Somerset Painting & Professional Improvements

Somerset does great quality work! The exterior of my home was neglected for a number of years. It had lots of wood damage and was in serious need of a paint brush. Kevin took care of my estimate. Detailed, with pictures like you have never seen. The hard-working crew (Austin & Joe) made lots of good suggestions along the way and went the extra mile. I could not be happier.

The job was done quickly and easily and their price was much lower than the other company. We are calling them again to help us with another small home repair. They are very professional, courteous, and efficient.

We were immediately impressed when their representative came immediately, then quickly and thoroughly determined all of the painting/repairing that our house required. By the next day we received a 31 page thorough, detailed proposal, with pictures, outlining all that they would do. And when the work started they were quick, clean, neat, efficient, and the work done to our high standards. We have a very large house that is 30 years old. It looks like a new house. They will return later in the Spring to power wash the brick and refinish our extensive 3 decks. We are very, very happy with their work.

The crew was professional, arrived on time, performed an excellent job, completed the project in two days and were very opened to working with my job schedule. And they left no mess! They sanded and painted kitchen cabinets, repaired peeling plaster on 2 ceilings and painted the ceilings and painted a basement wall. A Professional paint project completed in 1 day. The kitchen and bathroom look beautiful. They had to plaster the bathroom ceiling due to the amount of mildew on it. I just had new kitchen cabinets, sink and appliances installed and tried to paint the kitchen myself. Even though it is a small kitchen, it was built a long time ago and I found it to be a very difficult painting project. They did such a nice job - the walls now seem to blend with the new cabinets. Great clean up!

The painter scraped & repaired bubbled paint in a bedroom & did an excellent job. He also painted another bedroom, including a ceiling and closet. His work was also excellent & he finished all of this in one day. I was pleased with the work that was done, the time frame for completing the work & the billing procedure - an email after the work was completed, no deposit or payment due on the day the work was completed. I also was impressed with the owner's involvement in human trafficking (Rick's Story on YouTube).

We decided to not have the work done. They came out and give us a quote for all of the rooms we needed painting and we were able to find a lower price so we didn’t move forward with somerset. Their staff was prompt and courteous and I wouldn’t hesitate to have them come back out to quote additional work

After getting 4 quotes from companies with good reviews, I decided to hire Somerset for painting the exterior of my residence. All of the quotes were similar in price. I decided on Somerset because of the detail provided in the quote and their policy that helps to ensure a satisfied customer. The job is complete and I am very satisfied with the end result. I would hire Somerset again. For more detail, feel free to read on. Not only did Somerset provide a very detailed estimate, they also set expectations that they were scheduling 8+ weeks in advance. As the approximate start date got closer, they provided a status. Somerset also provided a color consultant to assist with the color selection. Do not discount this benefit. Picking a color is not always straightforward. The first step of the process was to power wash the house. Somerset exceeded expectations by not only cleaning the surfaces to be painted, they also cleaned the cement front porch and sidewalk leading up to the house. The crew worked long hours to get the job done as quickly as possible. This kept the household disruptions and equipment sprawl (ladders, drop cloths, etc) to a minimum. The crew was also very careful to tape off where needed and was very, very neat. I did not find any paint drops or spills anywhere. After the job was completed, there were a couple of touch ups required. I exercised the Somerset policy of holding off on paying for the project until I was satisfied. Somerset schedule the crew for the touch up work and yes, I am very satisfied. Thank you Somerset for a job well done! I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The entire process was great. From the initial meeting and estimate, to the scheduling of the work and the final product, dealing with Somerset was great. Matt (the installer) went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right, and I couldn't be happier with the final product!

Somerset did an excellent job throughout the entire process for painting my whole exterior, siding repair and replacement, and new gutters (through Allied gutter). My house needed quite a bit of exterior work done before and during the painting project and they were able to complete it all with high quality. Somerset is very competitive in terms of price and is at the top in terms of detail and quality. About 1 week after I agreed to work with Somerset I needed an emergency repair around the outside of a window and they were very quick to respond and help, even before they could come out to do the project. I had MANY questions throughout the entire process and they answered all of them. VERY easy to work with, very responsive, always willing to help. I am beyond glad I went with Somerset!

The original paint on my house was quite old and in many places caulking started to fall off and created lots of gaps. They did a very thorough job re-caulk all the gaps around the house. Before starting the paint, they did a great job covering all the corners, bricks and wood. The entire house turned out beautiful.

They are wonderful to work with , the Job was completed on time and excellent craftsmanship. I will hire them again. Great Job -- you will not be disappointed.

Very good. House looks clean and fresh. And we don't Need to clean out gutters anymore.
