Description of Work: They did a beautiful job on our deck. Some of the materials that came from the manufacturer were unacceptable and they refused to use them - I was impressed that they were determined to make everything meet their own high standards.

Description of Work: Called them to make an appointment to get quotes on a screened in porch. They couldn't come out within a week's time but were willing to see if they could move some appointments and fit me in sooner. They said they would call back and let me know what they could arrange. I never heard back from them.

Description of Work: Janie Ruddy gave me a quote to install new composite decking on my existing deck. He was very busy. Gave me a quote that was a little higher than the competition. He was pleasant, prompt and professional.

Description of Work: I joined Angie's List to find a reputable deck builder. After finding this listing on Angie's List, I called for an estimate to build our backyard deck. He hesitated because we are 34 miles apart but agreed to come give us an estimate. At the time he was to be here for the estimate he called that it was too far, even though he's doing work in ajoining cities - Chesterfield and Macomb townships. We found a builder through a family friend and, in fact, they did a wonderful job and finished our three-tiered, multiple staircase Aztek deck on 7/9/11 at a cost of $25,000. I don't believe 34 miles should have been too far to build a $25,000 deck, especially since he does work in ajoining areas. I thought that because we live in a new area with lots of new homes and homeowners building decks that I would find a great deck builder. That was not my experience. I joined Angie's List for the purpose of finding a deck builder, so I guess I'm not satisfied.
