Description of Work: Diagnosed and repaired refrigerator which had stopped keeping frig items cold. Replaced fan in freezer. Called on Monday, was able to schedule service call for first thing Tuesday morning. Received a call at 7:30 a.m. to ensure someone would be there to let him in and Steve arrived at 8:00 a.m. sharp. He was done by 9:00 and the refrigerator is nice and cold again!

Description of Work: Washing machine would stop mid-cycle. Kevin and Mike determined the switch was worn and replaced. The washer has worked ever since. Professional, efficient, responsive. In and out is less than an hour. Great experience.

I spoke with Ms. [Member Name Removed] by phone in late February and reached out to the manufacturer for assistance on her stove. The problem she was experiencing was unusual. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not respond to my email and I did drop the ball in not pursuing that answer. Ms. [Member Name Removed] called again on 3/2. I contacted the manufacturer again and left a message on 3/3 for Ms. [Member Name Removed]. I did not receive a return call. If I dialed incorrectly and left a message for the wrong person I am very sorry. It was certainly not our intent to not provide service.

Description of Work: Kevin came to fix a non-draining dishwasher, he went right to work checking the drain hose first and found the cause- chewed up red rubber(?). He cleared the line, checked the unit for proper functioning and cleaned up the area. We used his service before to |repair a non-cooling refrigerator and were very pleased with that repair. He is very |knowledgeable appliance repairs. We will use him again if needed.

Description of Work: Kevin came out on 2 occasions to repair the same problem. The front loading washer would stop mid cycle and would not unlock. On his last visit, he showed me how to manually unlock the machine. I called back months later and I told the woman who answered the phone that I was still having issues and I couldn't recall how to unlock the machine. I asked if Kevin could please give me a call. She refused and said he would need to make a service call. I consider that poor customer service and will not use their services again.

Our record show that this customer had service on 11-29-12 to replace the motor control board at a total cost of $291.00. Service was provided a second time on 3-1-13 to repair a wiring connection at a total cost of $79.00. I show no service after that date unless it was registered under a different name. Our service is guaranteed for 30 days during which time we are happy to return at no charge to the customer. It has been nearly 2 years since we show any record of service fort his customer. Regarding the current complaint: First, we do not provide any servicing information by phone for liability reasons. We cannot be responsible for what might happen if verbal instructions are misinterpreted resulting in product damage or injury. Most companies have a similar policy. Second, manually unlocking the door does not address the problem that caused the failure in the first place. The customer declined scheduling service on the washer.

I phoned on Monday morning. They promised to come Wednesday morning. I received a call at 10:00 am Wednesday morning telling me he was on the way. There is a base charge of $40 for the call. He charged an additional $15 for fifteen minutes work. He was prompt, professional and personable.
Description of Work: The heating element in my dryer was not working. Kevin quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad wire and re-wired the connection.
