We wire breaker boxes, recess lights, repair wiring, kitchen and bath wiring, electric ranges and dryers, and garages . We can handle most of your home wiring needs. McGuire Electric was started by my father William A McGuire in 1943. I took over the family business in 1973. Your home is important to you, and our reputation is Important to us, so we will do the best job possible. We provide written estimates or hourly rates. 1 year guarantee on all new installations. Service was great, price was great, overall very happy.
Description of Work: Wired 4 outlets in the garage ceiling for hanging shop lights and two wall outlets on separate sides of the garage. Also, installed a correct junction box for a badly spliced 240v dryer line, added conduit to the line and a new dryer plug outlet.

McGuire Electric is top rate. McGuire did exactly what we contracted for, on time and for the quoted price. McGuire Electric is highly professional and they know what they're doing and how to treat their customers. Mick McGuire took care of getting all the permits and inspections with the City and kept us fully informed as to what was going on. We're now in the process of remodeling our home in Troy, that was originally wired in 1919, and we have contracted with Mick to do a complete rewiring of the entire home, bringing it into the 21st Century. Mick was able to offer numerous suggestions that will keep the cost affordable. We have never had to wait long, because Mick always returned our phone calls, immediately. What a difference from some other contractors that we've used. I highly recommend that you call Mick if you're considering having any electrical work done. You won't be sorry.

The men came out when they said and were very professional and clean. My fuse panel was in really bad shape, rust and water damage, frayed wires outside, etc. When they came out, they gave me an estimate and started immediately upon my approval. Everything looks great and they cleaned any mess like they were never here. I will definetly be using McGuire Electrical for any and all of my electrical needs in the future.
