I initially contacted the company via email but didn't hear back right away and wanted to schedule immediately. So I called and talked to someone, letting her know the problem and that I am an Angie's List Member. Called on a Friday and was happy that they were able to schedule for Monday. Scheduled for Monday between 2 & 4 p.m., per my request. On Monday, I remembered that I would need to pick up my daughter from school and may not even be home during part of that time. I called them back and left a message. The gal called me back right away and said they couldn't guarantee that he would come closer to 2 and I understood that. Just very happy that she called me back right away. She also informed me that the service person would call me when he was on his way there. Indeed, the tech did call me when he was about 10 minutes from our house. He seemed to be very thorough and was able to diagnose the problem in a matter of minutes. Seemed the machine wasn't level. He did some adjustments and even had me test it while he was still there. He was friendly, professional and explained things well. I thought the price they charged was fair and he remembered to give me the Angie's List discount, without any reminder. I would use their services again and recommend them to others.

It worked so I guess he had done an okay job. They came out quickly and fixed it.

Can't say enough good about the service. They were punctual and professional. When I called them they took my model number and arrived ready to complete the repairs. Would highly recommend, nice to know a company that you can rely on.

My convection oven quit working, so I called Kevin's Appliance, based on their positive reviews on Angie's List. Although Bo came out 3 times to troubleshoot the problem, he identified the issue, and replaced the faulty parts. My oven is now fixed and working great. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received, and I will certainly call Kevin's Appliance again.

They were able to schedule my appointment for the next day, called before they arrived. Two gentlemen came in, fixed the washer. They were prompt, courteous and efficient. Only "issue" was that when I made the appointment I was told there was a $5.00 discount for being an Angie's List member and I had to inquire about that after the bill was presented. They did at that point take the promised discount.

Off and on during the spring we'd been having problems with the refrigerator not keeping food cold enough and the freezer thawing food. After fighting with it and tossing food it was time to do something. I got out my DIY book and decided it was probably the thermostat a tricky job I'm not qualified to do. Girls got to know her limitations. I found Kevin's Appliance Repair on Angie's List. I liked the review and gave them a call. They were able to come the next day. I can't remember the service man's name but he was great. He checked out the refrigerator and yup it was the thermostat. The Sears side by side was 18 yrs old but the agent was able to locate a thermostat in California. It took 9 days for the part to arrive and the serviceman was here the next day to install it. We were very satisfied with the expertise, quick service, and affable personality of the agent. Considering the age of the refrigerator $200.00 for two visits, the part, and repair of the "old gal" was a whole lot less expensive than a new unit which would have run beyond $1000.00. We were happy to pay. I'm sure some repair facilities would have written it off and we'd be looking for a new unit. Kevin's will be the first on our call list when we need another appliance repaired. NOTE: I'm sorry it took me so long to write this review. I couldn't find my receipt for the date until now.

He is amazing and we love him. He is punctual. He is right to the point. He comes in and does the work, I felt very safe in what he said. I absolutely trust him, and that is to the point that we had actually called him back to evaluate things. We trust him implicitly. We had bought a Maytag front load washer a little less than two and a half years ago, and it blew its bearing belt. Of course, Maytag guarantees everything except the bearings, so we had to buy a new one. In the meantime, we had asked him if it would be a good idea to fix the washer, so we could give it to our daughter. All he had to was to listen to it and he knew. We just wanted his advice, and we wanted to know if it was salvageable, and it was not. The price is standard for him. We know that, when he comes out, that is what it is going to be.

I had contacted them earlier to fix my washer but I was able to rig the part so that it would continue to work. So I cancelled the original appointment. A few weeks later I was having to baby sit the washer to finish it's cycle. Well I contacted Kevin's again and rescheduled. They were very accommodating. They arrived early on my date of service. Kevin introduced himself and was very professional and friendly. He certainly knew his stuff! My washer was taken apart, part replaced and tested in less than 30 minutes! While he was repairing he was generous enough to show me what he was doing and explaining as he went along. This meant a lot to me for someone who has almost zero mechanical expertise. He arrived and repaired and I paid all under 45 minutes.

Excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better response and price. Repairman was very honest and showed me what the problem was and the quick solution. Felt like the price was very fair.

This was the second time I've used their service and they've been great. I would highly recommend them. I didn't think their pricing was outrageously out of line with what I would anticipate.

He was exceptional! He was able to come to my house only a few hours after I called him. He explained everything he was doing as he was doing different things. Everything turned out OK, and he did not try to "sell" me extra work or component parts. I know he works on other types of appliances (microwaves, ovens, etc) and I will be calling him soon about another refrigerator. He was polite, thorough, well dressed, and just an overall nice guy, as well as being very knowledgeable. He was identified on the general Maytag website as an authorized service repair. The best appliance repair situation I have ever had!

Our ice maker has given us issues over the years and service has been less than expected. This time via Angie's List we found Kevin's and called Monday morning. He had available time the following day and Kevin himself arrived and fixed it in short order with new parts. He was very efficient and fair priced. Any future appliance repair we will call him again.

I used Kevins Appliance Service Inc and he was excellent. He was very good, very, very good. They were very great and everything is still working good right now. It was last year that they did that. It was just a small part so it wasn't a lot. Their service and professionalism was excellent. The price was good. The quality was very excellent. The responsiveness was excellent also. If I had something wrong I would use them again in the future but fortunately I haven't had anything.

It took him about one minute to diagnose the problem as being a bad control. Job was done in less than a half hour.

Very well. I appreciated the time he spent checking over the oven, making adjustments to it, and explaining to me what I needed to do. They were able to send someone within a day, and he called before coming to the house. Very professional.

He identified the problem. Had the part with him because he anticipated the need after our conversation. Has integrity.

I called after 5:00pm the day before Thanksgiving; they called me back before 9:00am the day after. I told them I would be home around 1:30; they said they would be there between 1:30 and 5:00. I received a call at 1:20pm saying they would be at my house in 20 minutes. The service person was friendly, honest and timely. He replaced a roller, bracket and idler. Would definitely call again.

They came out the first time and diagnosed the problem with the washer but did not have parts on the truck. (which he said was unusual) He also wanted to do some research whether or not the tub would need to be replaced, which would make the cost prohibitive. I called back and he they said it was just the bearings and the shocks. I scheduled for the following Monday. Unfortunately we lost our electricity Sunday afternoon, so I called first thing Monday morning and they were very accommodating with rescheduling. I called back after the power came on and they actually saved me a spot for Thursday morning, knowing it should be back on by then. (Called them Wednesday morning) . First thing Bo (repairman) was put the shockes on and tested to see if I would need the tub. He said if i did need the tub he would remove the shocks and he would charge me for the shocks, just the time for putting them on. Fortunately the shocks worked and then he replaced the bearings which were also bad. Very happy with the service and Bo's helpfulness.

I was very pleased with their prompt response. The service guy was really friendly and knowledgable . I will definitely use them again if needed and highly recommend them.

He came for a drier repair. Assessed the problem and ordered the part.

was ready to leave. Kevin actually stayed in the kitchen with me and had a conversation about things we had in common. He's an affable kind of guy that can be trusted. I will surely call Kevin's Appliance service again...hopefully not too soon!

Kevin was so lousy. did not do a thing. He had no patience to listen to what the problem was. Was not motivated to do any work. He was at my house for 25 minutes and did nothing and got charged $70. VERY POOR service. I went with them only because of the good reviews and so disappointed. Will not use them again.

Called Kevin when our 10-year-old dryer just quit on us. He and a helper came within an hour, diagnosed, quoted and fixed the dryer quickly. The next day, I noticed a gas smell coming from the laundry room, turned off the gas and called kevins. He immediately realized the issue, and was out within 15 minutes. The flexihose had been bent in the process of the repair, and caused a small hole. He took total responsibility for the error, immediately replaced the hose and offered a discount on our next service. Mistakes happen all the time, but I rarely see a service professional fess up and fix things quickly. Will definitely use again.

Repairman arrived on time for the appointment and went immediately to work. Had parts available, and was complete before an hour had elapsed.
