn't waste any time getting started. They removed the elm tree first, and then trimmed up some smaller maples, before tackling the 2 large maples. Jon was amazing in the trees. Hanging from ropes, 40 feet in the air, with the chainsaw in one hand, cutting branches. His cuts were perfect, which is what I would expect from someone who is a certified arborist. Jon also has top of the line equipment, which makes the job easier and highlights his professionalism. At the end of the job, the crew cleaned up nicely, by raking all the small branches in the yard. And, Jon asked if I would like to have the wood chips. So, I took the chips off his hands and plan to spread them around the yard. This was a great experience! I wholeheartedly recommend Jon and plan to have him trim silver maples trees at our rental house later this year.

That's not the same as root feeding where they go around and inject things in the soil. Jon Stauffer is an arborist and he is superb. I don't know how much I spent because my secretary pays the bills. They are reliable. He has got a degree from Michigan State University and that's a major horticultural university known worldwide as they have a superb program. He is well-educated. He is an extremely nice person. He knows my property now well enough to know when some things need to be done, or if I call him and tell him about some branches that need to be taken care, he comes through and takes care of them easily. He has even gone up to my cottage and done a tremendous amount of removal of dead trees and dead limbs. That was pretty nice of him. I have a lot of specimen trees and I have a couple of really lovely sculptures. Whenever he is taking a tree down or limbs down, he will climb the tree. There is no cherry picker in my backyard. He comes in, he climbs the tree, he ties off the part of the tree he is going to cut and he lowers it to the ground exactly where he wants it. I don't know anybody else that would do that.

He was very friendly, punctual and informative. We decided against trying to save our river birch and had the tree taken down instead. He took the tree down quickly and professionally, and chipped the tree and branches.

He is exceptionally good at his job. He wants the trees to maintain their beauty. He climbs the trees and ropes off the limbs to prevent damage from falling. He is a good diagnostician. He is extremely meticulous. He is full energy and he is really great to have around.

It went great. The removal and trimming took less then a day (they showed up sometime after 8:00 and were gone by 4:00) and everything looks great. They came back a week later to grind the stumps. Overall I think they did a great job and we got what we paid for.

Excellent service. The workers are prompt, professional, honest, courteous and completely cleaned up the debris.
