Work was very difficult due to age of fixture and poor access. Alan went above and beyond to hand make the repair. Fixed perfectly.

I highly recommend him. He was prompt. He charged me the agreed upon amount and he did a top quality job. (I used to wire homes) I noticed that he took no shortcuts. I am a senior citizen and I would hire him again and recommend him to my friends and family. He also noticed that I had a broken bulb in a ceiling outlet that I could not get out. He removed for me without me mentioning it to him.

We paid for a 99 dollar coupon for Alan to do some 2 hours of electrical repair work at our home. He returned my initial call promptly and set up a date to do the repairs. He came to our home right on time with his son Ben. We found both of them to be professional, very friendly, and easy to work with. He and his son spent an hour diagnosing the problem in our screened in porch and subsequently replaced both gfi switches. I then expected them to pack up and leave but Alan did something I have never had a tradesman do: He asked if there were any other electrical problems he could help us with. What a pleasant surprise! I said, why yes, the two light switches on the staircase don't work. Alan and his son promptly switched both of the them out and only charged $50 for parts. We recommend Alan highly for any of your electrical needs.

Great! Alan and his son were very polite and efficient, and also clearly knew what they were talking about. We had to reschedule the original appointment but they were flexible and willing to work with my schedule. They did our laundry list of items efficiently and promptly. I would use them again.

It went smoothly. Alan called me back quickly and was able to make room for me in his busy schedule. He handled all of the concerns on my list and all is working well now. He did a great job, I am glad that we found him!

Our smoke alarms had been going off intermittently, despite being relatively new with new batteries. Within a couple of days, we had a (LOUD) false alarm, then a detector that wouldn't stop chirping. It was driving us nuts. Called our previous provider who couldn't get to us for about a week. Starting calling other providers on the List- mostly got machines. Alan was the only one who picked up when I called. He apologized for not being able to come over right away but did tell us he'd be here the next morning at 8am. He (and his son) showed up on time, inspected our detectors and explained that the type we had were known to have issues. We agreed that we needed to replace them all, both for safety and our peace of mind. Alan went out, purchased them for us and installed them. He was professional, friendly and charged what we felt was a fair price for the work and service. Almost don't want to write this review as it'll make him more difficult to get the next time we need him. But we were really happy with his work!

He came as promised, explained everything he was going to do and gave us a price that was very fair. He finished the job perfectly and even had to work a little longer than he expected without adding to the bill. Very professional and good work.

Alan was on time and very efficient. He sorted out a wiring issue for me and took the time to open up the fixtures for me and put my new LED bulbs in. I would use him again.

They were on time and completed in a reasonable amount of time. They left a small hole in the plaster wall next to the bathroom outlet which, at the time, was covered by wallpaper, so I didn't know that had happened until I stripped the wallpaper. That was pretty aggravating.

Alan and his son (co-worker) were very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. We were very happy with their work.

I felt a lot of confidence in Alan. He is experienced, professional, amiable and explains things clearly. I won't hesitate to use him again.

Provider arrived at the time agreed upon. I had changed the jobs slightly from what we had discussed on the phone . He listened and adjusted to the changes. One of the jobs was installing a chandelier made by a blacksmith. There was a piece needed to hang it that was missing (a black canopy set). Alan found pieces in his truck that allowed us to proceed with the project. This was really important to me. He and his partner installed two other light setups, one in the bathroom, and one in a large closet. I am very pleased with both. Both Alan and his partner were very personable and polite. It was a pleasure to have them doing the projects.

It wasn't a difficult job for Alan but an issue with three way switches that I have not been able to correctly wire so that the switches would work correctly. They work now, only after a quick fix by Alan. I am happy that I used Angie's list to find an electrician, as I now have established a connection with one that I will definitely hire for future electrical jobs.

Smooth as silk, despite wrong doorbell (my bad) and wiring problem (builder's bad) - everything still ended up installed exactly as ordered. Couldn't ask for more.

Alan and his son were both great to work with. They did such a good job we hired them two more times since to put up fixtures and a chandelier. I will use them again in the future and will refer family and friends to them. Professional and knowledgeable.

I originally called and left a message, which they unfortunately they lost. I persisted because my sister-in-law had really good luck with them. I spoke to Alan on 9/29/14. He was booked out quite a while, so he said he'd call me. We spoke in early November and scheduled for 8am on 11/19. They arrived shortly after 8. I showed them where all the wiring was, both original and TWC installed. They tried to trace the lines but they were not well done originally and it was difficult. They finally found some wires that hadn't been connected and fixed them. They also looked at another problem for me that hadn't been planned. They need a specialized part and will come back when the find one in their back stock or elsewhere. They cleaned up the little dust they stirred up when they pulled out the jacks. They were friendly and I was very comfortable with them in the house.

Our home had outdated and malfunctioning smoke alarms, obviously something one would want fixed quickly. Alan was able to squeeze us in immediately and arrived in under an hour. He diagnosed the problem, installed new smoke alarms, and brought the house up to current code by replacing the type of detector in one part of the house. Very happy with his service.

Wonderful! They were punctual, they did the work in a timely manner, they did what was required, there were no extra costs and they just did a good job. It went very well.

Minor repairs. It actually would have been cheaper had I hired him directly since I didn't end up needing 2 hours of electrical work that I'd bought as a special on Angie's list.

Not a bad guy, just could not perform service for me. Would use in future if needed.
