I called a different company at first and they could not find the problem and they charged me for it. Called Kevin and he fixed it. They were here promptly when they said he would be. The service man was clean, he covered his feet when he went downstairs. They are very polite and very professional.

The lady I spoke with to schedule the appointment was very nice and was able to schedule an appointment the day after I called. The repairman diagnosed the problem as a burned out motor and had a replacement on hand to make for a quick repair. Dryer is working great now. I would definitely use them again.

The oven stopped heating correctly the weekend before Christmas and we needed it working to cook Christmas brunch. They were prompt, diagnosed the suspected problem, and replaced the defective part. On Christmas morning, the oven worked perfectly!

All went well, very satisfied with the friendliness and professionalism of Kevin and his service. Was very impressed that Kevin was not satisfied with his work until the absolute best service and parts were given

I had a very positive experience with him. He was very timely. He came the next day we called him and did a very quick service. He showed up on time and replaced the thermostat. The refrigerator is working fine ever since then. I actually didn’t have any direct interaction with him but my wife said that he was very friendly and explained what he was doing. He just got here when he said he would come. The appointment was set for the next day when we called so he was very timely. He also looked at another older refrigerator in our garage and told that it would be too expensive to fix it because the compressor was bad. So that saved us from wasting money and my wife was very happy about that.

On Sunday, I left a message for Kevin's Appliance Service through the Angie's List contact form. Monday morning I got a call saying that they had a cancellation in my area and could come right over. The caller was polite and helpful. By 9:45, their serviceman, Bo, had been here and was gone, with both refrigerators working perfectly. Bo was clearly very knowledgeable. Obviously Kevin's Appliance Service, Inc. was very responsive and Bo's service couldn't have been more professional or competent. The price was very fair and the overall experience could not have been better. I would recommend Kevin's to anyone and will definitely use them again if a need arises.

I made a phone call around 1pm and Kevin showed up shortly after 2pm on the same day. He was pleasant, professional and efficient. In less than 30 minutes he came, he repaired, he left. The competition we had been referred to by an appliance retailer said they couldn't get anyone here for 5 days and their service call was $20 more than Kevin's was. I was extremely pleased that he was able to come so quickly, had the repair done in short order and charged less than $118. It sure beats having to dump bags of ice into a cooler to save all the perishables and then running out to spend several hundred dollars on a new frig! Two thumbs up for Kevin's Applicance Service!

The tech showed up on time and was very professional. Ended up having to have the heating element replaced and he also noticed that my fridge was under a warranty repair. He came back, on time, today and replaced the heating element which took longer than expected but did not charge me extra. Also, the fridge ended up not having to be repaired. All in all, a good experience and would not hestitate to call them again!

After another company no-showed on an appointment I contacted Kevin's Appliance. They were able to come out the next day to fix our dryer. The technician was very punctual, beyond professional, and had the problem fixed in no time. To top it all off, the bill was much less than I expected! Start to finish they were great to work with! I'll certainly deal with them in the future should our appliances act up.

Kevin is honest and won’t attempt to fix anything beyond repair. He is prompt, reliable, and very nice. I’ve already recommended him to friends and family.

As with the first service call last fall for my "Vintage Maytag washer," I am extremely pleased with Kevin's Appliance Service and Bo's professional expertise and repairs! I joined Angie's List because I wanted to find a local family business and also read about the experiences others had. From the first phone call, I knew the choice was right! Since my Maytag's are older, I wanted an expert opinion on whether it would be cost effective to repair instead of replace them. With both service calls, Bo answered all my questions, explained what repair was necessary, and evaluated the existing condition of these "workhorses" before making a decision. While he was making the repair on my washer in the fall, he noticed that my dryer "vent to the outside" was an "older cloth material" that is no longer code and advised that I have it changed. He had to order the part and when he came back to install it, he made sure all of the other existing connections were also OK. While he had the front part of my dryer "open" for the repair today, he noticed that the belt needed to be replaced and also checked the overall interior condition. I appreciate his thoroughness and willingness to answer so many questions! I was fortunate it was not a major repair, but since the sound of the "dryer balls" were masking the real problem and it could have been very costly, I'll be drying without them from now on!

They are fantastic. The spinning drum was wobbly. They are very good. They are reliable. They are on time.

He brought a new window and installed the window. Waited patiently while I cleaned the inside of the existing window. Very polite and courteous. Was very fair in service charge.

Dishwasher water was not draining from unit. Small piece of plastic was lodged up underneath the pump. Was removed and inspected and checked for proper operation.

I appreciated talking to a live, local person on the phone when scheduling my visit. The service man arrived within the arranged time and, rather than ordering a whole new computer board for my washer, was able to solder some connections in it and get it working again. He saved me a lot of $$. Nice guy! I would highly recommend Kevin's.

They are fantastic. They had actually repaired our wash machine earlier in September, and we had spent $65 then. It was giving problem again; so they came again and fixed it. They didn't charge us anything this time. They had re-bolted the waves earlier in the machine and I think they didn't bolt them tight enough. So they came and fixed it again. They are knowledgeable. They are honest; they could have charged us this time, but they didn?t. We didn't know how tight the bolt should be. We need to wait for an appointment for them to come out. Our machine was making noise and we made an appointment last week. We had to wait for about for 6 days for them to come out. We have to give them a time and they will call us and inform us as to when they are on their way to our house. We will use them again in the future.

He was prompt and professional. I thought the charges for each visit were reasonable -- $45. for the service call, replacement parts depended on the cost of the part: $140., $60., and $30. I have been totally pleased with his work.

Had an issue with our ice maker and Kevin not only figured it out but did not charge me nearly as much as he probably could have. He had to order many parts and try many different things before he was able to determine the issue, but he only charged me for the part he needed and the time it took to install it. Also while he was out I asked about a problem we had with our washer and he fixed that quickly and only charged me for parts.

Wonderful! Both problems were fixed quickly and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Kevin to anyone I know.

The repair man arrived as scheduled and quickly identified the break in the main heating unit of our Kenmore Elite range. He ordered the part and came back to install the new heating unit. He also leveled the range. We are very pleased with the service we received.

Called Kevin's on 6/22 after getting word of mouth recommendation and a look at Angie's site. Office personnel were very helpful and set up appointment based on my available on the very next day. Office person also called ahead of time to alert me to expected arrival time on day of appt. Repair person showed up on time, asked good analysis questions to determine possible solution. Repair done quickly. Very pleased with all aspects of this experience and would use service again, as well as, recommend to friends/family.

Washing machine quit working. Called late in afternoon and service person came the following morning. He diagnosed the problem as the water pump and made plans to come back the following day because he did not have one on his truck. He called a couple hours later, had obtained the part and came over within minutes to complete the repair. Very pleased with promptness and level of service! Would definitely call this company for all future appliance repairs!

They were very responsive and called back when they said they would. He showed up on time and was easy to work with. My dryer works now. I can't speak to price since I don't know what the competition charges, but it was exactly the price I was quoted. I do recommend this company.

I phoned on Friday to report that the dryer was not heating. They said that he could come on Tuesday afternoon. He did arrive at about 2 PM Tuesday. It took about 1/2 hour to diagnose and correct the problem. He installed some new electrical wires which corrected the problem. My dryer is 10 years old. He said that if the problem occurs again it would be necessary to replace the heating element. There was no charge for this return visit. He obviously stands behind his work and makes it right. He impresses me as being both competent and honest.
