They had to investigate the whole house and found the problem in the attic. They had to cut a whole in the ceiling and did some rewiring to fix the problem. It took a significant amount of time to do the job. They were competent in completing the work and I haven't had any problems since. It was his son that did the majority of the work.

They were prompt, professional, informative and their prices are extremely fair.

Alan and I spoke at great detail with what my husband and I wanted to do in our kitchen that is being remodeled. We also had a few random requests around the home including installing a light in our living room and moving an electrical outlet. We wanted him to install a 4 prong 240 outlet for our new range (as we have a wall oven that is hardwired). After an in depth conversation with him he told me he would call during the weekend (I had spoken with him on Wednesday night). We have yet to hear from him; it's been 4 days. Will not use his services. I've learned that if a contractor of any kind cannot simply return a call when they say they will; then counting on them to do work in a timely, professional manner; is not something that you should do. He had recommended a carpenter to come install the cabinets as the store we went to order had originally quoted us a large dollar amount; but after getting the final quote from the store; the contractor he had recommended was too expensive. He had also not called back when he said he would; heard from him the day after he said he was to call. With something as important as remodeling your kitchen (we also have 2 small children) timing and professionalism is very important to us.

He was excellent. You couldn't plug anything in including 3-prong or a standard 20th century things. I loved him. He was right on time. He has a son, who is a great kid that came with him who is also a master electrician. The two of them were fierce and went straight through the house and did everything. I told him I needed a ceiling fan and he asked if I had them. He said if I would go get them, he would put them in right then. I told him I needed a bathroom fan for more ventilation and he called his wholesaler and told me to go buy it and get his significant discount. I told him that I would be right back. He didn't have to do that and that is what I loved about him. He told me the next time I call him to prepare a laundry list instead of just having him do one thing. He is a wicked, wicked nice guy. He lives here is Westbrook, which is perfect. I liked him so much that I bought he and his son sub sandwiches.

It was a positive experience and he came in exactly as quoted. He did the job earlier than scheduled.

He was fantastic and I would use him again in a heartbeat. The experience was wonderful and every aspect was great. He was professional, prompt and the price was great. He came out for something else once that ended up being very minor and he just fixed it and left. He never billed me.

Brilliant. They showed up on time, every time, got all permits, scheduled everything, even did extra work, came in under bid, and were done early.

After the estimate and ordering of the lamps I called twice, but did not hear back. I felt the man was personable and I had read a positive Angie's List rating, but I was disappointed not to have heard back from him.

Excellent! Alan originally scheduled the appointment for a Friday morning, had an opening on Wednesday, and called Tuesday to see if it was possible to reschedule. He arrived right on time and worked for about two hours. He was very personable and worked steadily for two hours.
