Description of Work: I didnt hire them because they were duds. Had zero personality and didnt seem to want the job. They didnt seem knowledgable about painting kitchen cabinets at all and the estimate was outrageous for spray painting only one side of the cupboard doors (in their shop). This was the first time I used someone from angies list and I was very disappointed!

Description of Work: This is the fourth time I used LR Higgins, specifically Dean Currier. The first time was to install bathroom vanities. Dean went well above and beyond to install the vanities, correct countertop issues not caused by LR Higgins. He did a fantastic job. Was courteous, prompt and cleaned up after he was done. I've also used LR Higgins for plumbing issues -- three times in total since the first job. Dean has performed all the work. The price is very reasonable. Dean is excellent at communicating, does what he says he's going to do and finishes the job quickly. Dean is extremely professional. I would highly recommend both LR Higgins and Dean.

Description of Work: LR Higgins did a great job! Their estimate was fair. They told me of the time line and followed it closely. Neighbors have seen their work and were impressed at Higgins workmanship. They were excellent. They were punctual and I felt that their price was fair. My sister has also used them and was very satisfied. All of the Higgins were very professional.

Description of Work: Wanted a quote for remodel of kitchen - never returned call Then once he saw my review on Angies List he was really prompt to phone me up and try to convince me to change my review. So now he has come across as not just apathetic but a bully. Don't ever call me again.

Description of Work: Although we did not end up doing business with this company, I can say I am very pleased with the professionalism of Eric and his staff. They responded to our request within 24 hours and they arrived at meetings "on time". These two things reflect the respect this company has for their clients as well as their prospective clients. I'm hoping to be able to work with them in the future.

Description of Work: The faucet hose in the kitchen from the source to the faucet burst and there was water damage under the sink and into the finished basement below. Praise for all of the categories listed above. Quick estimate; scheduling right away; repair took 3-5 days (they are finishing up on Tuesday 9/13) and they were able to take care of all of the damage from water damaged cabinet, soaking wet sofit, basement sub-floor; wallpaper; dry wall; reinstall stained carpet; baseboard heaters; ceiling tiles; to name just a few. This was one-stop shopping. Although insurance paid for it I would call them again in a second. They were also nice to our dog that wasn't always nice to them.
