Perfect service, highly recommended.

Greg did an outstanding job when it came to helping us out with our first chimney cleaning. We learned quite a bit about our set up and he was a very helpful resource when we had to have our furnace flue and new wood stove work done with another contractor. He also was very patient and able to install our chimney cap with our difficult scheduling conflicts.

Excellent. He sweeps our chimneys every year. He is very reliable, thorough, and goes the extra mile. Last winter, while sweeping the chimney, he found a problem with the oil furnace leaking carbon monoxide into the cellar air, and he addressed it and repaired it even though it took extra time. He is very conscientious. Looking forward to him sweeping our chimneys again this fall.

I simply can't say enough good things about Greg. Hands down, he is the one that I will use from now on for any of my chimney needs. In addition to the above, Greg identified a critical and potentially lifesaving issue during his inspection. He discovered that one of the woodstoves installed by the tenant was connected to the furnace flue. The tenant had burned low grade,wet wood, thus much creosote had been generated. This partially clogged the chimney. He advised me that had we used the oil furnace this winter, there would have been a significant risk of carbon monoxide poisoning for anyone in the home. Having lost two friends in a carbon monoxide poisoning incident several years ago, this really hit close to home. I am so grateful for Greg's knowledge, level head and professional approach. I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone that is in need of his type of service.

No problem scheduling the appointment - within about 10 days of the call. Greg arrived right on time and immediately put on shoe covers to protect the flooring. He prepped the area in the basement to cover the floor. It was then up to the roof for the cleaning and back down for the clean out. Very professional job and the $25 Angie's List coupon was a nice bonus. No attempt to "upsell" additional services like masonry sealers, which I've had in the past. Very good experience overall.

He was prompt, courteous and efficient. I have had another service before and they did not wear booties to protect my floors, did not cover the wood stove to prevent dust/ash from flying around, nor did they clean the chimney as thoroughly as Lake Region. He will keep my business.

The stove started leaking around the pipe leading into the chimney; leaving the house with quite a 'sooty' smell. When I called for an appointment, the fellow was EXTREMELY accommodating in agreeing to do the work on the first work day after my call. Unbelievable! The guy did a fantastic job with the cleaning, being sure to NOT get the rugs dirty; cloth boots, tarps - he did an excellent job and was VERY willing to do the work - even when he was quite booked up already! Very impressive!

Came to inspect and estimate at no charge, did all work as promised.On time, courteous, professional in all respects.As a fire department volunteer is knowledgeable in all aspects of code as well.Had previously installeda chimney cap for us on another house.Highly recommended.

Fantastic service. Came out as scheduled and thoroughly cleaned the wood stove chimney and cleaned inside and around the woodstove. Checked the wood burning fireplace, the chimney didn't need cleaning, but, eventho we didn't ask, he cleaned out the ashes anyway at no charge. We had this work done in January and his website says $125 per chimney in the winter, but he only charged us his summer rate of $99. What a great company. He will clean my chimney's from now on.

Greg was on time, professional and pleasant. He did a thorough job and took care not to soil my living room carpet by laying a large blanket in front of the woodstove and wearing protective wear over his street shoes while in the house. Without my asking he gave me a Senior Discount! Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I will use Lake Region Chimney Services for all my chimney services in the future.

The representative was very professional. He only performed work that was needed, and was very honest. I will use the services of the company in the future.

Greg responded very quickly to telephone inquiry, came out to house and provided estimate with couple of days. Work was scheduled for a week and half later. Arrived on time, work completed in about half a day, no mess. Greg is a great guy, very polite, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him.
