Moved in a Condo recently where previous owners had 3 cats and it smelled like thats where they were kept most of the time. The carpeting in the basement looked pretty new and very plush. I was going to tear it out and replace it but a friend of mine who always uses Sun-Glo, said I should give them a try. Figured worth a shot. The Tech came out and cleaned, sanitized and deodorized the carpet. He explained that unless the carpet is actually pulled out that cant really tell if the Cat's urine went all thru to the pad or not. He agreed that it was too nice of carpeting not to try to save it instead of throwing it out. I did pay extra for the sanitizing. Unfortunately, I can still smell the urine in the carpet. Its better than what it was but I can still smell it. So, after all that, I will eventually replace the carpet, sooner than later I am hoping. Painting and getting new carpet upstairs currently.

Polite, courteous and did a good job. $231 was a bit pricey...($181 plus $50 extra for stain protection), but I guess you get what you pay for. I would use them again...probably without the stain protection.

I am VERY environmentally conscious, so I asked that they turn the inflow of their chemical compound as close to OFF as possible. I was required to sign a waiver form indicating that I understood that it was possible that, as a result, some stains that would otherwise have been lifted might remain due to the lack of chemicals. Even without chemicals, the carpet and furniture came out very well; there were only perhaps 2 stains (one which was red ink) which did not come out, which was to be expected. The gentleman who came out worked quickly and efficiently and did a great job. If I have one complaint, it is that they do not send out two people on their jobs so that some of my heavier furniture could have been moved and cleaned underneath (perhaps not my piano (!), but my queen bed, dressers, etc.).

I contacted SunGlo after reading reviews on Angie's List and it was a pleasant experience overall. When I spoke to people by phone, they were very pleasant and accommodating. I made the appointment on Thursday, requesting Friday, but it was already booked up so I scheduled for a later day. Realizing I had a doctor's appointment that day, I called back and SunGlo said they would work me into their schedule on Friday. I was expecting to get a later date, not a sooner date, so I was grateful for that flexibility. My sofa and love seat look practically new and feel great. The technician who did the actual cleaning was very professional and courteous. He was fast and efficient, and provided tips on how to keep my furniture looking beautiful. Their pricing was very competitive. It was $88 for the cleaning, and $18 for a Teflon coating.

Provider responded to my email within 12 hours. I needed a quick turn around (contacted them Thurs for service on Sat). They were able to accommodate that. Carpets looked great when they were done. he noted any permanent damage on the carpets, like snags and holes. No reason not to use these guys.

Scheduling an appointment was easy as Olga gave me a few dates to choose from. I told her it was a 20 x 20 room and 12 steps. She quoted a price of $67 for the room and $24 for the steps to total $91. The night before the service appointment I received a phone call with an appointment window in the afternoon. The tech (was it Jason?) called in advance to say he could come earlier, which he did. He arrived with a truck-mounted steam cleaning system and brought the hoses in through the front door and down to the basement. Our room was straightforward- a basement recreation room empty of all furniture (except one long buffet) with dark commercial style carpeting in it-- plus the stairs. He spent a decent amount of time in the room and on the stairs working methodically to try to remove any trouble spots. I was pleased with the service. My only dissatisfaction came from the discrepancy between the estimate of $91 and the final bill of $119 ($89 for the room and $30 for the stairs). I did have 13 stairs instead of 12, so I can understand that would change but the room really is 20 x 20 as I had told Olga. I didn't have my notes with me (at the other house) so I only mildly protested, thinking I must have remembered it wrong. I can only assume Olga made a mistake when she quoted me the price or she input it into the invoice incorrectly. Nevertheless, I would recommend Sun-Glo.

The carpet cleaning went fine. The furniture was damaged, however, the owner responded very quickly and promptly. He helped with covering the cost of replacing the furniture. He assured me this had not happened before and was an isolated case. We appreciated how quickly he handled the situation when we were not happy with the results.

The young man wet and brushed the furniture and attempted to clean it. He then said it was too dirty to clean, I have never heard such a thing. I wish he told me that before he wet it.

Called Sun Glo because of the good reports on Angie's list. Noticed they had been in the business for 30 years so I thought I would give a local company a chance. Have used Hagopian in the past. I was very satisfied with the results. Joe did a very good job. Better than I had ever received from Hagopian. The owner told me when I placed the call that I would be completely satisfied and would never use another company, and he was right. I paid $150 (carpet cleaning was only $117, but I got 2 rooms scotchguarded). My carpets hadn't been cleanded in about 3 years so they were pretty dirty, but Joe got the job done. Thank you Angie, because without your recommendation I would not have tried this company.

The experience I received with SunGlo was superb. I had a real hard time with Modernistic, and SunGlo was able to fit me into their schedule at a convenient time, and the work they did was fantastic. I am going to use them for everything going further. They made a customer for life with their professionalism, workmanship, and price.

Everything went great. Tech was on time (in fact, called ahead to tell me he was on his way). He did twice the job as the prior company I was using. The carpets looked so good when he was done. This is definitely my new company.

SunGlo was amazing. After our debacle with Modernistic, we called SunGlo. Should have called them first! It was easy to schedule an appointment, the tech was very polite, punctual, and did an excellent job. The carpet looks brand new! Thank you SunGlo!

When I called to schedule the appointment the tone of the person anserwing the phone was less than desirable, (maybe a plum day)! I've used this company before with a very positive experience, and this is why I chose this company again.

I was pleased with them. They were helpful on telling me how to keep it clean.

They went out of their way for us and came out on a Sunday morning. Henry got here on time and has to be one of the nicest people I've ever met. He was very thorough and worked his booty off cleaning our carpets. Our dog had been sick and made a mess throughout one of our rooms so we weren't sure if it was going to come out. He got every last spot out of the room. I highly recommend SunGlo and if we ever need something cleaned again we will definitely call them.

Used them yesterday for carpet and upholstery cleaning (couch and love seat.) Used a coupon from a flyer so got 5 rooms, hallway and upholstery for $210. Good value. Very happy with the job they did.

Did a great job. Will hire them again.

A gentleman by the name of Joe came out and cleaned the carpet in 1-bedrooom, hall, stairway and living room. we needed it cleaned in order for us to get our security deposit back. there were some pretty serious stains that he got completely out !! He ended up saving us a lot of money and a lot of time by doing an excellent job. I highly recommend SunGlo.

Employee (Jason) arrived on time, was pleasant, checked the area to be cleaned and immediately began work. He completed the job efficently and the carpet looks great!

On time and worked fast enough, BUT my carpeting was much damper (almost wet) when finished AND when it finally dried it was not as clean as when I had used other cleaning services.

They were suppose to call the day before with the starting time, I waited until 2:00 PM then called for the starting time, I was told they would be there around 1:00 PM. The next day I cat a call around 11:00 AM saying they were running late and would arrive between 1:00 and 3:00. Around 2:00 I got a call saying they were on the way to my house, they arrived after 3:00. The technician was friendly and apologized for being late, one he started it took about 1.5 hours to complete. Except fot the delay in starting I would recommend SunGlo and will use them in the future.

I had to sign a release because the fabric on the sectional required only solvents, but the test worked well and the final job went well. I was pleased.

Called for appointment, left message and was called back that day. Discussed price and appointment availability. SunGlo came out within a week (could've been sooner, but time worked for me). Received a call the day before appt confirming time. On day of appt, was called when they were 15 minutes away. Jason was great. He worked efficiently and did a great job. Carpet looks new! Was asked if I wanted Teflon protector at additional cost but was not pushed into it. Did add it to my family room as it gets lots of wear and tear and stains.
