You've Got It Maid

Cleaning was Ok, but I was not really wowed by it. They missed the roman shades in the bedroom and the ceiling of the shower. When I pointed them out, they took care of them, but then I was charged for the extra half hour it took. Kitchen floor is white and I can't get it clean, but with the products they were using, they did worse than I would.

I had trouble with this deal from the beginning. It took several calls to the provider before I was able to get a cleaning date scheduled. I scheduled the day off from work so I could be home when they arrived, and then they called me two days in advance to say they wouldn't be coming and would have to reschedule. At that point, it was too late for me to reschedule my work hours again, so I ended up "losing" a vacation day as a result. When I made the appointment, I also asked how much I should expect them to be able to complete in 3 hours, and was told that based on the size of my house (2300 sq ft) they would be able to do "most" of it, especially since I had one room that I wasn't planning to have them touch at all. One of the women called me about 15 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive to let me know that traffic was heavier than expected and that they might be late, but they still made it there within 5 minutes of the planned time. I definitely appreciated the extra communication from them, even though they didn't end up with a long delay. I talked through my list of which rooms were most important to have cleaned, and they said they would start with those and then move on to the rest. The top priorities were master bedroom/bath, kitchen, and laundry room floor. Then after that would come dusting/vacuuming the stairs and the rest of the first floor (living, dining, family, guest bath). This is where things started to go wrong again. They spent over two hours just on the master bedroom and bathroom, but didn't do anything about the dust buildup on the walls, medicine cabinet, etc. or really anything above eye-level. I was told that one of them had spent a long time on the shower, but there were still dirty spots there that I was able to clean up in just a few minutes the next day, so I'm not sure what she spent the time on. We also discovered, later that night, that the drain stopper in one of the sinks was broken, when it had been working fine that morning. I don't know that they broke it, but they didn't say anything about it not working for them. At the 2-hour mark, one of them finally started to work on the kitchen, so by the 3-hour mark we still hadn't started the laundry room (top priority) or any of the rest of the first floor. I agreed to pay for an extra hour, since we really needed that work done, but I was very disappointed that the estimate I'd been given (most of the house completed within 3 hours) was so far off; they'd only managed to do 3 rooms, and one of those wasn't done well at all. They did okay for a basic cleaning, but I wouldn't in any way consider it to be the "deep" clean that was advertised. The cleaners who came to the house were friendly, but also didn't seem to feel any urgency to get things done within the original timeframe. If you hire this company in the future, make sure you are very detailed in your instructions if you have anything specific that needs to be done, because "clean this room" didn't seem to be enough detail.

The two girls did an excellent job in my three bathrooms. but a terrible job in the kitchen. They ran out of time. Very nice and friendly. They charge $80 an hr., way too much. I only paid $150 for three hrs thru Angie's list and that was good. I can't afford $80 an hrs.

The YGIM team was fantastic. They were detail-oriented , thorough and efficient. They managed to remove some stains I had struggled with for a while. When they were done, the house was spic and span and sparkling! Thanks You've Got It Maid!!

Badly. They were late. Their idea of "deep cleaning" was vacuuming the furniture and washing windows. I didn't want the windows washed, I wanted the corners cleaned, and the dust bunnies under the furniture swept away. I wanted the kitchen floor scrubbed, not mopped. I wanted the cabinets wiped down completely, not just spot washed. Our cabinets are WHITE. We could see exactly where they hit and where they missed. Very disappointed. I will not purchase another "big deal" because I felt my money was wasted. It took me this long to decide to respond to you because I was too angry to write initially..

Things went very well. We had a plumbing failure while the crew was cleaning our house, and they worked around the problem. One of the girls even sanitized the area that was affected by the plumbing leak! I arranged for regular service on the spot. It has been great having this service since.

