McGuire Electric - Royal Oak

On Memorial Day evening the lights flickered and about half the circuits went out. I called Edison and they came out around 4:00 PM the next day. He ran some tests and siad the main breaker was bad and I should call an electrician. Jason from McGuire arrived about 5:30, did some tests and agreed that the main breaker was bad. He said it was an older syle breaker and the part might be hard to find but he would look in the warehouse and a couple of stores to see if he could find one. He would either be back in an hour or call. He was back at about 6:300, installed the breaker, hooked the meter up again and was finished before 7:00. Excellent service.

Overall, I was very pleased with the services McGuire Electric provided. They were able to provide service to me the same day that I requested it. They provided a smaller window (1:30 pm to 3:30 pm) and showed up early in the window. The technician (Jason) was very professional, organized and did a thorough job explaining the root of the issue with my electricity. As he went through the repair, he took steps to improve the quality of my electrical connections, as well as the safety, which was above and beyond the repair that he was asked to make. Throughout the repair, Jason was conscientious of the cost to me as the homeowner and did a nice job of providing alternative approaches, allowing me to make the decision on how to determine the issue causing interruption in my electricity. When the job was finished, Jason cleaned up the work area and restored all outlets, switches and wall covers to their original condition. I would recommend McGuire Electric to anyone in need of a residential electrician. I thank McGuire Electric, as well as Jason, for their professionalism and quality customer service.
