It took several days to get my claim serviced. I have a home warranty. Once they came to my home the service technician was very professional, polite and explained everything to me. His name is Robert. Robert is an asset to your company. Thank you!

A&C was contracted by my warranty company to diagnose and repair my two central air units. When the guy was here on 7/19/2021 he explained the issues with each unit and after he was finished I asked for a copy of the diagnosis he then claimed he had to go input it into the computer and would then email it to me (I never received anything). I have called A&C several times to find out the status of my claim and to find out when I would receive something in writing. Still no response. 7\28\2021 - I called again and was getting the run around. It was only when I threatened to call the news that I received a call from the owner 5 minutes later. He was very unprofessional and had a very cavalier attitude like he was doing me a favor by entertaining my call. He had the audacity to ask why I was calling complaining because I hadn't received any communication from his company. He said my warranty company had been contacted, but if I'm calling several times to find out the status of my claim wouldn't it make sense to contact me also? I spoke to the warranty company 7/28/21 and they haven't received a written diagnosis from A&C either. A&C staff were rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. To this day I have yet to receive an order number, claim number, diagnosis, or timeline as to when the work will be completed.

A & C Heating and Cooling did a great job. The furnace is quiet and efficient in saving money on my gas bills. Very professional, tidy and prompt. I would definitely recommend this company.

They installed a new humidifier one year ago. Now it is leaking. We had the filter replaced last month, but that did not fix the leak. Now I am told that the installation was incorrect in several ways, that the valve will not function to turn down the water flow, and that a hose -- should have been PVC -- is cracking and dripping. Humidifier had to be disconnected, as that was the only way to stop the leak. We will replace furnace and have humidifier properly installed this spring.

The tech was nice and told me I needed a new gas valve and the blower wasn't working. The blower was working before they came. I had another company come and look at it and they said the blower had been disconnected. My furnace was fine after he reconnected it. A&C Heating & Cooling tried to up sell me by telling me I needed to purchase a new furnace.

It was pretty good. No complaints.

They also told me about my humidifier and what was needed to get it operational.

Tech was nice and on time. However, he had problems with furnace zoning system (furnace was not turning on after inspection). He had to call another person at the office which told him how to fix it (by pressing a switch on the zoning board) without waiting for zoning system to restart (the other person said that it has a 15 minutes wait time). Everything seemed fine when it was tested (both zones on). However, couple of days later, cold weather returned. Furnace, which has been working without issues for over 6 years, was turned on for first time since service and we found out that zoning system does not work anymore (both zones are on or off without ability to decide which one to turn on or off). I contacted the company explaining the issue and they answered that it seems a zone damper stuck open or closed, suggesting a service call to check operation. This makes me give a negative rating since I would have to pay for a service call on an issue they caused to begin with. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them. Professionalism rating is for not taking responsibility on their work not for the technician. Price rating, although influenced by the issue, is for the service itself if it was performed without issues.

I stayed and watched the technician work. He did a great job taking things apart and cleaning them and then reassembling them. Furnace has worked dependably ever since.

Well. The two technicians were right on time and provided helpful information about what I needed and did not need. Furnaces appear to be working better as a result of their visit. The company was very busy with emergencies because it had been cold and it took a couple of contacts to schedule, but I was happy with the result. Note: this deal was partially sponsored by gas companies such as Consumers Energy, and they wanted information about the account number so that the A&C Cooling could collect part of their fee from the gas company. This is perfectly fine, but it did come as a bit of a surprise.

James was punctual, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He did a great job, made recommendations and suggested options, and put the customer's individual needs first. I plan on using this company again for air-conditioning tune-up, and I have recommended this company with rave reviews.

Our furnace was completely examined by the technician. The technician was very thorough and also very helpful. We will also hire them for an a/c tune-up as soon as the weather improves. We found out at the time of service that the company is also highly recognized by the local utility company for their service work. We will definitely hire the company for future HVAC work.

It never did. I was never able to set an appointment w/A&C.

Excellent price for Angie List member. Company was very professional. Company delivered quick service - was on time and called ahead. Company replaced furnace filter and evaporator pad with ones which we supplied.

It exceeded my expectations! Jim the inspector was courteous, competent and professional in every respect. He thoroughly checked every aspect of my furnace and humidifier, explaining the function of all the various pieces to me as he went along. He adjusted my humidifier which wasn't drawing water efficiently and now it is humming along as it should have been. He checked the difference between the temp of the air going into the furnace and that coming out of a nearby vent and calculated that my furnace was operating very efficiently. He also answered an unrelated question regarding my water heater venting which will enable me to take care of an annoyance I was having with it. Bottom line, I have total faith and confidence in A and C Heating and Cooling and will call them again.

Nice, professional, did not try to sell unneeded services.
