North wind was on time, professional and did the job they were hired for. They also provided very good recommendations.

Completely unprofessional! Contacted them regarding their Angie's List "Big Deal" 18-point AC tune up. The owner answered the phone, during my call she put me on hold twice. I felt that during the entire call she wasn't even paying any attention to me. She was constantly handling other business in the office while talking to me. She informed me that their 19-point AC tune up was strictly for brand new AC units, she wanted to change me the $99 service fee just to come and look at my unit. I assume that she has a lot of work during these months so she can afford to act unprofessional and turn away new customers. I would not do business with this deceptive and unprofessional company.

Ed from Northwind arrived at the scheduled time and date. I was unable to be there at the appointment time so I leave a key for Ed when he does work at the house so he can get in. Ed called me on my cell when he arrived to confirm with me exactly what my problem was. My problem was a bit hard to trouble shoot but Ed was able to remedy the problem and also was able to point out a problem unrelated to his work that I was un aware of. Northwind took care of the problems in a timely fashion and cleaned up before leaving my home. I have been doing business with Northwind for the last few years and it has been a night and day difference from the service that I had grown to accept in the past. My wife and I have been pleased with all of the work that they have performed at our home including having them install a Tankless hot water system as well as a new High efficiency Furnace. We sent Northwind over to my grandmothers to have them replace the furnace and air there as well. It has been a sigh of relief to know that when my grandmother has heating and cooling problems that I can count on Ed to go over there and handle them honestly and with quality workmanship.

The service rep arrived right on time and was very friendly. He worked quickly but did a thorough job. He answered all my questions and offered to look at some other things that were of a concern to me. As a result of the company's pricing and overall performance I had them return to replace the pool pump.

On time performed testing.

Ed from Northwind showed up on time was professional, polite, and answered my questions. Ed explained that my boiler is old and only about 50% as efficient as newer models but is still safe and in good shape and could last awhile longer. He cleaned and inspected my hot water heater. I told him that I have to turn the dial up high now to get sufficient hot water. Ed indicated that it was not heating the water as well as it should and I since it is 10 years old I may need a new one soon. He quoted me a price for installing a new one. I used an Angie's list coupon offer ($59) for the cleaning and inspection, so the price was certainly reasonable.

Ed was right on time and very pleasant. He performed the service, answered all my questions and looked over a couple of others issues I had. Great experience.

Ed sealed an opening where my old filter was that i no longer needed because i had added a large acordian filter. Was on time to the minute. They helped me out with a rebate that I had gotten from Semco for getting my furnace inspected. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!

Upstairs room was cold, came out and repaired separated duct line, humidifier was not pumping water so replaced pump and provided filters. Geothermal unit stopped working and gave referral to other great company.

North Wind Heating and Air, Inc. came in and fixed our furnace to work the way it should have from the beginning-energy efficient. This company came out very fast from the time I called and did a professional and perfect job. I have noticed I have saved quite a bit of money on my bills this winter. Also, we don't have to worry about a dryer fire any longer with the steel ductwork they installed!

N'wind came to give estimate same day I called from Angie's listing - estimate reasonable - did work on schedule - cleaned job site - pulled permit and passed permit inspection upon completion.

They replaced my Furnace And they did an excellent job.

North Wind is one of a kind! needless to say there are a handful of companies that do heating and cooling. But North Wind does it with professionalism, friendliness, and promptness! I had my AC stop working on one of the first hot days of the year. North Wind informed me that they had a huge influx of customers call because of the current weather conditions (HOT!) but they would be out as soon as possible. There techs where out all night helping the people in need while still keeping me informed every chance they could until they where able to come take a look. When they came out, the tech was VERY informative and friendly, made sure to let me know up front what I'm in for and fixed the problem THAT DAY! I wouldn't think twice to refer them to any and everybody I know.

I myself was referred to north wind and luckily so. Right from the first phone call I was treated with kindness and respect! They where here when they said they would be and treated my home like it was there own! They didn't make a mess, made sure all there equipment and everything else was picked up and clean before they left! I couldn't be more happier!

I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY. THEY WERE GOOD AND THEY DID THEIR JOB. THEY CAME ON TIME AND THEY GOT THE WORK DONE RIGHT ON SCHEDULE. THEY EVEN CHANGED OUR FURNACE FILTER FOR US AND THEY DIDN'T CHARGE US FOR IT.
