+ -1 moreI was given a specific time of arrival; they called to warn me that they were running 30 minutes late but they ended up arriving right on time after all. The two young men were very personable, courteous and clean (well within reason for the work, I mean). My dog was having a barking conniption, but it didn't faze them at all. I was worried about getting the couch out, but no problem (and no damage to walls or anything on the way down). It cost me exactly what I had been quoted. They were here and gone within about 20 minutes tops. My highest recommendation -- you won't be sorry.
Description of Work: They removed a couch from the second floor of my home, plus items from the garage that I had put in a pile in the driveway.

Work was quick and efficient, and no challenge was too big - at one point, one of the workers hung from the rafters to pull down some loose pieces of scrap wood. Junk removed filled a pickup bed and an attached trailer without an inch to spare, and the cost was very reasonable - I estimate that 1800GotJunk would have cost more than double. Terrific experience!
Description of Work: Cleared out 3/4 of a garage including a broken down crib, various small furniture items, scrap lumber, and a variety of odds and ends. Also removed several items including a mattress from an attic space. Total work time was about an hour.

Description of Work: I was moving from a home I had lived in for 28 years, and I am a single woman in my 60's. I couldn't have done it without these guys. They came whenever I called. They were on time and friendly. They never told me they couldn't move something. They went into my attic and down to my basement and hauled things out for me... always with a smile. I'm not kidding. They charge by the load... whether it fills a pick up truck or the truck and a trailer. They always packed them as full as possible so I got the best deal for my money. One trip, I had a lot of metal, which they can sell, so they gave me some off on my payment. Just really nice, honest guys. I hope never to move again, but if I need them, I'd use them again in a heart beat.

+ -1 moreAs I stated. They were very professional and did a good job, but I think we needed to be clearer on the cost to myself. The owner stated that there might be no charge if they received enough metal, and with the truck and trailer, I believe they did, yet the charge ended up being $50.00, which I do not think was fair.
Description of Work: They did a good job. Covered my property and hauled away lots and lots of metal and junk. The problem to me was that when I spoke to the owner before the job, he stated that if they got enough metal (which was high at the time) there might not be any charge for their services. In my opionion, they got at least 5 large loads of metal and yet they still charged me $75.00, which I haggled down to $50.00. I think there should have been no charge as they worked quickly and received many times that amount for the metal they took. But they did a good job, were polite, and worked quickly. I would use them again, but make things clear before they started and have them put it in writing.

Description of Work: Two courteous young men responded to our call for large & small item removal when we moved out of our home last year. They cleaned out a large amount from both our garage and storage shed. They swept out both buildings when they were finished without being asked. We were more than pleased with their services and would recommend them highly.

They removed a queen sized sleeper sofa, love seat, 6+ rooms worth of carpeting that I pulled up including the padding, numerous boxes/bags of trash. They were quick, neat and got the job done! They were awesome and I will call them again anytime I need "stuff" removed. So much more professional than the last company I used.
Description of Work: I had a garage full of junk--construction debris, old carpeting, old furniture, kids school papers...you name it, it was in the garage. There was also a bunch of old computer equipment. They were very personable and so easy to work with.

Description of Work: Cleanup after a rebuild on the deck...about 24 X 12 feet. Garett responded that same day, did an on site estimate, and did a pickup on some of the materials that had been scattered by the wind. Load consisted of used lumber, bits of hardware, and a few bits and pieces from the house. The men (2) worked busily,and got down to the small wood chips. I was very favorably impressed.

They were there less than half an hour and even swept out the garage before they left. They charged less than was originally quoted. We could not have been more pleased with this company.

They also do not need the consumer to stand over them and supervise their work. I was able to meet with them, get their estimate, pay them, and return to work - they are honest and dependable. Would hire them again, without hesitation.
Description of Work: Hauled a torn down aluminum shed (they had to do cutting of the roof in order to get pieces into their truck bed. Hauled two truck loads of old building materials, large drain pipe, and various junk.
