The work went well. I called A & C on 8/6 and on 8/15 the work was done and 8/18 a additional amount of refrigerant was added. small error at time of installation so i was glad for good service The workmen were professional but it is a big modification for my furnace because of the larger coil and so it required the whole day for the job. I intend to write this review in two parts since the furnace change was significant. I can not rate the furnace in this warm weather. The unit is very good and in comparison to the old unit requires a lot less time to cool.. I would recommend A & C for a new unit if needed. The furnace modifications are fine and it works well. I ended up with a new AC unit and a furnace that is updated ad modified to handle the new AC unit.

I got the impression they were looking for more work rather than doing a tune-up. Person who did the work found a small leak but didn't stop it quickly enough when changing the plug causing a lot more freon to escape imo. Parts taken out weren't cleaned before being put back in. Estimate for a 2 ton AC is the same price as what they are advertising on Angie's list for a 3 ton?

We recently purchased a home and needed the AC inspected, we found the offer for the AC inspection here on Angie's List for $29 and purchased it. Called and spoke with Chris, who answered all of of my questions, he was kind and professional. I scheduled an appointment with him for a few days later. He preformed the inspection, did some recharging and cleaning and did find that the capacitors in the condenser and furnace needed to be replaced, he did a great job of explaining what was wrong and was never pushy. We decided to replace the capacitors and we also personally decided to purchase a new thermostat from him. He did not have the part to replace the capacitors with him, but he communicated when he could replace the part, and he followed through and replaced it when he said he would. I would use and recommended A&C to others.

I scheduled an appointment @ 11:00 am for 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm. Steve (owner) called me approximately 2:50 to say he was on his way and would be at my home in 5 minutes. I was still on route from work so he asked if he could go ahead into the backyard to check the unit. By the time I got home (approx. 3:05), he had already diagnosed and fixed the problem.

Everything went well. 2 man crew showed up during the stated time window. Installation went smoothly. Old air conditioner was taken away. Unit has been working well and it has been 6 weeks since installation.

Very well. The 2 men that showed up were prompt, professional and very informative.

Arrived on time on the scheduled day. Worked quickly with little noise, clutter or direction. Work completed much faster than I had anticipated.

Straight forward service. Professional technician. No surprises. Did the work that I paid for, nothing more, nothing less. Did not try to up-sell me or tell me my entire HVAC system was about to collapse. I appreciated that. A normal, run of the mill service call. Simple and effective.

I purchased a deal on 5/16 for $29 for an HVAC and A/C tune-up. Great deal price. Then -- no response by email from service provider. On 5/31, I called and left a message to get an appointment time set. Today is 6/6 -- still no return call or email. Called Angie's List and asked for refund.

Within 30 minutes of calling A&C Heating and Cooling and leaving a message, Chris had called me back and made an appointment to come to my house at my convenience. He inspected my furnace and said he could fix it for a small amount which was a relief because I was not looking for an expensive fix. After Chris explained to me in detail what kind of shape my furnace was in and how he could help me I was impressed. Something I did not tell Chris was that I had a competitor come out before him a few days earlier and was told that I needed a new furnace as soon as possible because it was DANGEROUS!! To hear that was scary!!! Chris mentioned that he could fix it and I also asked him for a quote for a new A/C system. A&C Heating and Cooling not only gave me the best price for a new system but installed it and explained to me every function of my new system and how to properly use it. I believed every word he said because he explained everything in detail and in return I purchased a new system from A&C because I was educated enough to make a such a large monetary decision like that and Chris was a total professional and I felt comfortable about it. I have and I will continue to recommend A&C Heating and Cooling to all of my family and friends.

Christopher does superior work. His prices are very fair, and he does the highest quality work. I will continue to use his services, and I am happy to recommend him to anyone that has heating and cooling needs.
