We are using Davey for numerous services. Including lawn fertilization, mulch application and treating our spruce trees. Their staff who have come out have been very professional, helpful and pleasant.

The Davey crew came out and surveyed the job. They gave good advice on what was critical and what could wait as far as tree service. They arrived as I was going to work and immediately went to work laying down protective covers over ground plants, etc. When I got home, it was almost impossible to tell such big machinery had been on my lawn. They removed the tree, several limbs and left hardly a trace. A great company.

Davey did a great job. They provided a detailed estimate and was able to schedule the job almost immediately. Their estimate was the middle of 3 estimates I got. The team showed up on time, were professional, did all of the work as outlined in the estimate, and cleaned up before leaving. I would recommend Davey and would use them again.

Tom Holden from Davey came out today and evaluated several large trees in our yard. Tom really knows his stuff and can explain things very well. He wrote up a very affordable treatment plan for our trees.

They were excellent! They did a very nice job. Two individuals came out to do the work. From the time we called them, it may have taken a couple of weeks to get on their schedule. They are coming back out in the spring.

It went great all around. They came out within a week to do an estimate. I asked the guy (I can't remember who it was) whether I would need to have the rest of the tree removed, and he told me it should survive. I appreciated his honesty - one of their competitors told me it wouldn't survive the next wind and I should have it removed as well. The job was to remove three or four large branches/trunks from a Bartlett (Bradford?) pear tree that had been broken off the tree by the wind, and were lying in the yard. They told us they were stacked up for eight weeks due to the high demand caused by the storm, but that for my size job they might be able to slip it in within a few weeks. And they did. We came home one evening and the branches, and all evidence they had been there, were gone. No leaves or sawdust left lying around, just a nice, clean yard. My only complaint? I asked them to notify me when they were on their way out to do the work, which they didn't do. I was surprised - pleasantly - when I came home to find the job done so well, but I would have preferred the call ahead of time. This minor complaint won't keep me from using them again in the future.

The tree removal was fast. My neighbor was there when they removed the trees and he said they were hard working and very professional. The stumps were ground after all the underground lines were marked. id

It went well. We had an arbor sales guy come and give us a quote for doing maintenance on an old oak tree we have in our backyard. Then after their recommendation, we decided to proceed with having them apply an in-ground fertlizer for the oak tree. We realized we could not afford their tree cutting service. Yet we found a cheaper option and we slightly regret not saving up to have DAVEY do the work. These guys know their stuff.

We originally scheduled a visit earlier in the week, but rescheduled. We were in awe of Tom Holden's expertise from Davey Tree so much, that we cancelled two other visits from competitors. Tom noticed that a few of our maples' roots were beginning to strangle their own roots. He recommended a procedure to eliminate this later in the fall when the trees were dormant. He gave us a quote on the procedure, a fertilization prior to the procedure and the tree trimming . All were very reasonable and kept me from having to do it myself, which means safer for me to watch, than do. We have had the trimming and fertilization already done and are waiting for the fall weather to coax the trees into dormancy to perform this procedure.they recommended. Well worth the fee.

The experience was a delight start to finish. Booking was easy and Dan Schwartz, the local arborist came soon after. He was very thorough and gave good advice and options. He was responsive to my emails and questions. On the work day Chad Allen, Dan Cardwell and Joe Hernandez did an amazing job. They worked efficiently and the whole job took two hours...actually that includes a huge tree they removed from my neighbors yard too! Considering the amount work done and the results to my yard, I consider that the price was very reasonable. I will be using them in the future for maintenance and tree surgery. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you!

They trimmed the trees and they removed a few and the clean-up was so good you just didn't know they were even here. Their estimates are always well done, they don't pull any quick changes on you, they're honest and their workers are very nice people.

The Davey Tree Company's prices are moderately high but we haven't had good luck with other companies so we've continued with them. They are pretty responsive and their professionalism is excellent.

Honestly admitted that the is a conflict of interest in their services as they are contracted by DuPont for Imprelis contamination assessment and tree removal services. Hence disqualified themselves from providing an Arborist to assess damages to my property. Honesty gets an A . Integrity gets an F since it sounds like they are paid the lie for DuPont.

I think they are a good company and they follow up. Their price is not cheap but they are very professional and consistent.

It was fine. They did an excellent job. They were here when they said they would be here. They did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. They did a good job. There's nothing that they did that I was upset with. In fact, they did a very good job. They cleaned up after themselves when they trimmed the tree. They took the branches out.

Can't say enough good things about this company. I had two previous contractors fail to show up and remove the brush from my backyard. It had been sitting there for almost 2 weeks and my grass was dying and I'm sure my neighbors didn't appreciate their new view over the Memorial weekend. Everyone I called was booked out at least 2 weeks. I called Davey and spoke with Sandra. She was so polite and helpful, I felt like a returning customer. Sandra was able to contact the crew and fit me in the same day. Guys came out did a quick job, backyard looked great! Can't thank Sandra and Davey enough. By the way, their price was cheaper than the oher two companies that failed to show. I will most certainly use them for other services and recommend them in the future. You just don't see customer service that this much anymore.

We had two 39' dead honey locust trees in our front yard. The trees died from exposure to an Imprelis application (grass ferilization) and the Dupont Company hired Davey Tree to remove the trees for us. We did not have to pay for the removal, so that is why I cannot comment on price. The work they did was excellent. They showed up when they said they would, did all the work with no damage to our lawn, cut down the trees, dug out the roots, removed all wood chips and back filled with top soil and cleaned up every bit of the mess. And, the guys were professional and explained everything. We would definitely use Davey Tree again!

No problems with the work they performed which was to treat my flowering trees and feed the pine trees.

The quote experience with The Davey Tree Co - Canton Township was nice. They came and looked over the property, looked over the trees I want treated. They gave me an estimate which I agreed to. The price is fair as far as I can tell. The staff are very nice people and very accommodating.

They were prompt, hardworking & polite. Will have them back in future.

Had scheduling conflict with DTE moving wires for tree removal. Were very helpful in trying to reschedule. I wish they would have been able to remove trees instead of final cotractor.
