Description of Work: Had to have chimney relined to have new furnace installed. They came the day after a blizzard and all went well. |Used them again this fall as the chimney for the wood stove needed to be relined as it had a crack in it. Cost about $1400. |Hopefully no more chimneys need relining but, I would call them again if that were the case.

 + -1 moreEverything was spotless. He did an unbelievable job. Before we bought the house I drove by it every day on my way to work and at 7 am one morning he was there with his crew doing the liners. It looked like some kind of an alien popping out of my house. It is the type of system that you can pull the chain and it will close the system so no wind can get in. I thought that was a really nice feature. He came highly recommended. He was very personable on the phone. I would use him to come back and clean it based on the level of work that he did. Everything was spotless when he left and there was no sign that he had been here.
Description of Work: I used Pickett's because the house I moved into failed the chimney inspection and the fireplace was collapsing internally. The mortar and brick were collapsing. Mr. Pickett came and relined two fireplaces. He also put in a new cast iron door.

He showed up each time he made an appointment, called us with any changes well in advance, and was thoroughly knowledgeable about what to do and how to do it.His actual charge was less than his first estimate. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Relined the fireplace chimney and hooked up new woodstove. Installed stainless steel liner for oil furnace and made other code improvements.

 + -1 moreIt went well. I got the estimate and we talked before the December holidays and he said he would perform the work after the 1st. He called me and scheduled it; I did not have to pursue him. He came the day he promised and completed the work efficiently. He was easy to contact and returned any calls promptly. He urged me to call with any questions. Would sure call him again!

He called back very quickly, and came out very quickly; it was actually done faster than I could have imagined. They were very pleasant, and I was quite pleased with the work done.
