They are very careful, do good quality work, right on time and I think they charge a fair amount for the work. We would use them again if we still lived in the area.

Jon and his crew arrived in the morning and after clearing a foot or so of snow to get to the trees, they cleaned up fallen limbs, trimmed our 80 shagbark hickory and then cut down our 85ft Siberian elm tree the was destroyed by the ice. They accomplished this in one day and cleaned up all of the area where they worked.

Majestic Tree got the job done promptly and professionally. Our acreage looks SO much better now.

Provider came out to look at trees as promised. Was timely and professional. Provided a tentative diagnosis and gave trees an injection.

We had hired Jon of Majestic to remove a pine tree from our front yard about 12 years ago. It went well; he came when he said he would, and did a great job. So naturally, we got a quote over the phone from him again to remove our pear tree that had been knocked over (into the neighbor's yard) by that windstorm in November. After calling around to get quotes from other tree services, we decided to give our business again to Jon. I got a hold of him and we set up a date and time for him to come to remove the tree, which was about a week later, since he was understandably very busy due to windstorm clean-up in the area. The day before he was scheduled to come by, he called to say that due to the weather, which was rainy/snowy and cold, he had to cancel, but was willing to re-schedule if we wanted, which we agreed to do, for a date less than a week later. Once again, the day before, he called again to cancel (I don't recall if it was due to the weather again, or if he wasn't feeling well), and said he would re-schedule for us. We did so for the following Friday, and this time he called the day of to say that he and his crew had just decided to take the day off for a long weekend, and wouldn't be coming to remove the tree till the following week. I was livid! Our neighbor, meanwhile, was getting a bit nervous because they had hired someone to come to install a new tree in the same general area where ours was laying. Ultimately, I called Jon and left a voicemail to say that we were taking our business elsewhere, and would no longer require his services. We were very surprised at Jon's overall attitude about his unwillingness to fulfill his commitment. After the third excuse, I had the impression that he really wasn't interested in getting and keeping our business. We like to support the local businesses, but we ended up giving it to another who was out of the area. Very disappointing... We won't be considering Majestic again.

Did a great job trimming a big maple overhanging the house. Cleaned up thoroughly. Very professional.

John came out and inspected the job on the Friday before the service. He gave me an estimate the next day. I hired the work and he scheduled the service to occur when the ground was dry so it would not be as badly damaged when the very large pieces of the honey locust was cut down. He hauled away the tree and cleaned up the yard. His work was very professional and very good.

We had a bad winter storm with very high, sustained winds. There were limbs and debris all over the back yard. Majestic came in and cleaned up all of the debris and limbs. Large branches were cut into firewood sized logs for our use. Some trees had to be trimmed and other branches that were hanging but still attached to the tree had to be cut off. They were fast workers and very professional to work with.

Overall excellent. He came a quoted, gave suggestions, performed the work and cleaned up. What else could I aske for? He took down 7 trees, found and cut down an 8th dead tree and trimmed two others. All branches were removed and cleaned up. The trees were 60 feet tall pines that were mostly dead and very close to the house. There was no damage to any part of the house.

I emailed the business via the contact in i on Angies list and it took them literally a month to get back to me. They did end up coming out and giving me a quote, which was competetive, but I will go with a more responsive company.

Very good service and a reasonable price. They are quite good at cleaning up the remains and leaving the worksite in good condition. They are quite busy so it pays to schedule in advance.

Job well done! I would definitely use these services in the future. I was informed along the way given that I scheduled the service during the winter. With a wet Spring, services were delayed but to no fault of Jon's. Once the ground was dry enough to run the equipment on, the work was completed.

We've worked with Jon before; excellent resource for tree info. We had a topped (dead) tree that had fallen in a storm a few weeks ago that we needed removed. There was a bit of phone tag on when he'd be able to get it done. He called and said he could removing it the morning of service and sent 3 workers out. They made quick work of cutting it up (less than an hour), raked up any chips and brush that had accumulated and hauled it away.

