It went well

The project went extremely well from start to finish. We were a bit delayed by the weather but once the weather cleared things moved fast. The crew arrived on schedule in the morning, unloaded and set to work. They were quiet, professional and thorough. The clean-up was especially notable and the place looks better than when they arrived! I would have them do other roofing work and am pleased to recommend them to my neighbors.

After getting several estimates, we decided to go with Mike and CascoBay Roofing. MIke was very good about answering questions/concerns and worked around our schedule to do the work while we were out of town. Installation took 2 days and the roof looks great, the new gutter was initially leaking and Mike was very prompt about correcting the problem. They did a good job, price was competetive with the other quotes we received. We would use them again if ever needed

They came on time of the day promised, the men (5) worked quietly no swearing, no boom box. - very efficient and throughly cleaned the perimeter of debris - a very good experience!!

Mike was such a great guy to work with. He was very quick to answer all email and phone calls. He gave us a quote quickly, and then was not pushy at all. I knew immediately that he was the right person for the job. Mike and his crew were always polite, respectful, neat, and punctual. When they ran into some problems, there was no extra charge, and he called right me right away to let me know what was going on. I don't think you can go wrong if you choose Casco Bay Roofing and Renovations! I'd recommend them to anyone.

Mike and his team did a great job of stripping the old roof, prepping the deck with the proper ice and water shield in all the valleys, proper underlayment and rolled roofing where needed. We fussed with the best way to cut the valleys, actually removing, replacing and recutting the new shingles in one valley til the roof looked exactly the way we wanted it to . They left our house immaculate. We would definitely recommend Casco Bay Roofing to anyone.

I was very pleased with the work that was done. Being an old Victorian house , nothing was easy about the job, especially the non-standard skylight so we had to add on to the work order several times. I Hired Casco Bay based on their reasonable quote and their good recommendations on Angies list. Roofers in general have some of the highest incidents of consumer complaints because the financial consequences and costs of a poorly done roof are high. For this reason I researched the contractors quite thoroughly and got 4 quotes. Mike Norris was very accomadating about all the add ons, honest, reliable and considering all the extra works, I felt very fair in his final invoice.. Final story. Before the roof job we were having our attic insulated just before Christmas. The insulators noticed that water was coming through the roof by the chimney due to old flashing. They did not want to finish the job until the leak was fixed. I called Mike, and even though it was Christmas Eve and his crew was off, he came over and patched the leak that same day. I knew at that point I had contracted the right guy for the job. I would recommend Mike and Casco Bay Movers to anyone.

The work proceeded safely and at a reasonable pace with consideration for safety, quality of workmanship and materials. The job was properly supervised and all members of the staff and the owner were courteous and professional throughout the job. The job went safely and very well from start to finish. Clean up and site restoration was very good and the price was exactly as agreed. We are pleased with the result. It is noteworthy that when a job goes this well every one is pleased and we are happy to write this report.

Mike's crew were timely, professional and we were amazed at their clean-up at the end of each days work.

I ended up going with someone else only because this person will be doing several other projects for me as well as my roof. I highly recommend Mike--I would be going with Casco Bay Roofing if I didn't have other projects around the house that needed to be done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike and Casco Bay Roofing to anyone needing roofing work. It was a pleasure to deal with Mike.

Casco Bay Roofers were very professional, reasonably priced, and did a good job. They were not able to begin the job at the planned time, but the delay was primarily due to rainy weather. They had a crew of 3 or 4 guys, all of whom seemed to be experienced, and once they began the work, they completed the work quickly. We found some pieces of shingles and nails around after they left, but not very many. I would recommend them.

A few delays in getting the job completed.

When called for an estimate Michael Norris was yawning on the phone as if I were boreing him. He then showed up at my house without an appointment and without calling me. When he did speak to me NO eye contact was noted. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Fast estimate- as soon as the weather/temperature cooperated work was started and completed just as promised!

Their quote was pretty reasonable. I had no direct interaction with them. I just spoke to them on the phone and they were about average. They gave me the quote and I never heard from them again.

Mike and his crew are professionals in what they do and this makes dealing with them a pleasure. Mike returned my call promptly, went to the job site when he said he would and gave me a written quote for the work, complete with all the specs. He was there to do the job when he sadi he'd be, did a great job protecting our plantings and completed the work as stated in one day. Although it's not likely I'll be roofing this house for a long time, I would not hesitate to do business again with Mike and Casco Bay Roofing and highly recommend you have him do yours!

Except for a freak snow storm getting in the way, they started and finished when they said they would. The crew was very accommodating and very personable. I would recommend this team to my friends and family. They worked very well together and were very friendly.

They were very good and we were totally pleased. The price was fair. They were friendly and professional. The clean up was excellent.

They came out very close to Christmas, did it quite quickly, and the price was very good.

CBR responded to my phone call in a prompt and professional manner, provided a detailed,reasonable estimate, to my specifications, and completed the work, which included protecting my property and clean-up, again, in a timely and professional manner. All workers were polite and hard working. It took about two and a half days. I highly, recommend Casco Bay Roofing

It went very well. He showed up when he said to do the estimate. The price seemed reasonable and I was happy with it. He answered all my questions. It got too cold and he will be doing the work in the spring.

Very large house, complicated roof line. All workers were polite, prompt, excellent work. Cleaned up every day. Kept in good communication, answered all questions, dropped off samples of roof shingles, etc. Also put in some insulation. Highly recommend.
