They quoted a rate to do exactly what we asked for, and then proposed a day rate to spend the whole day to trim off dead wood from multiple trees near our house. I appreciated the option, and having them look around a offer an economical choice.

This is the beginning of an ongoing process of feeding and protecting my trees from bugs. I am very happy with the experience so far. The people are pleasant and willing to explain everything to me.

I got a call back within the hour and a visit that same day for an estimate. Tom also works with the city of Portland and contacted them re some trees overhanging my roof which the city was responsible for. They OK'd him to do all the work and I only had to pay for one tree while the city paid for two. Workers were polite, professional and cleaned up everything. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

They're very responsive and fast. Everyone showed up on time. They pruned three trees for us and pulled out a couple of large shrubs and what I thought was it gonna take most of the day but it took just an hour and a half. They cleaned up and just did a wonderful job.

They put down the mat for them to drive their truck on my lawn and there was absolutely no evidence left of the equipment. I have never seen that done before. Their workmanship was great. They were prompt. I had them go around and had them give an estimate at that time & they stayed with it. They charged $250 for a small treatment. I wasn't asking for it as it wasn't a part of the contract. I was ready to hear no, but they said no problem. They did a great job. The trees that they chopped down were difficult and they spend a day on one tree. Two trees were taken down the next day. They did it very efficiently. They took their time, but wanted to do it right. One tree was on my neighbor's property. It was done correctly.

I was going to use them, but I changed my mind because they're at a high price point. I was not comfortable with the estimate.

Provided a diagnosis for my ailing tree, recommended trunk injection treatment (early summer) followed by soil injection (late fall) to prevent next cycle of infection. Provided clear materials to describe the pest and its impact. Performed contracted work as specified in estimate. Arborist has stopped by to check on the health of the tree during the season. I have switched my tree maintenance and care to Davey Tree based on my satisfaction with this experience.

Our large maple tree, which is the only big tree on our property and vital for our shade in the summer has been infected with Anthracnose. For those not familiar with anthracnose, it can pretty quickly kill off a tree. The price above reflects an initial major pruning and then several treatments over the last year. We are very happy with the service from Davey tree. Everyone we've dealt with seems to truly care about the health of our tree. When I asked to keep the wood from the pruning, they nicely cut it down to smaller sizes and piled it up on the side of my yard. This summer our tree was doing much better and hopefully will be fully back to good health come spring time.

Do a good job and managed to save the tree which was rotten on a main limb

We called with the coupon for the free estimate. Two days later they were at the house taking the tree down. We were very pleased. They were courtous and cleaned up after.

They did a wonderful job. They left it looking clean and I was happy with their work.

.The work was done when I was not here, so I cannot comment on the people who did that. However, I was pleased with the work that they did. They didn't leave any mess around but there was some stuff left, buy they didn't leave anything that wasn't here when they came.

Arborist Tom Ford was here on the day and time he said he would be for the appraisal. The appraisal was given in writing; printing off a copy from his computer. The job was done in the time frame given. All employees were professional, courteous and continually asked if what they had done was up to our standards. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants tree removal done professionally and in a timely manner.

It was great. I was worried about the lawn because I had a tree company come in and do some minor damage to the lawn. Davey uses large mats to cover the lawn and ride their equipment on that. They do not let the trees fall to the ground. They cut the trunk and gently lower it or lift it out. There is no trace of them being here, other than the piles wood chips. Excellent job.

This company was actually hired by the city but they did a good job. They were prompt, worked quickly and cleaned up.

The service from Davey was outstanding. They came to assess the issue within a day or two of being called. An appointment for removal was available within a few days. The team doing the work arrived on-time, was very polite and helpful. The only surprise was the three LARGE trucks/equipment required to take care of the job. The gentlemen who did the work were truly professionals. By the end of the day, the tree was gone and the yard was cleaned-up beautifully. I highly recommend this company.

They always do an excellent job. Most recently they've took a tree down and chewed it up and took it away. The ground was still wet so they brought a bunch of plywood to stand on so he wouldn't damage my lawn. When they came out for my free estimate they circled the tree so that the employees would know which one they are working on.

They were punctual, did good work, charged appropriately, cleaned up afterwards. I was so impressed that I engaged them for some lawn work.

When I called for an estimate they sent someone right out that day. They removed the limb and left the yard immaculate. The price was phenomenal.