From my initial phone call to request an estimate, to the day of the estimate, through the day the limbs were removed, all Majestic staff members were professional and friendly. The arborist did not try to sell me services I didn't ask for or need. They were on time, efficient and cleaned up all the debris created by the tree work. All in all, an excellent customer experience.

The owner and three workers plus a cherry picker truck, and belted traction skid steer with a claw type front loader, a high capacity brush and log grinder as well as a large catcher unit made up the operation they brought to our property. They started at 9am and were finished by 5:30-6:00. They did not have a large area to work in as our lot is only 66x133ft and most of it is occupied by our house, attached garage and attached deck. Also complicating the issue, Consumer Electric lines and Comcast lines ran thru 4 of the trees in the front yard. They proceeded to take down the trees in a methodical manner grinding up the top half of most of the trees along with the branches. The larger parts of the trunks probably 16 inches or greater were loaded on to a trailer and hauled away seperate from the chips. The crew raked up and removed smaller branches and pine cones, etc. as they finished an area. We were definitely happy with the work they did and the professional manner in which it was done. We are also pleased that Angies list provides a process to find the best people to provide a variety of services.

I couldn't be happier with this company. Jon answered all questions and shared ideas he had. What a pleasant experience overall. He was on time and cleaned up well. A+ company all the way. I would recommend Majestic to anyone.

I appreciated the service given. The owner was always very easy to talk to and work out arrangements with. They did an excellent job and cleaned up well after themselves. The service ended up taking longer than anticipated, but for us that was not a problem. I would readily recommend the service.

They did an excellent job of that and the other tree trimming. They are knowledgeable arborists. We have a lot of trees on our property. They were respectful of our property and cleaned up the mess. They also were very knowledgeable of what they were doing and for any questions we had regarding things such as eliminating invasive species and advice on what kind of trees to plant in an area where Ash borers had killed trees. I didn't really do a lot of comparison but I think for what they did, their pricing was fair. I couldn't really tell what another company would have priced on the particular trees. I think their prices are probably really fine. You can get different prices according to the kind of company you are dealing with. I just went on the previous work that I had done by Majestic and comments by a neighbor about how good they were and how fair their prices were.

Jon did an excellent job talking down the trees safely, he painted out a very nice redbud for our front yard! the price was right!.

Great! Except for a little sawdust, you would never know they had been there. They not only cut the damaged tree, but raked my lawn afterwards and even cut off a remaining stump from another tree that came down earlier in the winter at no additional charge. Overall, the owner of Majestic was personable, professional and made sure the job was completed to may satisfaction. They completed the work in keeping with their estimate and their estimate was the best I was able to find. Without question, I would use them again.

Overall, Majestic Tree Service has helped me over the past three years. I initially called John for help with an ash tree I am trying to save--and he's doing a great job-- but he has also fertilized and trimmed my trees. I particularly like his patience with me and his willingness to explain what he's doing and why. I feel like he cares as much about my trees as I do!

He is a certified arborist. We have had him do some work for us in the past. He knows what he is doing, so he comes out to trim out cherry tree. When we need him to come right out, he comes right out.

Jon and one other person came out over two days and did a wonderful job. He answered all my questions and addressed each concern. All debris was ground up and removed, and my yard looked great afterwards. Although the job cost more money than I had hoped, his price was spot on with the other services I have gotten quotes from in the past. Plus Jon is easily one of the nicest people to talk to and work with. I am very happy with his services and will definitely call him in the future should I have need.

The entire crew worked well and un-intrusively, and the service was exceptionally reasonable in price. When asked, they left the wood chips piled at the side of our driveway for us to use as mulch. I wrote Jon a note with my payment check telling him that I would be happy to recommend him to any and all prospective customers. If I ever need tree work again, I will call Majestic and only Majestic.
