We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out very good. They were exceptionally good. One of the confusing thing was that I thought I had purchased the voucher from Angie's List, but he billed me again for the same amount. We were real happy with the service, it was done fast, and it was a good job.

alan works with his son and they where a great team....walked me through what i need for parts....very gracious when i watched and asked questions...would be pleased to refer and utlilize alan electric in future...

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was sort of okay. He was great, but the ad was incorrect. Whatever the amount of the deal was, he explained that it was a mistake and was not for that amount. It was still a good deal, but was not as good a deal as the advertisement for the Big Deal said. He did all the work and I probably ended up paying more than I should have because I did not have enough work for him to cover what the amount was. Their were two of them and they were only here for about 40 minutes. He told me to call him if I had any more little jobs and he would come and do them for free. He did the work and was fine, but I did not get three hours' worth of work. He also included some materials which were not part of the deal. I believe him and think he is an honest guy. It was good on every level except I got less than the deal specified.

He was prompt, efficient and friendly and explained exactly what he would do. He did all of this with little mess and it was completed within the time specified. I was very pleased with his work.

It was great! Arrived on time, completed the work in a professional and timely manner. Very friendly, cleaned up after themselves. Will definetly use them again!

Mr. Eger and his son work as a team. He responded promptly to my request and he and his son worked efficiently, the quality of their work is excellent and they were polite and very professional. I would recommend them without reservation, and would use them again.

Great--called to set up time and did a great job. The price was great. I paid $99 for the visit and the rest for parts, etc. it allowed me to get some things done and find a great electrician,

.Alan called the day before his arrival to verify the appointment and arrived a few minutes before the appointed time. He and son Sam went immediately to work - pointing out any irregularities or needs for upgrade in existing wiring. They were communicative, friendly, hard-working and neat. Work was done in a timely manner. Advice given on proposed future projects was helpful and will be followed. The experience was excellent and I look forward to working with Alan and son on next projects.

Sam noticed that my junction box outside needed to have some silicone and a boot put on it, so water would not be able to get in the box in the basement. They were very knowledgeable, talk about why they were doing what they were doing. I felt very good about the work they did lasting a long time and would be safe.

Alan and his son (at least I think it was his son) did a great job very responsive and nice. They finished the job very fast and it looks and works great. I would definitely hire them again.

I had a breaker trip and it would not reset. Called Alan for the first time this morning based on Angie's LIst reviews. He showed up within a couple of hours and worked diligently to solve the problem. I could not be happier with the service and the experience. I definitely recommend him and will call him again with any future electrical work.

We were off to a great start when I sent Alan a message re what was needed and scheduling info--and he called me within the hour! He was accommodating with the appt and called ahead to estimate arrival. We needed four very different jobs done at my grandfather's home: replace a ceiling light/fan (that we purchased ahead of time) check to confirm a ceiling fan was still in good working order, repair an overhead light, remove an electric baseboard and cap off wires, and troubleshoot an outside post light. Alan and his son arrived on time, completed each of the jobs, cleaned up completely and even took the baseboard heater with them for disposal. We were very impressed how efficiently they worked, all together about 2 hours and that included going out for a part that was missing/needed to install the new light/fan. Also, they provided a no nonsense status on the outside post light, noting that to get it working would require digging up the buried wires and would be expensive. We decided against the extra work, given there was other outside lighting. Next time we need electrical work, we will contact Alan!

Sam worked steadily and was knowledgable and competent. I would absolutely hire him again.

We called Alan two weeks ago about an electrical issue the inspection team found when doing our home inpsection. We told him what we needed and that we needed it done in a timely manner. No rush, we needed to have work completed before closing. We decided on a date and time. Alan arrived at our home right on time. Very nice man, asked about the problems, and went right to work. He was finished in 45 minutes, replaced some switches with GFI's, corrected the wiring issue. Alan worked in an efficient manner and explained what he did, gave me an invoice. I was kinda shocked at the price, being so low. He explained he was there less than an hour, he charged us for the new electrical switches and the labor! Nothing more, nothing less. When we need electrical problems fixed he will be the first guy I call. Thanks Alan for a job well done!

Super fast service and response. Called in the afternoon yesterday, he called back in the morning next day. Work is now done less than 24 hours later. Couldn't be happier.

Everything went very well. I was impressed with Alan's professionalism. He did not try to influence me in any way. He showed me the problems that he found, told me my options and I made the decisions on what needed to be done.

I had a laundry list of electrical jobs to be done and Alan and his son Sam took care off all of them. They were great!!! I plan on calling on the again.

Alan was excellent! I called frantically for someone to come out because the dryer which was just delivered earlier in the day wasn't heating up (I purchased a new drying because my 10 yr old dryer stopped heating up). Alan came out with in the hour and found that the circuit breaker for the dryer was corroded. He checked the rest of the circuits and found 2 others that needed to be replaced. He replaces all three circuits with no problem and checked to make sure my dryer was heating properly (it was!). He also gave me a quote on some additional electrical work which I will call him for in the future. I called Alan based on the recommendations I found here and I am so glad I did!

Alan arrived within about 2.5 hrs of my call. I needed a circuit breaker replaced along with a switch and a plug. He did the work quickly, and professionally. What he charged was below what I thought it would probably cost. When he came I told him I suspected that the breaker was bad and the place to start, before any other problems could be identified. He agreed accepted my word that I had the right diagnoses and quickly confirmed it. He then replaced the breaker, and went on to find problems with both a plug and a switch, which he replaced. This took him about 1 hr, but since the was a circuit for the pool there was a lot of running back & forth. I would gladly call him the next time I have a problem.

The service was excellent. I would use them again.