The house cleaners were pleasant and worked hard, concentrating on detailed cleaning in the kitchen, bathroom and one of the bedrooms. They provided their own equipment (vacuum) and cleaning supplies. They worked hard, but unfortunately did not get to all the rooms. I would hire them again - as they were competent and professional.

That didn't go very well. They advertised for a deep cleaning and I don't think they did any deep cleaning. They barely did any surface cleaning. It wasn't cheap. They were half an hour late. I had to ask them to make the beds even though that's on their list of things that they do routinely. They weren't very friendly. I just felt like I don't know why I had to take a morning off of work to be here and they didn't really do their thing. It took a very long time to make an appointment with them. I think they actually signed up too many people with their specials. It was a month and a half between the time I called and the time they came out to do the service. There were no extra charges. They didn't dust everything. They just dusted some things. It was my first time using them. One good thing is that my stalls looked like brand new.

The ladies who came were quite pleasant. I asked them to concentrate on deep cleaning our three bathrooms. This took the entire time they were here and we appreciated their efforts!

Team of two arrived on time. Performed the cleaning in an efficient manner. There were a couple items that I had to guide them to do as it was a final apartment clean.

They were on time, friendly and really tried to get me a time that would work. They did a good job but the two ladies spent most of the time talking (some personal, some work related) which is fine except it seemed to slow down the cleaning. They went to the kitchen last and I ended up having to pay for extra time to get it done and then it was more of a lick and a promise than a deep clean.

Purchased a big deal on Angie's List. Company got right back to me to set up a date of the cleaning. They immediately warned me that, given the square footage of my house, there would be an additional cost (which I knew when I purchased the big deal). They gave me a estimate for the additional amount, and did not exceed that estimate when they came to clean. We had two people cleaning for about 4 hours. House looks great, and all areas were cleaned. Workers were thorough and polite. They asked if we had any concerns about the chemicals they used. Will be trying them every couple of weeks, but so far so good.

They were on time and cleaned everything we asked for.

It was fairly good. I had to pay something additional beyond what the deal was for but that was kind of expected because the house hasn't been cleaned in a while so there was some additional work that needed to be done. The additional time they took it wasn't a surprise so I can't complain about it, they did a good job cleaning and so forth.

Did a great job. I am very satisfied.

Awful! I used 10 hours vacation time from work for the appointment to get my new home cleaned and ready for the Christmas Holiday. First time the entire family came together for Christmas. COMPANY WAS A NO CALL NO SHOW!

Brought all their supplies & equipment. Requested a tour of the house to see layout to see if any special requests by me were needed. After the job was completed again we toured To see if anything had to be redone or was I satisfied...which I was. They did a very thorough job but as I asked about "a regular" clean if I signed up for further services I was told the office would follow up with me but it would probably be 2 people for $80.00 per hour. All though the work was excellent I would be unable to afford that price even once per month.

That worked out very well. They didn’t have enough time to dust the downstairs but they cleaned the rest of the area including the cabinets, windows and so forth. I wasn’t actually here for it; I just saw the results from it. My wife was here that day and she was very happy with what they were doing. The cleaning turned out good.

It went pretty good. There were no additional charges. They did a good job. I would use them again.

They spent an hour and twenty minutes doing very little house cleaning. After the cleaning team left it took me 15 minutes to Dirt Devil up the areas that were left along the baseboards and other areas on the floor that weren't vaccumed. The kitchen counters weren't cleaned. The rugs weren't picked up and shook. Not sure if they mopped the floors. All in all not a professional job. Not satisfied.

I have them come in to clean once a month for 1.5 hours. The house sparkles when they leave.

Angel and Alisha were on time, courteous, thorough, and I felt comfortable having them in my home.

I had purchased six man hours of thorough cleaning so I expected a lot of cleaning. When I got home I noticed that they had only finished a few rooms. They were either very slow or a little too thorough. Either way I was disappointed.

Very thorough cleaning. friendly, prompt and professional crew. detailed checklist of items cleaned. Highly recommend.

Horrible. I would never use again.
