Arrived right on time both days. Clearly knew what they were doing. Very professional and clean, vacuuming up where they had to drill. I didn't move anything out of the way (or out of the attic) and they did it all and put it back. House totally back in shape both days after work ended. Mick McGuire did estimate and walkthrough and came the first day to show the project manager, Pat, what to do where. Pat did a great job, offered suggestions and managed to add outlets where we didn't think he could. Walked through with me when they finished to show me what was done. Surprisingly quiet for 3 work guys. Tolerated my cat. I thought that the price was very fair; I had another estimate considerably higher. Sent 3 electricians so they could get it done in 2 days and accommodated my work schedule. Mick called to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I would definitely use them again--and ask for Pat for a big job.

The service was fantastic. I called in the morning to inquire about the service and set an appointment. I set up an appointment for the following week, but was told that there might be an opening later in the afternoon the same day I called. I received a call shortly after noon and was told that there was an opening and the service providers could be there within an hour and a half. The service providers arrived and, shortly after I explained what needed to be done, they got straight to work and completed the job in a timely manner. The service providers were extremely polite. They explained the process and made sure everything was correct. I was impressed and thought the price was more than fair. I will definitely use McGuire Electric in the future.

This company is great and the job went extremely well. My newly-bought house had a ton of old-house problems, everything from lazy/incorrect wiring all over the basement, to ancient wiring in the garage. Jason did the job estimating and was the primary go-to for the work (three on Day 1, mostly him on Day 2, two on Day 3) . He helpfully stated which projects were likely not worth the time/money required to fix them and wrote up a very thorough, broken-out list of the work to be done, with prices for each section. The garage had an old Fuse panel and extremely old wiring that could not be repaired, so even after about a 3" snowfall, the team was able to run a new line from the house to the garage, underground (after digging), and rewired the whole garage for lights and outlets. They also had the time to move an old stovehood wire to the inside of the cabinet, and put the wire on its own circuit, for the microwave to be mounted (later, by me). Before Day 1 was over, I noticed some additional bad wiring that I missed in the estimate, and a recessed light needed a full replacement, which Jason fairly quoted me for (tons of other, small work was thrown in, but this addition was too much to just throw in). Day 2 was the primary basement day. Tons of old, capped off wiring was removed, incorrect wiring was rerouted, boxes and new outlets were installed, and lots of other small problems were detected and fixed. The quote was somewhat open-ended, due to the amount of work needed on an initial glance. Jason and his team were constantly fixing things we missed in the initial passthrough, such as switches that weren't mounted properly to walls, wires that went nowhere in particular, and my personal favorite, a conduit in a cellar room with two power outlets with no actual electrical wiring running through the conduit. The vast majority of these fixes were made with no adjustment to the budget, there were constantly little things being "thrown in", even when they weren't initially noticed on the estimate. Whenever they found something strange that needed input, they solicited my input to make sure the overall setup met my needs. They were also able to repair a light over the front porch (through the attic) that was wired incorrectly and/or sat on at some point. Day 3 was yet another basement wiring cleanup day, running wire through joists, properly, rather than lazily stapling the wires in place like the previous owner did. Once again, they noticed more switches that either didn't make sense, or weren't wired properly and replaced them. All throughout the work, I was kept informed about the work performed, notified of potential problems, and was also given a suggestion for the future move and installation of an upgraded breaker panel. Through all of the work and some really lousy weather, the team did a very good job of keeping my house clean. So overall, extremely satisfied with the work. The project was on budget and priced very fairly; I have absolutely zero complaints and nothing but praise for the team and company. It's nice knowing I have a go-to company for future electrical work that I can't handle on my own.
