Ric performed 2 home inspections for me. He was very professional and a wealth of information. The follow up report was provided promptly and I appreciate how thorough he was to allow me make the best educated decision. I will definitely use him again in the future and highly recommend.

Company did a great job. The inspector was friendly and very detailed. Pointed out some items that would need work eventually but only pointed out major concerns. He gave detailed report with pictures with helped negotiate some seller credits on the new home. I was also in a crunch and needed the inspection completed in 3 days and they were able to get out there on time.

Mr. Davis was very thorough and missed no details - I would definitely hire him again! He was also friendly and put me at ease, and did not make me embarrassed for my home's condition. Rather, he provided helpful advice for prioritizing areas that need improvement.

My husband and I would highly recommend Ric Davis as a home inspector. He is very thorough and forthright with his findings. We hired him last fall to do an inspection and he pointed out so many issues with just the outside that he offered us a reduced rate if we just wanted him to stop the inspection at that point. We did. We hired him again just recently to inspect another house. Once again in a very professional manner he inspected this house and did find some minor issues but felt very confident that this house was well taken care of and would be a good home for us to purchase. We think very highly of him and his work.

Rick called me back even though he does not do mold remediation and even though he does not serve my area. He spoke to me several times by telephone, and at some length each time, and encouraged me to call back if I needed further advice; he gave me invaluable advice and direction regarding what to look for and where to start my search--and all this without charging me anything! He recommended that I have two separate companies do the mold inspection/testing and the remediation, so that the results of the inspection/testing would not be self-serving, eliminating the potential for the company **** the inspection/testing to be motivated to line their own pockets. He told me to have the inspection/testing company come out twice, initially to evaluate what was needed in terms of remediation, and then after the remediation was completed by another company, to have them return to evaluate the effectiveness of the remediation. He explained that he does not recommend remediation companies, so as to avoid any conflict of interest. I was so impressed with his kindness and ethical standards, and I learned so much from speaking with him. Wow...what a straight arrow!!

Ric Davis of Davis Inspection Services was prompt and efficient. He explained the entire process to me and made me feel comfortable that if there was mold there were procedures to help remediate the problem. Once he completed the inspection he provided me with a extensive lab report. The entire experience was professional and well worth the cost of the inspection. As first time home buyers, my girlfriend and I have been overwhelmed with pretty much every step, but Rick and Brian did a fantastic job, with arguably, one of the scariest parts (the inspection). I wanted a dependable inspector, that gave me the insight to things I would have definitely missed, and I wanted to be sure this was the home for us. Rick assured us right from the start that he would probably scare us, but that he had been doing this for many years and it was better we know everything up front, before making such a big commitment! Fortunately for us, our inspection went pretty well, as we have heard horror stories, but he pointed out numerous things that we would need to address. Rick and Brian were extremely personable and walked us through every part of the inspection. I like how they would inspect a section of the house, explain his findings to us while we were there, and then he would retire briefly to take his time with his notes before proceeding to the next section/part of the inspection. As stated, they were very thorough but the report had even more than I could have imagined, supplemented with numerous photographs of everything that was inspected. I did receive a coupon for $50 off on Angie's List, but looking back I truly would have paid the full price, knowing that I can now rest assured the inspection was meticulous. We recommended Davis Inspection to my Realtor, as we could not be happier with the price, attention to detail, and overall professionalism from scheduling our inspection (very timely by the way) through receiving the report!

Mr. Davis arrived promptly and worked efficiently to complete the project. His inspection was very thorough and he documented with multiple photographs. He indicated all recommended updates and safety changes based upon his many years of experience. The price was very affordable and at or below market rate especially with the discount offered through Angie’s List. I highly recommend this provider for your home inspection.

Very well. Home had not been inspected since 2009. Identified several matters that need to be corrected. Some for important safety reasons. Happy decided to pay and have it done. Much better than home inspections I have had done previously in terms of identifying issues and making recommendations.

Ric was punctual and very professional. He proceeded to go over and explain defects as he went around the exterior of the home. He answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. He was very observant and knew what to look for. He did the same in the basement. In our case he prevented us from buying a house with many expensive flaws not seen by us.

The whole process went great with Davis Inspection. As a first time home buyer I did not fully know the process of the home inspection. Mr. Davis walked me through every aspect of the inspection and fully explained to me what he was seeing and documenting in each section of the house. He helped me feel much more at ease with the whole process. I'm very glad I found him and would recommend to anyone to use his company for home inspections.

Ric was nothing short of amazing. He did a great job in showing us all of the imperfections in the home we were purchasing. He gave us a detailed report with pictures of everything we should do to the house. What we loved about Ric was that he felt very comfortable telling us when things were okay and could wait to be fixed versus things that should be fixed sooner rather than later. Another thing we really liked about Ric is that he utilizes modern technology to track and report his progress. Our report and photos were completely digital and really great quality! I think one suggestion that would make the report even better would be to add a section that displays all of the defects ordered in such a way that it combines cost/safety and essentially tells us what we should do first. That way we can work down the list and feel confident we are fixing the right things first.

Everything went well, we were provided excellent information about the potential home purchase.

The inspection did not require anything from us. Ric Davis did a complete inspection and sent us a detailed report of all issues. He sent photos also.
