Duct Works Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning

Very responsive and reasonably priced. Did not push extras. Thorough cleaning of a fairly dirty system, no questions asked.

I was very impressed with Jim and Duct Works. When I called, he was able to give me an estimate over the phone and scheduled an appointment for the same week. After a walk through to count the vents and returns, I was quoted a very fair price for the duct cleaning and was given a discount on the dryer vent cleaning. The entire duct/dryer vent cleaning took just over an hour. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for duct cleaning service.

They came in, introduced themselves, explained the process, and started the work. They protected our floors with covers and wearing booties plus placed their equipment carefully so it would not damage any walls or furniture. They were friendly and answered any and all questions we asked throughout the process. They did an excellent job of cleaning up behind themselves and left our home in good order. We give them the highest marks because they did an excellent job and were friendly and courteous.

Jim, the owner, provided excellent service from the get-go. He gave me a very competitive quote over the phone and was able to schedule the job for the very next day. They provided a thorough cleaning job, were very efficient and courteous. I WILL use this company again. Absolutely A++!

Jim and his co-worker arrived about 1/2 hour after estimated arrival time. It was a cold, nasty day but they covered the entry way with a canvas that kept the weather outside. Lots of hoses and "stuff" (think dryer vent hose but maybe 3 times that size) came through the door, Three levels to the house and I wondered about my new paint with all these going up and down the stairs. The floors were covered with canvas and the guys put covers on their shoes - which they actually removed each time they went to the truck :o) Anyway, Jim had estimated about 2 hours & finished (with 15 registers) in about an hour - and the price exactly as quoted. We've been "remodeling" for a year so there was plaster dust everywhere, with a nice pile in the bottom of the furnace, according to Jim. It was exactly what we asked for. We might have saved a very few dollars with someone else but could not have asked for better service or more consideration for our home. No issues at all with the newly painted walls.

The provider was prompt and courteous. He explained the process in detail, and was happy to answer any questions I had. I searched a while for companies that provided air duct cleaning, and wanted to go with a company that specialized in the service, rather than a company that provided the service 'on the side', or as an extra to a primary business. I believe the work was done well and in a professional manner.

Was on time, had all equipment needed. I expected two men, not one. He was careful about shoes, but left a lot of dirt around the registers and in laundry room where he cleaned out the dryer vent. He also worked very fast and I can' t be sure how thorough a job he did in that amount of time. Seemed like he was out of here in not much more than an hour - that was 22 vents and a dryer vent. I sent a note to the owner asking if it was typical to do this job in that short amount of time and mentioned the dirt. No reply!

He arrived promptly on time and was very polite and professional. He greeted me with a handshake and a smile. He brought another employee with him to assist and he introduced me to him as well. Before they started any work they laid down tarp and put coverings over their shoes. Then they counted all the vents and returns and checked out the furnace. Before they started working they showed me the price and we also discussed the dryer vents which were not initially discussed when I made the appointment. He recommended that the dryer vents be cleaned because one was 25 feet long and there was most likely a lot of build up. I agreed and he gave me a great deal because he was already onsite. Then they got to work. They hooked up the suction to the furnace and started by removing all the vents and blowing everything towards the furnace, where the vacuum then sucked it outside into their truck. He showed me the ducts before and after. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! There was even a little issue with the furnace kicking back on after they performed the service. He called his technician, sent pictures to him on his phone, and very quickly the issue was resolved and the furnace was up and running (a wire had just gotten knocked off). He began at 8 am and was finished around 11 am. I will be calling him back to do the air ducts and dryer vent at my personal property as well.

Honestly, take their best review and all I have to do is say yes, from initial contact to completion. I could only add I wouldn't mind being the owner. He runs an excellent company,

They arrived within 5 minutes of the time they said they would be here. They were very carefull about not messing up the house and used tarps throughout the house. They were here for about 2 hours. We are very happy with the service that they provided.

Jim came exactly on time. Laid cloths to cover my carpeting, also wore booties. Worked neatly and professionally. The price was well below what I was quoted online by other companies. I will recommend him to other people in my condo association, and would not hesitate to use him again.

They arrived on time and as far as we can tell did a great job cleaning the ducts in our house. There were 25 vents in all that got cleaned. They also looked at our dryer vent; it was very clogged (about 20 years worth), but since the vent was very short they only charged $20 for that. They said we had a lot of drywall dust in our vents which I can believe because I think a prior owner finished the basement. We have a glossy black piano and a week later, very little dust on in it; none that you can really see. So, so far, so good!

Very clean, friendly and answered all my questions. They cleaned up everything and left my home just as they found it....except for less gunk in the ducts and dryer vent.

They were prompt in arriving, showed me the equipment they would use, both what was used in the house and the truck, explained how the work would be performed and showed me the inside of a vent before they started so I could see the dust accumulation they would be cleaning out. When the job was completed the house was left in clean condition. I would definately use them again and recommend them to my friends.

He came in exactly at his cost estimate for the number of vents in the house and completed the work very promptly. He was incredibly personable and professional, and I'll absolutely use him again in a couple of years the next time we need duct cleaning.

The service techs showed up on time and were very efficient they moved from top to bottom and were in and out in just a couple of hours.

Jim the owner personally came out on the same day that I called. All ducts were cleaned extremely well. My main problem was with the dryer vent which he was able to get to pristine condition. I highly recommend this company for any issues you might be having with your vents.

The entire service went very well. Jim Koster (company president) did the work with a co-worker. He gave me an accurate estimate on the phone, then arrived on time, inspected all of the registers and returns, and did a thorough job of cleaning all of the ducts and the dryer vent (which was half price because of an Angie's List coupon). Jim was very friendly and personable, and explained everything he did. He took time to show me the truck-size vacuum equipment he used, which was impressive - definitely industrial level suction capabilities. I feel that the ducts in my home are now clean and free of the substantial dust and dirt that came from the remodeling that I've recently done in my kitchen, dining room and living room. They were very careful in the house, and when the job was complete they returned everything to its former state. I would highly recommend Duct Works as an exceptional choice of a locally owned and operated business that will do a high quality job with great customer service. I was very impressed.

I called in the morning for an estimate and Jim called me back that morning and gave me the estimate based upon the number of vents (source and return) in my house. He had another job in the area that same day and came out that day in the afternoon. Very nice guy and was impressed with the process. Will definitely use him again.

Jim responded to our call within a few hours. Jim quoted me a price along with an explanation of services. Jim informed me that he would be at our home along with his guys. This was a very good sign. We were comfortable with the patience that Jim exhibited as we were full of questions. The service experience was timely, professional and most importantly the gentlemen were very patient as we needed to shuffle our children away from the excitement and on to the park. Great job Jim. The service was excellent and the team was very professional. I was very impressed with how well they cleaned the vents and ductwork. The results have been amazing and my dust levels in the house have been dramatically reduced. Very nice to work with and very prompt.
