They were really thorough. They came out a couple of weeks before hand, drew down the cable, and showed us the areas to stay away from. They came and did what they said they were going to do. I wasn’t home and they worked with my husband but so far everything has been great. It is working as it was advertised. The price was the same. They were very thorough at what needed to be done and to answer our questions. They worked quite well with my husband on what to do and how to go about it. We followed the directions and everything has been fine, we are totally trained. They covered a large area, the price was pretty comparable, and over the years, it has become a lot cheaper than it used to be, so we got what we were expecting.

Some of the fence was not buried as agreed, but once it was explained to us why, we were mostly content with the explanation.

Great experience! John was our installer. He came in, explained what to expect and got to work. Once he was finished he took me through the training program. It took about 2.5 hours start to finish.

The installation was very good. The problem is the provider sold it with a life time warranty against breaks in the line. When we had our first line break it took two months for the company to respond. After the next break they never responded forcing me to hire another company each time which has cost me several hundred dollars. Beware this company has gone under the the name safe bethiddenfence and safe pethiddenfence.

Great supplier! Michigan Hidden Fence got back with me right away - had pricing and installed promptly. The install was quick and painless. He was here on time and installed (1/2 acre) in less than 2 hours. Gave me a run down on the use of the hidden fence and said he would come back once we got a puppy for a refresher. Great pricing compared to others. Would definitely recommend Michigan Hidden Fence.

I actually forgot about the appointment. The service tech arrived and with limited input, repaired several broken connections and activated the hidden fence. I only spoke with him briefly, unfortunately, and he received conflicting information from someone else at the house, so he didn't stake out the yard as I requested. No biggie since the dogs were used to the area, however I needed the lawn guys to know so no more lines got cut. The company did leave me plenty of flags to stake out the area if I wanted to. There was also some confusion as to the collar batteries and if the collars were working. I put a call in to the company and was assured that new batteries had been installed in the collars. All and all, we are satisfied. Our dogs are staying in the yard and are no longer roaming. Mission complete!

They were phenomenal. Another provider quoted me $2600 initially and then went down to $1600 when I refused. I called up Michigan Fence and they came out, they gave me a price, it was fixed, and they came and did the work perfectly. They were great. I'd recommend them very highly. The first thing that stood out about them was their price. And they were professional, did the job quickly, and were very easy to work with.

I found the company to be very customer focused. I received the initial call from Randy (on Tues afternoon), who discussed my needs and offered his advice on what he felt would best suit my needs. He did not try to upsell me and was happy to answer all the questions I had. He was extremely polite, professional and knowledgable. I had just moved into a new home that backs onto woods and with an older Cairn terrier, I was looking for a solution that did not interfere with the natural look of the area. Due to needing the utilities company help with marking out the location of all underground power lines on my property, we set the installation appointment for 9am-12pm Friday. John arrived on time at 9am on Friday and immediately walked the property with me to discuss the specific boundary line I wanted. Again he offered his advice and took into account my concerns and needs. Once we had agreed on where the fence would be buried, he got straight to work. I was really surprised at how quickly he was done - at approx 11:30am, he knocked to say he was done and that he would like to show me what he had done and how to work with my dog on initial training. He explained everything thoroughly and only left when I was comfortable. Even immediately after installation it was difficult to see where the fence had been installed - everything looked great and there was no mess anywhere. John had to install the power box in the garage, but because my internal outlets were not in a convenient place, he had to run a cable up and across inside the roof. The wiring looks great and very tidy. Overall, I am extremely happy with the service and installation so far. I highly recommend Michigan Hidden Fence.

Very friendly and professional installer. All questions were answered in a timely, thorough fashion.

The guy’s name was Randy. They were here when they said they were going to be here. I did not have to wait for them the whole day for them. Their prices were good. Even though I called them out twice because I did not like the work the first time, they really did not think too upset to come do it again. It was not their fault it was mine. They are very nice. They were also very accommodating to me being a problem child.

The entire experience was great. The equipment is top notch too!

Randy (owner), Ken and John (installers) know their business well and gave us good guidance on the options. Quick and neat install, and responsive to what we asked for in terms of placement of the fence wire and control unit. Pricing was very competitive and they have a number of options to choose from. Minor complaint in that the battery cover on the collar is cosmetically damaged and the collar itself is way too long (adjustable, but we may need to trim some of the material.) First day of training went fine, but time will tell if this works as hoped.

They buried it in the ground with the trenching machines. The strays hear an ultrasonic when they get the near the fence and if they get too close they get zapped. They were timely, professional and did a good job.
