Description of Work: Jim looked over a complex lighting project at my house, was very helpful and forthright, and connected me with an electrician to do the project, as the project involved difficult electrical items. I would use Jim for any handyman and carpentry projects as they arise.

Description of Work: We hired Mr. Gardner to replace a door that was damaged at my sons apartment in St. Joe. We called Mr. Gardner and explained the situation and what was needed and he agreed to meet my son and fix the door. He was about two hours late for the appt and my son could not stick around so we told him to just go into the apartment without us being there. The work he did was great but he quoted us anywhere from $100 - $200.00. We received a bill for $275.00. We would have appreciated a call stating the bill was going to be well above what he quoted before having this door done - we probably would have just bought a cheap door at Lowes and paid their fee of $130 which would have totalled around $200.00.

Description of Work: Jim is very professional and easy to work with. He provided quality work within budget. Despite of weather conditions he was able to finish the job on time without sacrificing the quality

Description of Work: Jim painted our entry and did a very thorough job. He also did several small electrical projects and hung a barn door. I will continue to use as a general purpose handyman.

Description of Work: He has completed several small jobs for my business, including drywall, painting, internal concrete wall repair, for PhycoTech, and did an excellent job!

Description of Work: Great job and on time. We hired him to widen our fence's gate and Jim did a great job finishing it on time despite raining. Jim is a bit expensive but a true pro with quality on his hand.

Description of Work: Our summer home was broken into and we hired Jim to initially replace four doors. After meeting Jim my husband and I decided that we wanted him to do some other much needed jobs on the property. Our house is old and had not had a lot of repairs done in the past. Jim ended replacing four exterior doors, rebuilding and resizing all of the thresholds and frames. He also replaced two screen doors. In addition, about eight of our windows had rotting sills and frames. He replaced all of those and painted. We have a large downstairs and had just removed wallpaper in four rooms. This wallpaper had been on for about 30 years. All of the walls had glue residue and a few of the walls had the drywall damaged. Jim washed the walls, primed them fixed all cracks and loose drywall and then painted the entire downstairs. The painting and finishings are fantastic!!! Every line is straight and not a drop of paint anywhere. You would think that the house was brand new. No one can believe that it's the same house both inside and out. Jim is extremely professional, meticulous and honest. I plan on using him again and have recommended him to my friends.
