I found Renew It through Home Advisor while searching for a company in my area to do a re-deck of my existing wooden deck. From the quote to the finish I was very happy with Renew It. They spent extra time making sure the framing from the original deck was sound and made improvements where necessary to ensure I would have a long lasting deck. No more sanding/staining/replacing rotting wood. My only regret is not doing it sooner. Our deck is beautiful and my family loves it.

Shared for Jay Werschky When deciding to remove a couple of old decks and place a much larger one that extended the entire length of the front of my Up North home I interviewed 3 companies. Once I met with all three there was no question which company I was contracting to do my work. ReNewit won hands down. From the first meeting with Dustin I could tell these were professionals. They know their trade inside and out. From design to materials through completed construction . There were no questions left unanswered. They give you a quote to the penny and never waivered. Even getting stuck with the shutdown because of Covid-19 they kept me informed and the delays, while annoying , didn't interfere with the beautiful result. I have an absolutely beautiful, well constructed outdoor living space that just adds so much to my enjoyment when I'm at my cottage. I chose to put glass panels so not to block my view of the Bay and then added lights to the top of all the supports and on the steps. Joe, the foreman of the job is very accessible and always responded promptly to my calls. He even sent photos of the various stages of construction. I think you get the drift that I am extremely satisfied and there is no question who will be doing the deck on the backside of my cottage in the future. Don't take my word for it, do diligence and research but I am sure you will come to the same conclusion I did. You will not regret it!! Fantastic company and incredible result. Excellent contractor. These guys do quality work. Very detailed. I would use them again. My deck was a little complicated. No problem for these guys. Definitely the best in the area. Thank you Dustin, Joe, & Ray!!

Everyone at Renewit has been fantastic from start to finish. Dustin was extremely helpful during the sale and design phase, and worked with his suppliers to get us the best possible price. Joe and his construction team started work this past fall, and everything they did is first class. Even though they were working in early winter weather through November, they did not cut corners and they kept me updated through regular photos and text messages so I could see the progress from downstate. With Renewit, the little details were all covered. We had a couple of minor issues this spring after the winter, and they were out immediately to make everything right. We could not be happier...I would give them six stars if I could. I recommend them without hesitation.

The finished product is very good. Unfortunately, the job was estimated to take 4-5 days and eventually took 3 weeks. Workers did not seem knowledgeable, would argue with profanity and did not show up when they said they would. Overall, I do not recommend Renew It Group.

The Salesman was great at first. Then there was silence nobody was returning our emails. We were told that they would start the end of May. End of May came and went. The job was actually started the end of June. The construction crew was fantastic and very professional. The deck turned out great. We have gotten a lot of compliments. However, I would be hesitant to recommend this company.

We LOVE our new deck! It was a bit expensive, but still less than we were quoted from another companies. The workers were polite and meticulous and work was completed when said. The project manager popped in from time to time to check on things. We are very happy with this deck!

Without a doubt, I feel safe being on the deck with my family. Very Solid construction. Inspector gave a clean bill of health. However, finishing details leave a lot to be desired i.e. visible deck screws on handrail with rough, splintering surface; Staircase handrail with no return to rail; Footing base left unfilled; Transition from last step to ground left bare. Granted, fine finishing may not be part of the contract. They are probably too busy to worry about such details. I also would have appreciated a more detailed planning process where more confirmation steps were taken to ensure what was built was what we wanted (Clients frequently change their minds about the final product). Communication could have been better. Bottom line is, it is what it is. My bad for not being more proactive and just waiting to see the finished product.

The over all team experience displayed by renewit was fantastic! From the professional consultantation to that last day the work crew put in.... flawless. Our family is very satisfied with this company and the outstanding service they provide as a whole. Give them a call if you have a deck need they will deliver!

They were difficult to communicate with, were more interested in their own agenda than mine, were messy and damaged my door. They did not arrive when promised and completed half the work before leaving for the weekend (not my choice) but I was told " the crew would not have work until the following Monday and wouldn't like that." The manager then did not relay this to his crew.

They were punctual, professional and thorough.

Excellent work, very pleasant crew, everyone was knowledgable and skilled. Renewit replaced our decrepit deck with a lovely new one. We are enjoying our (regained) outdoor space! The attention to detail and architectural rendering greatly improved the overall appearance of our house.

I am extremely happy with the bathroom remodel job. The quality of work was excellent, and they were willing to accommodate my schedule at all times. I highly recommend them.
