The company did respond via phone within a couple of days. They told me they would send a person out to our property the following week for evaluation. However, no one showed up during the following week and no contact from the company whatsoever. Very disappointed and would not recommend this company for any job pertaining to trees.

Did not hire. Not the lowest bid. Will consider for future work.

The job is completely done.Davy was great, response from the 1st phone conversation he was here to evaluate the situation suggested options,together husband Mark as well said the thing to do was remove it. Davy returned a week later to grind the stump. Davy did a good well cleaned up job. Davy himself presented very friendly,professional neat and clean. Yes we would hire him again and recommend him.

The service was fine. They were good. Their price was along the same line with other tree trimmers. Their responsiveness was good. They did a good job and the workers were great. They did what I asked them to do.

It was fine. We had an rather large maple tree, and they came and trimmed it off the line. They did an really good job.

I will absolutely use them again. It was so hard because there were other trees around it. I don't know how they did it. When they trimmed all of the trees, they pruned all of the trees and then they ground down the stumps that fall.

They were willing to work with me on specific timeline and came at a price that was affordable.

It went fine and I thought they were fair. I found them to be good.

everything went fabulous! Kevin came out looked at the job gave an estimate and set a date to do the job. They had an opening that came up earlier and called to see if they could do the job sooner. The clean up was fantastic if I hadn't known that Kevin's crew had been there you really couldn't tell, well you could because the trees looked great but there was no debris, limbs, even sawdust left on the ground.

The Davy Tree Experts were very professional and courteous. Left the yard cleaner than they found it. Many thanks to the crew: Chris, Gil, Dick, Jeff, Pete and Seamus. Outstanding job! Additionally, it was a pleasure doing business with Tom Ford.

Contacted company to come out for an estimate, easy to schedule, and quick response time. Manager came out, inspected property on the day I requested, and gave a very fair and reasonable quote. Quote was accepted, and scheduled for 5 days later, again on the day requested. On the day of, the workers arrived on time, actually a bit early, but were respectful, and waited until the assigned 8am start time to ring the bell. They got right to work, and only took thirty minutes off for lunch. Even with the break, they were done within six hours, and all the work exceeded expectations. The manager who had provided the estimate arrived near the end to inspect their work, and to make sure I was satisfied. After completion of the work, they cleaned up the area, and even used a leaf blower to blow off the deck, driveway, and walkways, as well as raking all almost all the loose debris. I would use them again, which is high praise for me.

What a professional, well-spoken representative of the company Tom is. He listened carefully to our needs, walked the property with us, immediately drew up contract and discussed it with us. Within the week we were notified about the tree work and the 2 men with equipment came on time and took care of the tree including grinding it up in the blink of an eye. It was done carefully, professionally, neatly. Today, April 20th, the stump grinding crew came and took care of the grinding and again, they were polite and careful and were finished in the blink of an eye. As I write, the crew is putting in the new lawn in the front of the house. The same care and concentration on the job is taking place. I can't say enough good things about this company. The words I would use to describe their work and encounters with us are professional, careful, neat, clear about what we wanted and what they were providing, reasonably priced. Further, all Davey workers were polite, well-spoken, kind, able and willing to answer any questions, quick and tidy providing each service. We are thrilled with the results of all their work. I recommend this company to anyone who has need of their services.

I called 3 companies and they were the only one that called me back. They called be back promptly, and came out the next day. There were 2 guys on the crew, the price was fair, and they cleaned up well after they were done.

I was happy with most of the job - some of the tree stumps up against our building were not handled sufficiently and will probably need to be done again. Not sure if that is their fault though. Response time and work timeline both great. Price was a little high for the effort required though.

Very fast service - Davey was able to get to our home quickly and remediate the issue. In addition, we were impressed that very few small items remained (leaves, small branches, etc...) and that the damage to the localized area was minimal.

The crew arrived exactly on time and assessed the situation. They brought everything needed to complete the job. They were very professional, courteous and friendly. We were amazed by their efficiency and competence. Though it was a fairly cold day the weather did not disrupt their work and they moved methodically and carefully through the job. No damage was done to any adjacent trees of the house. We were very impressed , needless to say and would hire them again ( and intend to do so) whenever tree services are required. It took only about six hours for them to complete the work and they cleaned up any debris left from the trees. If anyone is looking for this kind of service we would highly recommend Davey .

It turned out great but I haven't got the bill yet. I thought they were very good. I would use them again in the future.

We received a quote for work but when we tried to schedule it they were very lackadaisical. After a month and a half of trying to get on their schedule we were told that they could "probably" get it done within the next two weeks. After telling them it has been taking a long time to schedule the work they said they might be able to do it next week. They said once again that they would call Friday or Monday to let us know. This is very unprofessional.

It turned out great. I thought they were very good. They did a great job and I appreciate it. They have to come back and grind the stumps which they have not done yet. They were very professional and friendly and did a good job. I didn't expect more. Now I have to wait for the bill.

They are just awesome. They have transplanted a couple of trees, and everything they have done is impeccable, they have cleaned up after themselves, and take everything away. Their prices are reasonable. They go above and beyond. The interactions with them were enjoyable. They are easy people to talk to, listen to what I have to say, and my ideas.

I cannot speak highly enough of this company and their expert staff. I had two extremely large maples on my compact Portland lot, with all sorts of wires, fences and other trees & plants complicating a removal job. Both trees were twice the size of my 3-story home, and for one of the trees I wasn't sure how they could even get a truck in so figured they would have to climb it. The Davey staff approached this job swiftly and professionally. Tom handled the quote and scheduling promptly, and came onsite the very first day to check in on the work. Having worked with all sorts of contractors over the years, I really appreciated his professionalism, efficiency, and advice. But, when the guys hit the trees, that's when the magic began! As I work from home I was able to watch them skillfully take my front tree down with care and creativity. I kept taking pictures of what I was witnessing, and saying out loud, my God, how is he doing that?! In the end, the only "collateral damage" was my Bleeding Heart plant - which is pretty fragile anyway - and even that only had a couple bent stalks! And apart from the expected amount of wood chips here and there, they cleaned my yard completely, re-set any divets created from falling limbs in the yard, even re-seeded some places as needed. (One word of advice, if they grind the stumps and you want the company to remove the debris, don't forget to ask, as this is not always assumed!) I have a new and deep appreciation for the arborist trade - this vocation takes skill, strength, brains and artistry - and the Davey Tree staff in particular is also a pleasure to work with! Would (and already have) absolutely recommend them to friends and neighbors!

The team was friendly and did a great job. Kevin was the project manager and was very responsive in answering questions and he seemed keen on making sure we were very happy with the end result. The pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work they did. I have and would recommend them.

Our experience with davey trees was excellent. They showed up early in the morning - their were several guys maybe five or six maybe one more. They did everything quickly and neatly -everything was so neat. Very professional. The price was absolutely right on. We were afraid it would be a lot more and we were shocked at the price. After comparing others we are thrilled and would recommend them to anyone!!
