Description of Work: temporary repair of flashing until full repair in the spring. Mike has previously repaired the ridge vents on my home that were installed incorrectly by a former owner. Mike and his team are responsive and honest.

Description of Work: I have a leak in my roof and this company came out to look at it. They identified the problem and explained what needed to be done. Unfortunately, they were not able to provide this service as they were booked for many months. They did provide us with advice on how to complete the repair and even gave us the material needed to do the job (at no cost). Along with this they provided some names of people that may be able to complete this job for us. I felt this was very professional and would definately call them again. Thank you

Description of Work: They replaced the roof on my house, approximately 3600 ft2 of roof. In addition, we bought several extra squares of shingles through them, which they provided at their cost. The crew was hard-working and respectful, no idling or down time, they went right to it. Cleanup at job's end was very thorough. Owner (Mike Norris) and foreman both checked in regularly. Any specific issues or challenges that came up were promptly and fully brought to my attention so that I could make informed decisions whenever necessary. Prior to the job, we were focused on getting specific roofing that coordinated with our house. Mike was very helpful in giving us addresses of other sites with the same shingles we were considering. Finally, I note that of the five estimates that we gathered in the preceding months, Mike's was the second lowest. I would definitely recommend Casco Bay Roofing to anyone who inquires.

Description of Work: Had a roof leak in our bedroom. Previously was repaired by a building contractor, not a roofer, and the leak came back, 5 years later. |When Casco Bay accessed the roof they discovered that the previous contractor did not apply the shingles properly for a 3 tab shingle and was making nail holes that caused the 2nd leak. |Casco Bay was competent, professional, timely and a pleasure to do business with.

Description of Work: Replaced my roof, removed chimney and repaired rubber roof. Mike was always very responsive and tackled the most critical part of the repair first. The guys were very fast, arrived on time and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I plan to use them again when I need my garage roof replaced.

Description of Work: A honest contractor is one who tells you that you don't have a problem. I called because of what. I thought was an ice dam. After inspection, Casco said I didn't have a problem and nothing needed to be done. They were right and the problem resolved itself at no cost. A++++

Description of Work: Needed leak from snow on roof above upstairs bathroom addressed. Crew of two showed up and removed snow and ice from problem area. Very difficult access point which they handled fine. Total time was about 45 minutes for two guys so charge was a bit on the high side but considering the danger and difficulty acceptable. Did the job well, no problems since.

Description of Work: They roof raked all my roofs and snow blowed my pathways and plowed my driveway. They were efficient, quick and pleasant. They did a great job. It just seemed like it was expensive but I paid the same price 2-3 years ago which means he hasn't gone up on prices and several friends have priced other roofers and said they were comparable.

Description of Work: I contacted them to remove an ice dam on my roof. Although they were in high demand at that point, they did squeeze me in. I was unable to be present at the home but they were in touch with me several times in an appropriate manner. I thought they were candid about what did and didn't need to be done and warned me in advance that they could not do a portion of the roof that would be dangerous for the workers as well as the glass skylight.

Description of Work: They replaced my entire roof, and all of the 'stuff' that goes with that. Mike gave me a quote up front (a few months before), and that's exactly what I paid. He, and his foreman, Tony, were very professional, respectful and polite. They did an excellent job, and quickly. Excellent clean-up as well - not even a bit of materials or evidence that they'd been there.
