Description of Work: We had French doors installed in our walk-out basement as well as a new front entry door and sidelights (previous job). The entry door has never fit properly and the finish has had to be restained 3 times in six years. They assured us the doors would be fixed with the order of our French doors Well, guess what? they decided after the fact that the warranty period was expired. Terrible service and grossly over priced.

Description of Work: Our experience was excellent from start to finish. First we went to the 5 Mile Road showroom and looked at the various products. We were especially interested in the in-between-the-glass blinds feature. We made an appointment for a sales rep. Rip showed up on time, and was not at all high pressure. He was extremely knowledgeable about windows & construction in general and all the Pella products in particular. He measured the windows & doorwall that we were interested in replacing. After he left, we did more research and decided on 2 casement windows and a doorwall from the Designer series of wood windows. These admittedly were not the least expensive, but they were judged best for our purposes. We called him back the following week. The next day another gentlemen came, measured again, and took our deposit. An appointment was made for installation six weeks later. | |The day before the installation date, we got a call telling us what time they would be here. The next day, the installation crew showed up on time. Steven and John did an excellent job, working 5 ½ hours straight through and cleaned up completely afterward. They walked us through every feature of the windows. | |We love the windows/doorwall. The first thing we noticed was how quiet the rooms now were. All are high quality in every way. They are Energy Star rated, work smoothly, were carefully and expertly installed by a factory crew, and make the rooms look more elegant. They will be a great addition this winter. We plan on doing the rest of our windows next year and will definitely repeat our experience with Pella.

Description of Work: they have given us three years, interest free to pay for the installation for all of our windows in a 4000 sq.ft. house, which was built in the early 1960's.We choose Pella for their quality, not the lowest cost. this winter has proven that they have worked well. We are paying $500. per month,and will have payment in full before our three year limit. |We would highly recommend them.

This is one of the best companies to use in the area. They are very professional and will go out of their way to ensure you are one hundred percent satisfied before they leave.
Description of Work: This contractor installed 16 double insulated windows in our home. They took out the old windows and discarded them along with all waste. They took a full working day to complete the job. They also helped install extra molding around two older windows we had.
