Handle With Care Moving & Delivery

I worked with Handle with Care for my latest move. They were very professional and quick. So fast! I had everything pre-boxed and ready to go which made things a lot easier. They loaded 30+ boxes and 5 rooms in 2 hours and unloaded in under an hour and a half. The 3 man crew was well worth it as one worker was wrapping and padding, while the other two were loading. It was very efficient. They removed the doors at the new house to get everything in and were careful not to interfere with other contractors work while on the new property. They laid down carpet protectors to make sure that nothing was tracked into the houses which was nice. Pricing was adjusted to their set pricing and a 10% discount was applied from Angies list coupon which was great.

The move turned out well. They were one time and were pretty efficient.

The guys were great. Worked quickly and efficiently with great care.

Ray came out to provide an estimate; he worked very quickly through the house (much faster than some of the other companies I received quotes from) and answered any questions I had regarding the move. In this situation he assured me that the movers doing the pack/load would be the same movers doing the unload, which was preferable to me. Ray was also able to give me firm dates for pack, load, and delivery. The crew of 5 arrived shortly after the scheduled window in the morning and worked extremely hard all day to pack up our ~1800sqft house and load it into the truck. The crew was extremely friendly, each introduced themselves on the way inside, and each was very friendly throughout the day as we talked. I was very pleased with the size of the work crew, the work effort of each crew member, and the care with which all of our china, crystal, and furniture was packed and loaded. Note due to the age of our house there was quite a bit of maneuvering of furniture through narrow spaces which the crew accomplished without a single ding. The following morning the crew of 2 arrived right on time and worked continuously to unload the truck and re-assemble furniture and place furniture as we desired. They were also friendly enough to cart out all of the packing materials and boxes from boxes which we were able to unload while they worked. While we have not completed our unpack yet I am comfortable that in the extremely unlikely event we find damaged items Handle With Care will be receptive to any issues we find. As a whole I was extremely pleased with my communications with Ray at the beginning, the responsiveness that led to us finalizing the quote, and overwhelmingly pleased with the quality of the workmanship and attitude in the packing and delivery of our house. I would definitely use them in the future.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good; it turned out well. They started out at my parents house to pick up some things they had moved over to our house. They were done very quickly and actually moved an extra couple of things around for them, which was good. The customer service from both of the movers was great, we were really impressed, They were really nice guys and hard workers.

I'm sure the company is good, but there was confusion when making this purchase as to how scheduling worked. I will be more careful now.

It went very well. They did a great job of packing everything. Had a remote control broken in the move process that they promptly replaced. They picked up the broken remote and had the new one mailed right to our new condo. This was really frosting on a already very good cake. All questions were answered both before, during, and after the move. The crew worked hard and was very courteous and polite. This is the company to do your move.

We were very happy with the service we received. I worried a little because we booked a 3 man crew, but were notified the day before that the third man would not be available. However, my concerns were unnecessary. The crew was on time and got right to work. They moved quickly despite the temperature being over 90 degrees that day. The entire move went smoothly, and with the 10% off coupon for Angie's list members the price was better than I expected. There is a good chance we will move again in a year and I will definitely be hiring this company again.

The moving truck and 4-5 movers showed up pretty much on time. We had to run to a closing but after a short walk through of the house the started work immediately. They wrapped everyrthing in shrink wrap(bedding) or pads (wood). They stated we had dome a pretty good job of boxing thing up so tha thelped them load our furniture much quicker then I expected. Basically they had our whole house loaded in approx. 3-4 hours. A few days later the same crew delivered and unloaded our stuff at our new house. They called about 45 minutes ahead of time to say they were comming. Again after a short walk through they started unloading and placed furniture and boxes where we asked them to. They were so quick my wife and I were hopping to keep up. We caught the head of their crew carring a entire sofa by himself - easily - and it was a big sofa. Crazy. After moving the furniture they sat up those pieces they had taken apart for the move. These guys are professionals. They were friendly, polite and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The move was fast and great. The owner was very polite and professional. This was our first time using a moving company in Michigan and we will definitely use them again.

Oh my, this company is great! Prior to the move, they were very helpful with advice and packing supplies. The moving team of Andy, Steve and Nelson were amazing. They were efficient , hard-working and pleasant. They had to move a harp, a spinning wheel and many other delicate things. They treated my possessions with respect and care. I was quickly relieved of any concerns I might have had.. The entire move flowed quickly, easily and with no damage. I have moved numerous times before and this was the quickest , most professional and most pleasant move of my experience. Don't call anyone else,this company is the BEST!!!

I just called to check availability before I purchased one of the coupons on Angie's list. The person that I spoke to said they are not available for another month. I think when you purchase a coupon, you get last priority on dates. I would not purchase a coupon or do service with these guys.

