I got them off of Angie’s List and they were fine. The work was done in an hour. Their price I thought was high for an hour’s service, that was really not that complicated at all, but the service was satisfactory and they resolved the problem. The work that was done was a workmanship.

Overall it went even better than expected.

Response to our call was prompt, and the electrician arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. He was very pleasant, courteous and explained what he was doing and why. Because of the age of the fixture and wiring it was a more complicated job than it appeared on the surface, which convinced us we made the right choice by not trying to do it ourselves. He ended up replacing the socket and pull chain.

Very well! They were very responsive, prompt, courteous, professional. Explained everything they did, cleaned up their workplace. We will definitely use them again.

Hannan Electric has been great to work with. Whether the work was done by Mr. Hannan himself or by another employee, I've consistently impressed with their knowledge, profesionalism and service.

I had my 8yr old twins in tub in my bathroom being supervised by my 11 yr old daughter. Umm, think that didn't go so well:) They managed to splash a huge amount of water up into the light/vent fixture above the tub (that took a little interrogation to figure out after I heard them screaming that all the lights had gone out in the bathroom). I tried the breaker (which didn't appear to be tripped) a couple of times. Being a single mom, that was kind of the extent of my knowledge. There was no GFI outlet near the sink, just a regular outlet. Did some research and it said to look for other GFI circuits, which I did. Finally, called Hannan's Electric based on Angie's List reviews. The lady that answered was so nice and with a sense of humor (needed that). We worked out the best time for them to come out which was two days later as I had other appts scheduled the following day. Then I realized the time wasn't going to work, called back and, again, she was really nice and we changed the time of day. The serviceman, Dan, was right on time and a really nice guy. Took him up to the bathroom, he saw where the fixture had obviously gotten wet and started looking around the bathroom. Sure enough there was a GFI outlet hidden behind a dresser I have in there. I had looked everywhere but behind there. He popped the button and all the lights came on. Obviously, I felt pretty stupid and apologized for having him come from Portland for this. He was really understanding, says it happens all the time and really had a sense of humor about the whole thing. I wasn't sure what the charge would be, assumed it would be the minimum for an hour labor but he refused any payment. With gas being so high, I insisted that I at least pay him something for his troubles but he totally refused. So, though there ended up being no work needed, if I do in the future, this is who I'll call. It's so nice when a company is so responsive and easy to deal with. Thank you Hannan's and Dan! I'm going to go take a long shower, with the lights on!

Dan was great to work with. He and his office person kept in touch during the process via email or by phone.

Excellent! They answered the phone, returned calls, showed up when they said they would, provided a quote within 2 days, scheduled the work within 2 weeks, did the work cleanly and quietly. They were in the house for 4 days and we hardly ever knew it. Their ability to snake wiring within walls is impressive! This was my first experience with them and I will use them for all my electrical work from now on.

Hannon's employees are always prompt and courteous, and clean up after themselves. No exception this time -- here at 8 am, quiet and efficiently working as I write this. As an aside, we had previous work done on our kitchen through a contractor that used a different electrician -- such poor quality of work! The bad electrician left large holes in the wall around outlets, never cleaned up, and was very expensive. That experience definitely made us decide to stick with Hannons -- its clear that not all electricians are the same. Highly recommend Hannon's -- great quality work for reasonable cost.

They were really good to move around our schedule. They were great, and cleaned up after themselves. They were some really nice people.