If I were to give the service 1 out of 5 stars I'd probably give it a 3. It took them about six hours to do the move, which I thought took entirely too long. The distance of the drive from the location I moved from to my home was only about a 12 minute drive, so they just really took a long time kind of preparing the furniture and my personal items to be moved from the apartment to the home. It took them about four hours to pack up a two bedroom apartment. The entire move cost around $800 and I thought that was very expensive. They told me that the $299 for the deal was not applicable even though they added it. He was like, "You live in a high-rise apartment," but we have elevators so I didn't understand that because they didn't have to go up any stairs or anything. They were very prompt and came out within a week of me calling them. We set up the appointment and they made it. They took pretty good care of everything and were on time.

Everything was wrapped with care. The movers were extremely polite. One daughter had more hanging garments she was going to move herself and the movers offered to cover them with a clean trash bag and bind the hangers at the top. One move involved three movers and this worked well so one could wrap and two could load simultaneously. The smaller $500 move only required two movers.

Move date was Monday, July 1. They called me on the previous Friday to let me know that the truck was in the shop for the weekend, and they needed to move the pickup time from 8:30 to around 11am. Added a third loader for the load-in to compensate for the time difference, which was a very nice decision. Truck was mostly on time (got a little lost, but so does EVERYONE coming to our old house) and load-in took 3 hours with 3 people. The truck was larger than we expected, and too big to fit back to our strangely placed house, so the movers had to park the truck about 70 feet away and move everything from there. This wasn't a problem for us, but I felt bad for the loaders! However, they were efficient, professional, and competent. The truck met us at the new house the next day. Two men did the unloading, took about 2.5 hours. Truck arrived on time, once again everything was very efficient. Nothing was broken, misplaced, or damaged. They underestimated the weight (estimate was 5500lbs, real was ~6250lbs), so the bill was the full 10% above the estimate. I was glad to have an estimate that guaranteed no more than a 10% increase - it could've been worse. Even with the increase from the estimate, their quote was lower than comparable companies in the area. Overall, we were very pleased. All of the loaders were nice and did a great job. This was our first time using a moving company instead of doing it ourselves, and I will never go back to UHaul again!!

The three men did an excellent and quick job. I was impressed.

Our move went great. We were scheduled for a Saturday afternoon move, the movers called when they were 15 minutes away so we knew they were on the way. When the movers arrived, they wasted no time and got everything loaded up in their truck, and unloaded even quicker. They were professional, and quick--and everything arrived intact and in good shape.

Called to make an appt. Appt secured. Had to change the date 24 hours before and it was no problem, the young lady rescheduled me and I was promptly sent a confirmation email. Mover's were prompt, quick and efficient. Great Move....if only I had been packed more efficiently, they could have moved everything...so make sure all is packed before they get there. Thank you.

Handle with Care movers were great. They showed up on time and moved quickly to get our entire apartment packed, transported, and unpacked within a two hour time period. I would definitely use them again.

When I called to schedule, the woman was helpful and got me set up right away. The movers were on time and were quick and efficient packing up/loading my home. The unloading seemed less efficient and movers were not as careful as I would have liked. They were just OK. If I moved again, I probably wouldn't choose them.

They were great! They came on time, put plastic down on the stairs and halls to minimize tracking, wrapped and covered all the furniture carefully, carried it into the truck, and set it up in the other house. They worked fast and efficiently. My wife, who has used movers more than I, said they were the best she'd ever seen. To top it off, they did it in 2 hrs. less than the estimate they had given (which was very reasonable to start with).

The movers packed all of my belongings in Ann Arbor and moved them to Chicago the very next day. They were professional, polite, and on-time. They were careful in the packing of my belongings, and they put everything in the new house where I asked them to. I would recommend them to anyone for moving services.

Showed up on time - when they came across loose change -notified me immediately also anything broken notified me immediately. Worked straight through with very very little break time - was very careful with fragile items. Personalized the wrapping when requested. When arriving the next day - they actually came early as an option. Had to deal with some logistical issues and rearrangement- did with a smile and enthusiasm - they were engaged in exactly what I wanted but also very professional. Can't say enough about them - no hanging the truck in open bay for several weeks - they basically were as fast as possible.

Handle with Care are wonderful movers! I have used them twice: first time to move the contents of my 1 bedroom apartment into a storage unit, and then most recently, to move the contents of that storage unit into my house. I had 2 men do the move each time. They are very prompt, very efficient, and very careful. On the first move, they wrapped up all my furniture with plastic wrap and moved my whole apartment in 1 hour. They charge an hourly wage, but do not dawdle to try to stretch the time. They work very quickly and efficiently, while also being careful not to damage the walls/furniture. The most recent move into my house involved a little more stuff and they also placed each item in the room I asked them too. Total time 1.5 hours! Very reasonably priced compared to other movers. On this move they did scratch my wood table, but were very professional about it. They apologized and said they would send out a guy to retouch it free of charge next week. Without fail, I was promptly contacted to set up a time for the touch-up guy to come by. He was very friendly and fixed my table in no time. It looks great now! He even offered to touch up any other nicks/scratches I found, even though they weren't the movers' fault. Very good company!!

They were on time, efficient, polite. It was a very good experience. The price was competitive & reasonable.
